Final Countdown

Less than 24 hours till 2006. Wow!

I felt like writing again, so soon after my last post, as I will probably not get a chance to write tomorrow and I thought I'd get tonight out of the way.

So not long after posting my last post, I decided to head next door for a swim. It's supposed to be even hotter tomorrow. Could get crowdered. Oh well. Thank God we have airconditioning now. Yay.

After the swim, we came back and got changed. The girls and I watched a bit of Nic's Kelly Clarkson dvd, that she insisted on showing to Lucy.
Mum and Dad ended up inviting Lyn and Steve (and Rowina, Steve's mum I think....) over for dinner and drinks. They came around 7. Lucy ended up staying for dinner too. -Which we didn't end up having till a little after 8pm I don't think.
We started watching Sweet Home Alabama. The girls gave up and played on the comp, the Sims2 ofcourse! I watched the rest of the movie.
Dinner was okay, we had pizza, all the cheese made me feel a little queesy though, so I couldn't finish it.
After Sweet Home Alabama, Lucy had gone and so Nikki watched Hercules with me. After that Lyn and Steve left. -I have known them my whole life, they just moved to Darwin, but we used to go away with them and their kids Ben and Emma. Ben is a year older than me, Emma is a year younger.

Scott is going to be working all day tomorrow and then coming home and going out to the city for NYE. So that will be pleasant. Hehe.
Elsa is coming over tomorrow night, I get to hang out with my girl. yay. I will have to show her that really entertaining video from the set of Crossing Jordan. -Those guys crack me up. They are NUTS! Hehe.

I've added a bit more to my script. It's ever so slowly getting there.
I still have to go make my bed, so I should probably get going. Tomorrow will be a late night.

Happy New Years! Hope your 2005 was good, and that your 2006 will be just as good, if not better :D

Once More With Feeling

No I am not talking about the musical episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer...although speaking of, I haven't watched that in ages! I LOVE that ep. ...anyways..
I'm talking about the hot hot weather that is making everyone kinda grumpy, and sleepy and if ya stay out in the sun too long a little dry and possibly sore.

I slept in this morning, which was great. Then I found out both Dad and Scott had gone to the cricket. With Mum at work, this left just me and Nic at home. So we puttered around for a little while, discussing when we would like to go swimming. And at a little before 12:30pm, we headed next door for a swim. We had it all to ourselves and had a great and lovely relaxing swim. I sat out at one point with the thermometre they use to check the water temp, it went up over 40 degrees celcius. YIKES! It was about 27 in the water. It was beautiful. I may have gotten a little tanned...hopefully not burnt. -Nikki had her sunsmart top on. We were in there for just under an hour I think. We were packing up to go, when Mr McCraw...I can't remember his name...Steve I think..came in for a swim, and as we were opening the back door, we heard the rest of them come in. So that worked out well.
After that Nic and I had lunch and I organised for Elsa to come over tomorrow night to hang out for New Years Eve. YAY! hehe.

Scott came home around 2:30ish...then Dad. Nikki invited Lucy over for a play/swim and they are over in the pool right now.
Tonight Nikki and I will probably watch a few of the dvds we got for Christmas (or bought with the money we got for Christmas).
Wow only 1 more day of 2005 left. I hate that you finally get used to writing the year, when suddenly its the next one already. I wonder how long it will be before it feels right writing 2006. Yeesh!

There is supposed to be a new ep of Las Vegas airing Monday in the US..so I will probably try and download that Tuesday night. We'll see. hehe.

Hot Hot Hot!

Today was rather warm. There was swimming, and possibly a little burnt skin...ouch.

Overall today was a bad day for me. From practically the minute I woke up, I was fighting with someone and therefore in a bad mood. I had just returned from the lounge room, to get a tape I had left in my bedroom, when my jerk of a brother ducked in a whole 2 seconds before me, claiming HE was going to watch tv. So there was fighting and he stole the remote and put the tv on standby so that I could not turn it on. grrr. -but I eventually found it and all was okay...

Dad is still home at the moment. Today I wanted to go with him to the supermarket so that there would be food I wanted in the house, and a few other things I needed too. But he said that I couldn't go today. He went by himself..and ended up getting the wrong kind of Mac and Cheese. -My parents were going out with friends, and I was to cook dinner for Nikki. So I suggested mac and cheese to her. I asked for the easy one that takes 4 minutes in the mirowave...he got some other huge thing that takes 20minutes on the stove, plus another 5 minutes of mixing. I wasn't impressed.
And he really hurt my feelings when he wouldn't let me go to the supermarket. -Which I suspect was only because Nikki said she didn't want to go with us. I have issues with my Dad...a very long list.

So while he was out today, Nikki and I went swimming in next door's pool. We had it all to ourselves and had a great time. It didn't feel too warm out there, but it was hot today. I sunbathed a little, but I think I may have gotten a little burnt...I hope not.
Dad came in when he got back, the guy can never let me and Nic have time just us...but I won't dwell...

After the swimning, I was hungry, due to a lack of breakfast...and the amazing disapearing waffles (breffles) that I was SURE we had another pack of in the cupboard!
I made lunch and watched some of Bad Santa. It was really crappy, so I put on Beauty and the Beast. -Much more interesting. lol.
-In truth I only watched Bad Santa cause of Lauren Graham and the girl that played the little Jordan from Secrets and Lies (season 1 CJ finale).

After that I spent the whole evening on the Sims2. My parents went out, Scott came home and started getting in my way as I was trying to make our dinner. He took the rest of the chocolate milk, which should have been Nikki's too.

Once dinner was FINALLY done, I sat down to watch the new ep of Will and Grace and then Stacked with Charles Mesure in it tonight. -That show is not as bad as I thought it would be...I could possibly watch it again...we'll see.
After that I watched Gilmore Girls....but for some reason Arena (the foxtel channel that it's on) didn't air the end of the ep, but aired the end of an ep of Everwood instead. I don't get it! Weird.

At the start of Will and Grace I totally cracked up and cheered loudly, as Grace was talking about having a 'Coffee Name'. Cause that's what I do! Whenever I got to Starbucks or something and they ask for my name, I always say Lily. We did it at first just for fun, but it sorta stuck, as Lily is easier to understand and spell, at least moreso than Carlie. lol

I watched some Las Vegas and now here I am.

Tomorrow is going to be really REALLY hot. I will probably go swimming again. -Hopefully the pool will not be too crowdered.
No word about my plans for New Years Eve yet. I suppose I better figure it out...
Only 2 more days left of 2005. I am SO not ready for it to be 2006. Yeesh!

A Little Bit Cooler, But A Heck Of A Lot Wetter!

So last night all is good, I managed to get to watch Will and Grace on dvd and then NCIS -normally I have to tape it on the arial and its all fuzzy, but things worked out in my favour last night. :)
But during NCIS, my sister decide to have a bath, she turned on the tap as she was getting out and the water would not turn off again. So the poor thing was in tears, thinking it was all her fault and she wasn't going to get to go to Canberra in Jan. Dad started yelling at her (as usual) and we tried to fix it. It was the hot tap, so they turned off the water and went to Kmart to get stuff to fix it. Mum fixed it late last night, and then they all went to bed.
So that was a little bit of drama we had last night. The pilot light on the heater went out, so there was no hot water till Dad managed to fix it this morning.

Today wasn't nearly as hot as yesterday. Only 27 or something I think.
I watched Providence, then got dressed. -after almost falling asleep on the couch. lol. I was sleepy. I updated stuff on my iPod and put a few more CD's onto it.
Then Nikki and I watched Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star. It's a funny movie. We like it. lol.
Then I watched the rest of the Two Brothers movie, about the Tigers. It was good and had a happy ending, happy endings are good. lol. It also had Guy Pierce in it..which was just odd. I haven't seen him in a movie in yonks. Good Aussie word there. :P

Not much else going on today, I am kinda bored already. Dad is home at the moment, that's kinda annoying. He keeps asking Nikki if she needs anything every 10 minutes. She's 10 years old, she needs to learn to be self sufficient. She is perfectly capable of making her own lunch or getting a glass of water.

Last night I watched Molly, which was really good. Jill Hennessy was in it, she had odd colored hair (for her), I think it was filmed after Chutney Popcorn - cause her hair is kinda blondy in that. It was about a guy who had to look after his autistic sister and was very interesting and drew me in.

Nic and I might watch Toy Story tonight, maybe Hercules. We'll see. I think we are having a BBQ for dinner. I love a good barbie. hehe

Sales, Swimming and DVD's

Today Mum, Nikki and I went to the sales at Chadstone. I decided to skip Providence this morning and sleep in.
We left for the sales about 12 noon-ish...give or take. We ended up driving the crappy blue car, as the 4 wheel drive was playing up. Today it was very hot and supposed to be 35 or something. We waited around out in the sun for a car park for about 10/15 minutes, but got one and all was good. First we went to Myer, and got some cheap Christmas cards and other things for next year. We looked around there and then went to ToysRus and then went to EB games. Mum had stayed at Myer, so I called her when we were done with EB games, but she didn't answer, so we went to JB. There I found Molly, Stand By Me, How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days and Sweet Home Alabama. I almost got Alice in Wonderland, but decided to wait. I also found the Will and Grace Soundtrack. But they didn't have Las Vegas or A Lot Like Love or Michael Buble (Buble in a Bubble), well the ones I wanted anyways. So I will wait to get those. =
Nikki got Mary Poppins and Toy Story.

Mum met us there, after calling me when she couldn't find us...Then we went to Borders. Nikki bought a box of books and then we got icecreams and headed home. It was pretty hot when we got home and so Nikki and I decided to go swimming in next doors pool. The McCraw's were in there, they are ALWAYS in there. Sometimes it gets really annoying, cause they completely take over. Oh well. I stayed for a while, then Scott came in and I left a little while after that.
No one was going to Em's tonight, and I had a transport problem, as Nick nor Lucy were going, so I am not going out tonight....obviously, as I would normally be there by now. lol.

Tonight I am just bumming around I suppose. Not much planned for the rest of the week. Maybe a trip to the movies.

Post Chrissy Day

I will try to make this quick...it's already 10 past 2..in the morning. yipes!

Well Nan and Pop's was good. We got there a bit after noon, my nan gave me my birthday money, and my Christmas money, but I apparently had also won the family tattslotto the night before, so I got that money too! I did well! hehe. -The family tattslotto, is where everyone in the family picks their number when they start school, and then the families put in money each week, and the person whose number comes out as the supplementary number (the last one) gets the money, if no one wins one week, it gets added to the next weeks. Once I won over $150..but that was a long long time ago.

Nikki and I played a couple of games of pool, then we had lunch. My dad's older brother Terry's new girlfriend (well she's not really that new) was there, she seemed nice enough...she's a bit young if you ask me, and also kinda odd, she was somewhat annoying, but not in a bad way or anything, just weirded me out I suppose. I guess I'm not used to the attention..or something. *shrugs*
After lunch we did presents. I got The Wizard of Oz dvd from Maree, and $25 from Terry, and a bucket of M&M's from Alan. Jade, Caitie and Kizza didn't come, they were off at their stepsisters or something, so it was weird being the only grandchildren there.
My Nan won over $1000 at the pokie machines the other week, so we all got extra money this year, which was nice of them. :)

After lunch we sat around, I wanted to go home to get ready, and visit BCA one last time before it closed down. We ended up leaving at about 4:30pm.

At home I said my goodbyes to BCA, since it was closing down yesterday for good. It was really sad to see it go, after visiting it pretty much every day for the last 3 years. It was like a home, but at least I still have my friends. And now we have been chatting on Whedonists.net. Which isn't the same, but it's enough. lol.

Grandma and Grandpa came over just before 7pm. And others started coming after that. Elizabeth brought James, who is okay, but kinda gets on my nerves a little...I don't know why.
Ben brought his new girlfriend Janelle, she seem's nice enough. Kate came later with her new boyfriend Jed, he was a little odd, too quiet or something. I dunno. Mum doesn't like him.
Sarah was back. It was really good to see her. I think I was hanging a little to close to her though, she probably thought I was stalking her. lol. But she's the one out of all my cousins on that side that I actually like, and fit in with. Her and I are sorta the black sheep of the family, we are similar to my Grandma apparently. But it was good to have her visit. She's been in England for the past year, I've missed her. We have never been close, she's the oldest of the grandchildren, being 8 years older than me, but in the last few years I have started to chat to her a little. I guess I just feel sorry for her, her mother, my uncle's wife, isn't overly nice to her, the 2nd child Kate is the favorite and the younger one Elizabeth is also a fave. Sarah is often badmouthed by her mother and I don't think it's right. Sarah has done really well for herself. She's working, she's moved overseas, she's happy. She may not have a guy in her life or she may not end up getting married or anything, but she's out there doing what she wants and thats good.

...Anyways...We did pressies just before dinner (literally) and I got me $20 from John and Maryann and $50 from Grandma and Grandpa. Geoff and Colleen gave Grandma and Grandpa a new cordless phone with an answering machine, it was funny watching Neil try to explain it. He's pretty funny Neil. Always entertaining. :) I do like my Uncles, my mum's brothers and they are all pretty nice to me.

We ate, I ate WAY too much. People started leaving and everyone was gone by midnight. Grandma and Grandpa being the last. I worry about them sometimes, with them driving at night, I know they won't be around for that much longer and I've never lost anyone before, and so it's going to be hard when I do lose them, because I really love them. ....again moving on...

Toffee wouldn't come inside, we kept calling and calling, so I went to sleep thinking he was still outside. -Scott apparently got him in though. But I had a terribly upsetting dream about him. I woke up at 9am to let him inside again.
Then I went back to sleep. I got up a bit after 11am, and me and Nikki watched this movie called Two Brothers, about 2 tigers. We didn't get to see all of it, cause the dvd player stuffed up, but so far it's good. We went down to the school and Nikki practiced her netball with the new netball she got from Alan for Christmas. Then we played the game of life. I rememebered I was going to color my hair, and so I went and did that. It's quite red now. I like it. But I will go back to blond soon I think.
After that Nikki and I went round to post a letter that she wrote to Lucy. Nikki rode and I walked. Then we watched tv and then watched Toy Story 2. I love that movie!! Then I watched Providence that I had taped this morning, and then some of the Friends marathon on foxtel, and then I watched Friday's episode (in the US) of The View.
Now I am here finishing this off. -Its still so weird without BCA. I also have the first 2 eps of NCIS to watch at some point. Hmm.

Tomorrow Mum and I (and maybe Nikki) will probably be going to Chadstone to do some shopping at the Sales. I want to buy a few things.

So This Is Christmas...

And what have I done?

Today I was woken up at about 7ish, but Nikki. Who apparently still believes in Santa...with encouragement from mum. Which was kinda silly, since the only present that was not wrapped was the bike, which was too big to go under the tree. lol.
I got up a little after 8am and then we opened pressies. Nikki gave out her pressies first, I got a Winnie the Pooh book, and then I got some bronzing powder from mum (well everyone in theory I supose :P)
Nikki got a bunch of pressies, though it seemed like there were more when they were just under the tree. hmmm.

Everyone is now in their crazy Christmas moods, the fighting has already started. And of course I get the total blame. Gee I love Christmas time. Not.

So anyways..back to what I was doing earlier...
After we had our big family breakfast, crossants and waffles. It was yummy. We had Christmas crackers, the jokes were lame. lol.
After breakfast (and showering and getting dressed) me and Nikki went outside so she could test our her new bike. We were worried last night that it would be too big, but its not.

Yesterday I was very busy. I went shopping around midday with mum, down to Camberwell. I got Nikki a Christmas present, a colorful piggy bank. It's cute. lol.
Then we went to Safeway, for some last minute things for Christmas dinner tonight. And we got our chickens too.

After we got home, I screencapped A Lot Like Love, well just Kathryn's scenes. I helped Nikki detangle her door hanger curtain thing, and then made Christmas chocolates.
I watched Miracle on 34th Street, the old one made in 1947. It was good, but I am so used to the newer one, that this one made less sense. lol.

Last night after dinner, I watched Gilmore Girls, and then after a little cleaning, we watched Carols By Candlelight. It's on every year, and is made in Melbourne. We keep meaning to go, but never get around to it. Maybe next year ...though I think that's what we said last year.

I went to bed pretty early, well I think it was just before 2am. lol. I am a little tired, but with all the sugar I will have today, I'm sure it will be all good. hehe.

Now we are off to Nan and Pop's for lunch.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays

Too Hot, Too Hot!

Today it got to 36 degrees I believe. It was not overly pleasant. That said, I do love my hot summer weather. I love living in Melbourne, where the weather can change in a heartbeat.
Today I got up, after having maybe 5 hours sleep, I just didn't feel sleepy last night. Nikki was already up and I watched tv and then after I was all dressed and stuff, Nikki and I decided to walk down to Blockbuster before it got too hot. We got down there and we got A Lot Like Love (with Kathryn Hahn from Crossing Jordan in it) and The Perfect Man. We also go some weekly ones too. -Bad Santa (for Scott), Miracle on 34th Street (the original one), Two Brothers (The one about the tigers), Dickie Roberts Child Star, and All I Want For Christmas.

Nic and I got icecreams at the BP on the way home. Dad passed us on the way, I think he had picked up Nikki's bike that she's getting for Christmas. (at least I think she's getting a bike....hmm).
Nikki and I played the Sims2 and then I watched The View, as always. I then decided to sit out on the deck and sunbathe and listen to my iPod. I was out there for about half an hour I think. It was pretty hot, but cloudy.

Later on I watched All I want For Christmas, and then we got dinner and Nikki and I watched The Perfect Man and then I watched A Lot Like Love.

A Lot Like Love was good. and Kathryn was good in it too. She was playing the best friend. She always seems to play the friend. This time she was named Michelle, just like her character in How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days (my fave Kathryn movie) , but she was playing a very different character this time. Not quite as funny as her other roles, but still good. Infact she was probably the closest to Lily (her character on Crossing Jordan). A little nutty and cool, bossy too. You gotta love Kathryn, she's so funny and I really wish someone would give her the lead in one of these movies. Cause she's a great actress, both comedy and drama work for her.

It's now officially Christmas Eve. wow. Only 2 more sleeps (for me) and then it's the big day. We are pretty much ready now I think. Lots of house cleaning to do tomorrow I think, but nothing else major going on. I wanted to go shopping at Chaddy tonight, cause it's 24 hour shopping and it would have been cool to go there at 3am. lol. oh well maybe next year.

Till Tomorrow

Still Overshopped, But Having Fun!

Today was not a so great day, well at the beginning anyways. Lol. There seems to be something out there trying to stop me from hanging out with my friends Elsa and Faith. Today for example, my alarm didn't go off at 8am like it was supposed to, instead I slept in till 10 to 11. Now I was supposed to catch a train at 11:26, of course I missed this train. I got up, showered, figured out what to wear, got ready, and left. I ended up catching not the train after the one I had missed, but the next one. I got there and all was good. Elsa and I browsed and then had lunch before meeting Faith a little later. After I had finished my lunch, Elsa pointed out to me that my nose was bleading! Fun. So I tried to stop that, with the help of a trip to the bathroom... It was quickly taken care of. Then as we were walking to the station, I noticed my bottle of coke in my bag was leaking. Woops. So a few things in my environmentaly safe AGE bag were a little sticky, but luckily Faith's pressie was not ruined. :)

We visited many stores, I bought a little something for my mum. I would have liked to get her something better, but I couldn't find much. I also had NO luck in finding anything for Nikki. Which sucks, but I have promised to take her shopping after Christmas and buy her something then. Oh well.

I got home a bit before 6 and relaxed a little, before Me, Mum, Nikki and Scott went up the street to meet for our annual Street Christmas Carols. We started at no.45 and worked out way around the street. We have been doing these carols for at least 15 years I think. So they are very close to my heart. I also love singing and I love the carols. -Though I think I may make up some new books myself next year, we were a little short of variety this year. Oh well.
Nikki and I had fun playing with the little kids of the street. These kids were 3 and under. The pushy, but adorable Lauren and the hyper, acident prone, but SO cute Harry. I love little kiddies. They were so cute. hehe. -Just incase you didn't get it...the kids were really CUTE! haha.

So that finished at 8pm and then I came home and watched Will and Grace and then some Law and Order, and then an ep of Las Vegas (Season 2). I watched Leno for a little while, and then got on the comp. I have now downloaded the first 2 eps of NCIS. I was supposed to be given the eps, but something happened and then I didn't...
I watched the 3rd ep of Season 2 of Veronica Mars and then went and watched today's ep of The View. I really love that show. They crack me up and they also talk about interesting (and sometimes bizarre) stuff. They also have celebs on and other cool bits and pieces. It's a US show, thats probably one reason I like it so much. lol.

Well thats enough of me for tonight. ooo only 2 more days till Christmas!
It's supposed to be really hot tomorrow. 36 degrees celsius, yeesh!

Nighty Night.

Overshopped!

I was SO exhausted last night, that I didn't feel like posting..but I'll get to that later.
It is now past midnight, making it Thursday instead of Wednesday. I hope to go to bed soonish. I have been feeling extra tired again, but not as bad as before. I no longer fall asleep while I'm watching INTERESTING TV. ...Though that may have something to do with the fact that most of the tv I have been watching is on the computer.

I was given the first 11 eps of season 3 of Las Vegas, and so I have been watching those in the mornings, while my brother has been sleeping in and getting up late. -Which actually works out okay for me, except that I have to do the laundry..but its not really that bad.
I finished the 11th ep today and really do love that show. It's so silly, and just really fun. There is a new ep on the 2nd of Jan, so I will have to download that one, and probably the ones after. I have finished the Crossing Jordan ones I downloaded, the next ep doesn't air in the US till the 8th, so I will have to wait awhile. I was given the first half of Season 2 of Veronica Mars, and I just finished watching the first 2 eps. I like that show. It makes you want to watch the next eps. But I'm not obsessed or anything, I just HAVE to keep watching. lol.

So what have I been up to since Monday?...well lets see...
-Monday night I watched the Michael Buble ep of Las Vegas. He's so funny. lol. I do have a slight obsession with that ep. And the one after it with the camping. I watched that one too. lol.
-Tuesday, I watched 2 more new Las Vegas eps and then bummed around the house and then went shopping in the afternoon. I went to Melbourne Central looking for pressies for peoples. I found a couple and I wrapped them on the train on the way to Em's. It was quite tricky, but I managed well enough. hehe.
-Em's was a lot of fun, lots of people were there...some a little dressy for Christmas, some (HARM) with bunny ears. -But she looked so adorable! lol. We played TCM Scene it. ...I say WE played...but actually, while I was on a team...I didn't really concentrate or participate. and I don't know the answers so yeah. lol. I so need TV SCENE it! That's a little more up my alley.
After the game and dinner (pizza), we did our KK. Elsa had me, I got a fancy Chinese eating set, and a spatula. -If you are a Buffy fan and have seen Homecoming from season 3 you may get the ref...Cordelia found a phone and a spatula, and decided the spatula was more useful. lol.
Oh yeah, the KK was a Jossverse ref thingy. I had Chris. I gave him a little Count Von Count from Seseme Street. -Its a ref to the season 5 ep of Buffy, Buffy vs Dracula...
-After that, we watched Life of the Party. One of Elsa's and my fave eps. Half for sentimental reasons, half cause it rocks! That is where our whole PRESUMALLY thing came from. -Which started last New Years Eve, when after a couple of drinks and lots of sugar, we pretty much quoted the whole ep and said PRESUMALLY......A LOT A LOT! hehe. So that was a lot of fun to watch. Its a great ep.
-Nick drove me home again as always :) and we (and Elsa) chatted about lots of things, including Will and Grace a lot.

When I got home, I watched TV. It was a little after 11 and I found myself watching the repeats of Desperate Housewives. It was a funny one too.
So at a little after 12, I came out and asked my brother if I could use the computer. I had been out since quater to 4 and I needed to do a couple of things before I could go to bed. I was totally drained and exhausted. But he kept saying no and then with me being all tired and emotional, I started yelling. I could hear my brothers music, from my room -even though the dude was wearing headphones. He finally got off (after much more complaining and pleading) just before 1am. I was so ready for sleep, but I did what I had to do and then went to sleep. Finally!
-I ended up having this really odd dream about how I was adopted and I was meeting my birth mother and sister or something. It was kinda weird. -as it would be. duh. lol.

Today I didn't do much. It was Nikki's last day of school for summer break. -Which is only just over a month, which is totally stupid and not fair! But meh. Oh well.
I watched the last 2 Las Vegas eps that I have from Season 3. I played the Game of Life with Nic, then walked down to the letter box, watched some tv and bummed around again.
I also got a package in the mail from the lovely Ella! She sent me lovely things, including a dancing cow pen and a Serenity wristband thingy, and a cute little christmas puppy.

Tomorrow I am going to the city with my girls. Should be fun. Haven't seen Faith in AGES! Nikki is going to the city with Maree, so I will keep an eye out for them. lol.
I downloaded the first 2 eps of NCIS (well I had half of ep one already downloaded) as it will be ages before the dvds come around to me. Oh well. I suppose I really should just wait till tv...but thats no fun. I wanna talk to the others about it!
Speaking of which, I have been writing notes about my thoughts and stuff from watching the new Crossing Jordan and Las Vegas episodes, so that I can share my first thoughts later on when Elsa and the others get to watch them.

Okay thats enough for now I think. Only 3 more days till Christmas! yay....well in theory! :P

Yay It's Sunny!

Wow I totally forgot my post for yesterday. woops. oh well.

So hmm. Saturday night I watched Finding Nemo and then partly listened to the Carols in the Domain, while I played the sims, went on the net and played a game with Nikki. At 10:30 I watched Gilmore Girls and then Will and Grace. Steve Valentine, who plays Nigel Townsend on Crossing Jordan was in the first ep (of the 5), and it was amusing. hehe.

I also spent ages looking for the Christmas lights in the cupboard, but I still haven't found them. I did find a bunch of old cards, photos and even the house plans for our last renovation. So that was helpful. not.

Yesterday I played the Sims2 for most of the day, and then went to Camberwell (Target and Safeway) with mum and Nikki. We bought a lot of the food we need for Christmas Day, we have our special traditional family breakfast just the five of us and then after going to my nan and pop's, Mum's family comes here for dinner. So we need a fair bit of food.
We bought some new, and shinier lights for the house. Which Nikki and I put up last night before dinner. They are iceicle lights and they look great.
Last night I started watching my season 2 Las Vegas dvds which the girls gave me last week. I watched the first 2 eps. Before I went to sleep I read a couple of chapters of my book that Maree gave me (Garden of the Purple Dragon). I really love it.

Today I woke up early, but lay in bed until 9. Nikki hung out my room till she left for school. I got up and watched Providence and then after showering (cause I like to be clean...which I'm sure people appriciate. haha.), I watched 3, yes 3 more eps of Las Vegas on the computer. -These were the season 3 eps that I have been given on a data dvd. I watched the view and then another ep of my season 2 LV dvds. Wow I may be close to a Las Vegas overload soon! lol.

Also today I did the housework. Laundry and dishes. yay fun and exciting...again not really.

Tomorrow I am going into the city early to do some Christmas shopping. Hopefully I will find what I am looking for. *crosses fingers*

Wish Me Luck

Just Over Week Left Till CHRISTMAS!!!

Wow it surely has snuck up on me this year! I still have to get presents for some people. eeek.

I didn't get to post yesterday as when I was on the computer, my sister fell of the trampoline yesterday afternoon and hurt her leg. Dad brought her inside and I was leaning over the half wall and started feeling dizzy and my ears were ringing. And next thing I know, I'm shaking and lying on the floor. I went and lay down and was feeling really sick. I ended up throwing up, and after that i felt better - go figure.

I ate my fish and chips, I wouldn't let myself miss out on the first chance I finally got to have it for the first time in weeks! I also rented The Polar Express and The Wedding Date to watch yesterday afternoon. The Polar Express was okay, it looked pretty. The Wedding Date was good. It was a romantic comedy, and I hadn't seen one in ages!
I ended up going to bed early, and listening to my iPod. I felt much better this morning when I woke up. -after having a dream about my iPod. lol. I think I'm obsessed. hehe.

Today I may or may not put up the Christmas lights. I need to find them first! I've been looking! lol. We are finally doing our Christmas cards and the Sydney Christmas Carols are on tonight, but I dunno if I will watch or not. lol.
Nikki and I might rent a movie instead. We'll see.

Oh and I've been playing the Sims2 again. After not playing it for ages!

Busy and Fun Day!

Okay I have to make this quick..as I am going to watch the View at 1:05am, because I was out all day and missed it.

Today I went to the city with Jacinta. We were going to see Harry Potter, but we ended up seeing The Brothers Grimm. Which was actually pretty good. A little weird, and at times scary/a little icky...but good and funny. lol.
I ran into Kate on my way to the train station, we chatted for a few minutes, she mostly asked what I had been up to and what I was doing over summer. Then I had to leave to go catch my train. I got off Melb Central, and stood around, soon Jacinta called me asking me where I was. I thought we were meeting at the station, and she was up at Hoyts. So I made my way up there and we decided to see the Bros Grimm at 2:20pm. So we went browsing the stores, spending a lot of time in Borders. Then we went and got lunch in the food court. -Maccas. Then we did more browsing and finally went and got out tickets and food and saw the movie.
There was this odd guy that sat right between me and these other girls, he kept laughing really loud and was sorta intrusive on ones personal space in a pretty empty theatre. *shrugs* Actually there was a lot more people there than I thought there would be. Melb Central seems to get a lot of people. Its kinda odd. Probably 'cause of the fact that I usually go to Hoyts at Chadstone, which is semi less popular/central. *shrugs again*

After the movie we walked down to Minotaur and looked around there. -Jacinta bought her brother a christmas pressie and other stuff for herself. I once again didn't get anything, but I wanted too! lol. I LOVE Minotaur!

..minotaur. centaur. minotaur. centaur......
-It's a Crossing Jordan thing...also a me and Elsa thing....lol.

Mum picked me up from the station a little before 6pm and I bummed around all night. We got maccas (again) for dinner. I watched new Will and Grace (which my mother criticised non stop) and then I watched a little Law and Order and then the last 3 eps of Las Vegas on my season 1 dvds. I have started watching the special features. -Those guys are kinda crazy. In a cool way. lol.

Well looks like I am done for now. Ooo and with time to spare! :D

Slow Day = Wednesday

Today I really did nothing. Okay well not NOTHING. Which makes me wonder...how can one do NOTHING. Cause even if someone is standing on the spot not moving or anything...they are still standing on the spot not moving. So I guess the whole NOTHING is really just the lack of something overly interesting or time consuming. For example, if say Jenny Carole worked all week in some stuffy office, and then sat home on the weekend and read or watched tv...that would most likely be considered NOTHING. ....but there really is no nothing, and there never can be nothing, unless you are dead...in which case you are not really doing anything so the whole nothing is just it.
-okay I dunno where that came from...

So back to me and my dad of nothing of great interest.
I got up as usual, though my brother was up by 10. Doh. So I couldn't get on the comp this morning. So after I put out the washing, I watched a few eps of Las Vegas. I then watched the View and some of Touched by an Angel and then another ep of Las Vegas. I am up to the eps I have not seen on foxtel, though I do recognise the eps, I remember them from tv, which I can't remember if I flicked during ads, or watched the whole thing.
Sometime during all this, my brother went out...I didn't hear him leave, even though I was sitting next to the front door and he never said he was going anywhere.
Mum called me and asked if I wanted to go supermarket shopping with her - I did. And so when she got home from work, we went down to Camberwell aka Cambers and went to target and safeway. Target has this really nice bookcase I want. I really should go buy it. I will if it's there next time, cause I REALLY need a bookcase for my room.
Oh well. I will keep saving and keep looking.

After we got home, we had dinner straight away. Scott was home by then, grumpy and annoying as always.
After that I watched NEW Will and Grace on channel 7. I love that show. I was also flicking to the foxtel during the show...it was weird. lol.
Then I watched Most Wanted. Its a movie with Jill Hennessy in it. Elsa bought it for me and gave it over yesterday. Jill was good. Man she plays different characters. I would never call her typecast. This character was very non-Jordanlike.
I seem to be building up a Jill movie collection now. So far I have, Nuremberg, The Kennedy Women, Exit Wounds(taped off tv) and now Most Wanted. I will have to go buy Molly soon. It looks interesting.
After watching that, I watched another ep of LV. The last one on that disc. It was the one with Christian Kane in it. I remember flicking to that one back when it was on tv. I remember the 'teaching him to dance thing' oh and Sam and the eating contest. I love that show! lol I love SO many shows. :D

That was my day. Tomorrow I am going to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with Jacinta in the city. At Hoyts at Melbourne Central. Meeting at 11. So I should get some sleep soon. I gotta look up train times. hmm. Yay more time to listen to my iPod! :D

SO Sleepy!

I got home from Em's just before 11. Its now almost 1am and I am SO exhausted. And as soon as I finish here, I will be heading to bed.

Today I did nothing special, okay well I watched a brand new ep of CJ hot off the torrent download. And I also watched one of the new LV eps that I was given.
When my dad came home he growled at me for not doing the dishes today. -I did the washing and stuff and Scott did nothing. I always get yelled at for not doing things. It is not my responsibility to be the housewife. Scott is here, he uses dishes, he could do some frick'in work around here too. I will be having a conversation with my parents soon, if this keeps happening. It is SO not fair for me to have to do everything around here. No Way NUH UH!

Okay moving on again...
Tonight I caught the train out to Em's. My train was delayed, so I missed the early train from Flinders, so I waited around for the next one at 6pm. I listened to my Ipod, which I am still getting used to. Finally I got out to the brand new station for me for Em's. 3 more stations from where I normally get off. I cannot remember the name...Merlynsomething...lol.
We had fun at Em's. Lots of people came late, and the food took forever!, but we had fun. We chatted A LOT. Me and Harm were rather hyper. The Puppy too. Ooo and Uncle Petey.

After we had watched 3 eps, we sat around and chatted more..and then drew a Kris Kringle/Secret Santa. I just KNEW I would get who I got! I just KNEW it. lol.

Elsa gave me my Christmas present from her and Faithie early. Season 2 of LV on dvd. :)
I have SO many things to watch and SO not enough time to do so. lol. But YAYAY. Me is one happy camper. I really need to do my shopping for people. Hmmm.

Wow I'm out of it. ...I think the sugar, the company and whatever was in that trifle tonight has made me really hyper, and now tired and out of it.

Sweet Dreams

Monday. The Start of a Brand New Week

You know what was really weird today? The fact that when I was reading today's paper this morning, while I was watching Providence on tv, I got totally weirded out and confused that the paper said it was Monday. I swear it felt like Saturday, and Monday was a few days away. lol.
I think this had something do to with the Survivor Finale. Which rocked and I was so happy Danni one. Someone I wanted to win for weeks, actually won. This seems to be my year, especially after Carrie winning American Idol earlier in the year.

Now what did I do today?
Not a lot really. I watched quite a few eps of Las Vegas, including one that I had missed on foxtel and one of my faves for season 1 (I have only seen just over half though...).
In the afternoon I made pikelets for Nikki, cause I was starving and needed something other than bread and was sorta craving cinnamon.

Tonight I saw a new ep of Will and Grace. Big yay. It was good, okay, but not great great. and I missed the end, cause I ran into the lounge room to watch Survivor, which was just about 10 minutes of recap at the start so I could have stayed watching W&G doh!
During Survivior, Toffee tried to climb into the Christmas tree a few times. We had to scare him off. He's trouble that boy. But he's SO cute! I love my kitty!

Elsa asked me if I wanted to meet her in the city for afternoon tea, but it was so hot today and I was just feeling like relaxing and being at home, so I didn't end up going.

But hopefully I will be able to rangle her into coming over here sometime soon.

Well I believe that's all for today. OOo I have a brand new ep of CJ downloading and I have written more of my script now. yay. hehe. Hopefully I will get it finished soon!

Merry Christmas...and a Happy Five Minutes

Today, after only about 6 hours max of sleep, I got up and ready for our family trip to Chadstone Shopping Centre to get our traditional new christmas tree decorations. Scott didn't come, cause he was out last night at some party- who know where...

We looked around at the make up, bags, jewellery and watches, where Nikki got a watch to get for Christmas. Then we headed upstairs to get the decorations. After a long time looking, and after a lot of hurrying from my parents, I picked my decoration. It's a sorta star dangly beaded decoration thingy. -Oh and after at least 14/15 years of picking decorations, it takes me a while to find a nice one, that is different from the others, and is something ME.

Then we headed back downstairs and Nikki and Dad decided to head off to Borders Bookstore to get a calendar for Nic. We were standing at the bottom of the escalators and who should step off them as Nic and Dad were leaving, but Vicky from Browncoats. I called out to her and she stopped for a quick chat. It was kinda weird seeing her there, its odd when worlds colide. hehe.
-Oh yes and we ran into another family friend in Myer too. A mother of a boy in Scott's year and sports clubs.

Mum and I went shoe shopping, and this time I actually found something I liked! YaY! hehe. I got a new pair of white thongs (flip flops :P) and a pair of white sandal-y things.
Nikki and I got icecream at New Zealand IceCream place, -mint choc and cookies and cream. Nic copied me. lol. And after that we headed home.

We put up the decorations and Dad and Mum left me and Nikki to finish that while they went off to Neil and Margaret's for a little gathering for Margaret's birthday. (Neil is mum's 3rd brother)
Once the tree was done, we had lunch and sat around watching tv. Then Mum and Dad finally came home and them and Nikki went down to the school for her Netball presentation night. She got a shiny new trophy. -I want a trophy! lol.

Tonight Scott decided to be an ass and when I had opened files on the comp and then taken stuff to my room, he closed them down and took it over. Now I threw up a fuss, cause I wanted to get on early and watch tv for a little while after I was done. But more importantly, because of the fact that I was on it and that he stole it and got out of everything I had opened. This ended up causing a huge fight, because no-one will make my brother stop anything or give anything up. He gets what he wants and takes it too, and I get made out to be the bad guy and get the blame, because I am fighting for fairness and my rights. This happens all the time. My parents have a fight, my dad blames me. Man this can drive me close to the edge sometimes. Though I am so used to it now, that I sorta rolls off my back a little...but it still hurts somewhat.

....okay depressed, angry chatter now overwith.

I don't know what I have planned for tomorrow...Sometime this week I am supposed to go to the city with Faith and Elsa, and also to the movies with Jacinta...that is if we can decide on something to see...hmmm. I better get looking.

Fun Fun Fun, Till Her Daddy Takes Her T-Bird Away....

okay I have that song in my head all week. Actually, I've had a few Beach Boys songs in my head lately.

So today was a big BCA meet at the Redback on Flemington Rd...well okay the turnout was small, but its about QUALITY, not quantity. And Quality there was indeed!
We had fun, sat around, drank a little (soft drink in my case, rasberry - Yummy!), ate a little, and chatted and were silly. Lol. We had a good time, there were quite a few pics taken. -None by me though, cause my camera is out of action at the moment. I SO need to get a digital one!
-See the piccie of Me, Harm and Blue. Ain't we cute! lol.

The very last thing we were doing was trying to solve a crossword puzzle. -Yes, we were at a pub on a saturday afternoon...doing a crossword puzzle. lol. We were close to finishing it too, but there were a couple of things which left the whole group clueless. hehe.

Elsa and I caught the tram back to Flinders Street, and she ran into some ticket inspector troubles, but that got sorted. Then we said our goodbyes and I caught my train home and sat around watching tv all night. lol.

I watched Surivior after Gilmore Girls and a few eps of Will and Grace. So far my 2 faves are still in it, so that makes me happy. lol. I would be rather annoyed if Lydia or Rafe won. I like Steph and Dani. lol.
OOo and then I watched 2 eps of Las Vegas on my new dvds.

We got our Christmas tree today, it smells lovely! I love the smell of Christmas trees. I walked into my house this arvo to the smell and it sends me back to when we used to go to this park for my Grandmother's side of the family's little Christmas gathering, we call it the 'Smith Family', cause my grandmother's maiden name is Smith. And anyways...we always used to go to this park out past Mount Waverley and the park was full of Pine Trees and so now my living room smells like the park and I love it. :)
We used to have a real tree when I was little, but not like this one, this one is big and bushy and full and just pretty. lol. The last few years we have had a fake one, which I think was only JUST taller than me, and thats pretty damm tiny...I'm only 5"2. hehe.
I think we are going shopping for Christmas decorations tomorrow and then we will decorate it :)
I will have to remember to get around to putting up the lights on our house this week too.

Well I'm off. Gotta get up early in the morning to go shopping. Wah. I wanted to sleep in. OH well. Maybe during the week. hehe.

Arrivederci!

Another Week Over and Out

Today I was exhausted. I woke up when Nikki left for school, and then fell back to sleep....I was going to set the alarm so that I would get up in time to watch Providence, but I didn't. And then I woke up after having an interesting dream with old friends in it, just before 10. I read the clock as almost 9 and rushed into the lounge room to watch it and then realised I was an hour late. Oops.

So I went about getting going, and did the laundry and put it out and then set myself in to watch Man in Blue. The most recent ep of Crossing Jordan. It was good ep. -as the all are.
This now puts me up to date with the US. Which is really really weird! I suddenly can look at all these sites again. its SO strange. lol. And now I have to wait till at least Tuesday for another new ep to watch.

Tonight I baby sat and after putting up a small fuss about my ruined plans for tonight, mum went and got me Macca's for dinner, instead of old bread. I ended up getting a lift around to my babysitting job and it was good, fine. We watched tv and played Simpsons Monopoly. I won. lol. I somehow managed to convince the 10 year old I was playing against to buy a property for $401 dollars.(instead of 150 or something) that was funny. lol.
Once they went to bed I listend to music and half watched movies. I got home just before 12:30 and got paid very well. I dunno what I will do with the money yet. I may hold onto it.

Looks like I'm going out tomorrow. A BCA meet in the city. Then its back home to watch Gilmore Girls and Will and Grace on tv. yay. Nice and relaxing.....I HOPE!

Sleep. What is it, Where Can I find it, and How Much Does it Cost?

I really gotta learn to sleep. I am back on the caffine again, which is not good for my stomach, or me at all really. This whole getting up early thing is just not working for me. Well I like getting up early (okay early being between 8-9am..which isn't really early persay...), so I think the problem is that I am not going to bed.
Every night when I sit down to watch tv, I feel SO tired and I cannot focus or concentrate on what is going on. Which is why I drink coffee at 8:30 and then cannot sleep at 12. Not that I could sleep earlier if I didn't drink coffee. I just cannot sleep before 12 anymore. Actually I haven't been able to sleep before 12 for years now. Something I will have to work on in the new year.

God. I can't believe its almost 2006 already. Where did the year go? I'd say its probably just me growing up, but other people older than me are saying the same thing, so maybe its just our lives, our social society that makes the year go so quickly. We can't simply no nothing, even when you are watching tv, you are still doing something. And we fill our time with everything that it just runs out. Its a scary thought. -I dunno where this came from, probably the cafffine. lol. I will try and keep my philosophical discussions to a minimum, I promise. hehe.

So what exactly did *I* do today? I got up, watched tv....then I watched tv on the computer...then I watched more tv, and then again MORE TV. Seriously all I did was watch tv and dvds today.
Okay so I did go down to Nikki's school - which is a whole 3 houses away..., for a christmas stall, which was really crappy, and not overly impressive. And I put a few more cds onto my iPod.

Oh and now I have to baby sit tomorrow night. I had my whole night planned, I was gonna go rent movies, and eat fish and chips. I have been planning this for weeks, I was going to rent 'The Polar Express', cause I've been out the last 2 friday nights. I was really looking forward to a nice quiet relaxing night at HOME. But no. Roz, mother of Nicole's friend Laura, who we have known for years and years now, asked me to babysit. And I will not get the family dinner, cause mum will be home lateish and Scott will be off playing soccer. GRRRRRR.
Okay next week. I am doing NOTHING but watching 'The Polar Express' and eating fish and chips. ....though I may or may not being going to Oendrila's birthday get together at a pub. I know I really should get together with my old highschool friends, but we are just such different people now. And I just don't fit with them overly well. I also just can't be bothered anymore...but I really should try and make an effort. - I will think about it.

Today I watched 3, yes 3 more eps of Crossing Jordan. I am really loving the new season. I have not rewatched a whole ep yet, but I have been going back and watching my fave parts. And I have been writing down my fave things and my opinions and comments of the eps in a word doc, for reference when it comes on normal tv, so that I can discuss it with my aussie friends.

Another Day, Another 5 cents

...or another day of doing everything and nothing.

Today I watched A LOT of tv. I watched my usual Providence. - After getting up at 10 past 8 to help my sister with breakfast.
After that I put on the washing, and sat down to watch 2 more eps of Crossing Jordan. Both GREAT GREAT eps. -Its a really really great season this year.
Then I watched the View, and half watched Touched by an Angel, while playing with the dvd burning program on my computer. I am trying to decided whether to put all the downloaded eps on to dvds that are playable on my dvd play...or just to burn them onto a data dvd that I can play on the comp, as I will be taping all the eps anyways when they come on next year... I guess it will depend how my finances are.

With my mum at work now, its just me and Scott, which worked out great today, he slept in till almost 12 (or possibly just after). I did the laundry, opened all the curtains, helped Nikki get ready for school and washed the dishes. - I am saying it's Scott's turn for dishes tomorrow...but i know he won't do it. Its SO not fair.
Oh well. I will just do what I can.

Tonight I watched 2 more eps of Sliders and then started with my Las Vegas dvds. I watched 2 eps of that.

I am now putting more cds onto my iPod. Slowly getting through them.
Got nothing else planned for the week. May meet up with Jacinta next week, maybe see my girls sometime soon. Its been a little while. There will be more tv (and computer ep) watching I am sure. I may rent a movie Friday night. I'll see how it goes.

Ciao

Thats It, Thats All, Had Fun, Had a Ball

Today was my last EVER trip to the Royal Children's Hospital for check ups. Now that I am 20, and it has been 10 years since I went into remission, they are kicking me out and sending me off to Peter MacCallum for my annual check ups. :D This is very exciting, but also was really sad. I have been ready each time for it to be my last trip there, for a few years now, but last year they told me that this years visit would be my last. I did good today, I got slightly reminissy...and a little sad, not tears or anything which was good. lol. I saw Dr Tiederman for the last time, bought stickers from the gift shop for the last time, had Maccas after my check up for the last time(well at that place anyways... :P)... I am glad to be moving on, especially to a place for grown ups. I have felt too old for that place for years now. Well here is to memories, both good and bad of the past and to the future, whatever it may bring. Also my Doc said that I am cured. Which is a scary thought, and also a great one. I will never feel completely free, there will always be this little thought in the back of my mind that it will come back, or that something else will happen... thats just what Today was my last EVER trip to the Royal Children's Hospital for check ups. So far its working out okay.

Okays and onto other more interesting topics, and much less deep....
Today I was out of the hospital by 11:30 and we were home at 12...which was freaky, that NEVER happens. -Though we didn't have any tests or anything...

I taped Providence and Law and Order while I was out. I watched Law and Order tonight, and it was a Jill ep, so I was happy(I saw her on it yesterday and almost freaked out :P) and so I watched it and I guessed early on that it was the ep where her character dies. And it was. lol. It was just kinda freaky that way. I knew the ep sounded like an important and good one, and I guess I was right. lol.
I also watched another ep of Sliders.

My iPod came today. So I have spent the afternoon and evening putting music onto it(and videos too). I have put a few CDs onto it so far. I will put heaps more on tomorrow probably.

I also hope to start watching my Las Vegas dvds soon. But with all these great shows being on Foxtel at the moment, its hard to find time to watch them :(

My Mother also has a new job, which starts tomorrow. That leaves my brother and I home together for the whole holidays. Doh. Oh well. And Nikki finishes school on the 21st of December. Which if you ask me sucks. They finish school on the Wednesday, and Christmas is on the Sunday. The girl barely gets a month of holidays! *shrugs* I am SO glad I am not in Primary School anymore.

Jacinta and I might be movie-ing it next week. I dunno what we could see yet, but we will look. lol.

Shopping Fun

Woo! I seem to be back into the swing of things, specifically into writing a new post each day at the moment. yay! hehe.

So what's new with me? Not a lot really. But I have been busy today.
Nikki had the day off from school, so me, mum and Nic decided to go down to Southland and stop at the American foods store on the way. We left around 11:30am....after I almost had a heart attack from seeing Jill Hennessy in an ep of Law and Order, which I was not really watching(I was just seetting my tape for The View and Touched By an Angel) and so I got very excited when I saw her. lol. It was the first time I had actually seen her in it(and I didn't get to watch it for long), it was kinda weird. She looked so...funny. lol. The hair and the clothes...just ....bad. lol. -okay well not BAD, but just really stranged and not quite right. lol.

Anyways...

So we set off for the day, stopping at Scott's school (Camberwell High) to drop in something there, before driving down to the American Food Store in Bentleigh. I drove.
Its a great store, there are lots of things to choose from. I got S'mores Pop Tarts, a box of Cheerios, Jujy Fruits(jujubes), and Nikki and I got S'mores bars and Mum got York mint patties. Oh and Nic got a tootsie roll too. All good stuff. :P

After that we drove to Southland, after finding a park(with not too much dificulty), we walked around. We stopped at a shoe shop and after trying on a few pairs, I had no luck. But Mum and Nikki found nice shoes for them. I hate shoes. Well I love shoes, I just hate my feet, cause they don't fit any of the nice shoes. :(
We walked around and looked in many more stores. We got lunch in the food court and then looked at more shops. We were just about to leave, but then Nic and I spotted a JB HIFI, which must have been new (They were still working inside) . So we went in and I browsed and found the new Las Vegas dvds. I got Season 1, I did more browsing while Mum went off to take a phone call. I almost bought Stand by Me, but I decided I would wait, I did get a set of blank dvds though.
The Las Vegas dvds are very shiny. They are in one of those box things, instead of a proper plastic case, which may become annoying, but for now its all very cool. Me is happy. lol.
I also saw the Soundtrack, I will keep an eye out for that one later.

After that we finally were done and we headed home. We had a brief encouter with a jackass in his truck, who decided to have a go at us and then cut us off. grr. He also hadn't seemed to have learned of this new fangled thing called an INDICATOR. *shrugs*. hehe

By the time we got home, I had a really bad headache, and then Mum, Nic and I went to the supermarket. I spent the evening watching tv. Nic and I watched another ep of Sliders and ate our S'mores bars. They were good. Yummy.

I now have 7 eps of Crossing Jordan downloaded. I just hope I will be able to find time to watch the next 5 sometime soon. I am fussy, and want the house almost to myself to watch them, which is tricky this time of year. Oh well. It will happen eventually.

Enough for now. Tomorrow I am going to the Children's Hospital for my very last trip there. It will be very sad for it to all be over and to have to get a new hospital and new doctors and all. But most importantly I will miss the place and the people. I have a lot of bad memories of that place, but also a lot of good ones. Its like a 2nd home to me and I just hope I don't get too emotional about it tomorrw.

Start of a Brand New Week

Hmm for some reason I keep thinking today is monday, or rather that yesterday was sunday... ood. lol

Today I did bugger all again. Lol. I sat around and watched tv mostly. I read a few more chapters of Garden of the Purple Dragon, that Maree gave me for my birthday. It's a great book. I am enjoying reading it. I also watched Philidelphia tonight with mum. I had never seen it before and was glad foxtel was showing it. It was a good movie. Sad, but good.

Nikki and Mum and Dad went off to some dinner for her netball team tonight, she seemed to have a nice time. She came home and was rambling on about how there was some guy there talking about tv and stuff and she asked him if he watched Crossing Jordan. When he said yes, she then apparently asked him who his fave character was. Nigel. She then had to ask him if he liked Woody, apparenty he said "yeah sorta" (or something to that effect).
Man I'm a bad influence on my sister. Yeesh. Oh well.

Tomorrow Mum, Nikki and I are going down to the American Food Shop in Bentleigh and to Southland. We haven't been down there in ages.

Toodles

Sleepy Sundays

Today I slept in till 12. It was good. I needed the sleep. And I had 2 odd dreams during the night. One was about me and my sister I think, the other was about me, Elsa, Elsa's mum Karen and Lucy/Blue. We were shopping. lol.

I spent the arvo sitting on the comp playing a trial version of Zoo Tycoon 2. I used to have the first one, but it got scratched and hasn't worked for years now. My sis and I might get it for Chrissy.
On the topic of Christmas, my mum spent the afternoon pulling out the Christmas ornaments and non tree decorations. I dunno when we are going to get our tree. We are getting a real one this year. We also will have to go for our big Chrissy decoration shop soon. Every year, we all go to Myer (or David Jones, or Kmart as we have done once or twice) and each of us pick a new ornament for the year.
Now over the last few years, while I have been growing up, I have decided that I am a Christian or some sort. I have had religious influence my whole life, though our neighbors, and through primary school etc. While I was never Christened, I was semi raised by my mother (my dad is a lapsed Catholic and his dad pulled them out of the Catholic church and school when he was younger), not overly religious, but not anti God. I went to Church a few times with my neighbors, and to a Church holiday program once too. So I do get into the true part of Christmas, as well as the whole modern idea of Christmas, which is the ritual my family have created, the family lunch and watching the carols. etc.

Okay moving on from religion, Gilmore Girls FINALLY came back on tv tonight, its been off for almost a year. stupid nine. lol. Unfortunately, my family as usual would not be quiet and were making extra noise ALL night. It was very annoying after the first few hours.

I will go to bed soon and then sleep in late tomorrow too. yay.

Browncoat Blast

Tonight I went over to Brett's place for a BBQ and a little get together with the Browncoat gang. The cool group anyways. lol.
Ness, Vicky, Steph and a few of Brett's friends where there. We sat around and chatted all night really. We ate way too much chocolate, specifically me and Ness ate too many m&m's. At one point my tongue turned blue. lol.
We chatted about all different kinds of things, like tv shows, and then old tv shows that we loved as kids, toys as kids, school stuff, camps, early memories, etc. It was really nice to be talking about non-tv stuff for a change, or for something different. It was nice to know that we are not totally tv obsessed, that there are still other things in life we can talk about.
It was nice to see them again and we are hoping to plan something else soon. They are a fun bunch to hang out with.

Today I didn't do much(as is my usual for this week. lol), I watched tv. I watched the first ep of Touched by an Angel. It was kinda odd cause the credits after the main credits...were in french. So I spent most of the ep wondering why they were in french. lol.

I am kinda sleepy now...but not. I will go to bed soonish I think- lol. I always say that and I always end up staying up later. *sigh*
At least I can sleep in late tomorrow. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hot and Sleepy

Its now 5 minutes past midnight as I am writing this, making it the 2nd of December. My golly, where did the year go? It seems to have vanished is a cloud of smoke or something. Its scary how fast time is flying the older I get. Then again, its not just me, every seems to be saying how fast time is flying. *shrugs*

Well what have I been up to? Not a lot really. I have really enjoyed having free time this week to do nothing stuff, like watching tv and exploring the internet. Oh and then there was the occaisional supermarket shop.

Last night I started watching my shiny new Sliders dvds that I got from my lovely friends for my birthday. My one problem with watching tv at night now is that I get SO sleepy! I can't concentrate. So I may have to start watching them during the day.

Today my mother let me order my birthday present. I had to wait till she had the money on her credit card. I am getting the new Ipod with video for my birthday AND Christmas. But its worth it. I need something new to play my music on, especially on the train and it will also be cool to have videos on it too. That will come next week hopefully...or the week after.

It was really warm here today, and now the house is really hot. I am also tired all the time. I can't wait till the weekend so that I can sleep.
Going to Brett's tomorrow night for a BBQ with some people. -Actually I don't know how many people there are going to end up being there, but I'm sure it'll be fun. :D

Ciao

Jibber Jabber

-Just a short little post, cause I felt like posting right now.
lol.

So today I watched the crossover eps of Crossing Jordan and Las Vegas. I could have died. And I just KNOW Elsa will die when she sees them next year. (or earlier if she decides to get them off me).

Computers are both the greatest thing and the most evil thing in the world. I am so happy to have been able to download episodes and stuff early. But they can drive you crazy sometimes, when they don't co-operate.

I also am still feeling really tired. Hopefully it will go away soon. I plan to sleep in lateish saturday and sunday.

Also last night my foot was living in my mouth...although I don't really remember what I was saying. Was just one of those days I guess. hehe.

Terrific Tuesday

Tuesday is always one of the best days of my week. Mostly cause we get to go to Em's house and I get to play with all my friends. hehe. Its called 'Angelfests', but we actually very rarely watch any Angel anymore. We usually watch Buffy.
Tonoight appart from the usual, we had many a special guest. Some people I had met before, some I had not. All were cool..though some in a weird way.
Kaiser rocks. We like him a lot. No particular reason. He's just cool. hehe.
Harm is adorable, and while a regular, she's always a little ball of sunshine. *snuggles*
Then the was this guy Ben, who I have heard of, and half remember from BCA...but yeah I didn't know him and while cool...he's a little strange. Which I like and can definately handle. -Plus its nice to have someone else to do the crazy stupid(in a good way) conversations. lol.
Going to Em's is a hoot. We sit around, eat dinner, watch eps, chat etc.
Tonight I got me some pressies. Which was nice. Pressies are always good. In particular I did love the 'Jewely stick' hehe. I could try and explain it too you...but you'd probably get confused and weirded out...so it's probably safer if I don't :P
We got Chinese food for dinner and we watched an ep of Buffy from season 7. We were only half paying attention as usual. After that we all hang around the kitchen and were chatting, they sang happy birthday to me, and after I got grilled by a few people about my birthday, most of them went and watched Firefly. While a few of us hung around the kitchen and did more chatting. It was odd for me to not be the one chatting so much. I love our gang. hehe.

Hmm. Now what else have I done today? I was mostly watching tv I think. Very exciting stuff!
Mum and I went supermarket shopping, and left the first supermarket after mum got into a squabble in the car park and then was driving like a crazy person.

After I got home from Em's I watched another ep of CJ and then have pretty much been sitting here. Oh and I wrote another scene(or a set of connecting scenes) for my script. Its getting closer to being done. yay!

Happy Birthday to Me

Yep its my 20th Birthday. And its almost over. Infact I may well be by the time I finish writing up this post. hehe POST. -for some reason that word has been causing me some amusement lately. *shrugs*

So what did I do on my very important aniversary of my birth? Pretty much a big zippo. Hehe...well sorta. I got up, woke up my sister and mother who had slept in late. I then did morning stuff and then sat down to watch Providence again. And then flicked channels, before putting on the washing and doing usual net stuff.
Once I was done with that and since mum was at canteen and Scott was still asleep, I sat here at my computer and watched the season 3 premire of Las Vegas, which I had downloaded. It was good and exciting. The first time I had downloaded a show instead of waiting for the new season to come back to normal tv. I enjoyed it very much.
After that I put out the washed washing and then sat down to watch the season 5 premire of Crossing Jordan. I LOVED it and I HATED it! It was really really well done on all counts. I will not say anymore in the case that someone who does not want to know something reads this. I'm being good about not spoiling anyone.
I then watched ep 2 of LV and it was also very good, though maybe not as good as ep 1. I can't wait till I get a chance to watch the crossover eps. Hopefully I will get my chance Wednesday morning. *crosses fingers*

Mum came home in the middle of CJ and then left to go to her market research session (after I had found her keys for her). Mum came home about 2ish and I was watching tv.
The battery was dead on Dad's car and he wanted her to fix it today. He's such an ass sometimes. So Mum eventually called the RACV and they came and replaced the battery and it works now I think. After that Mum and Nikki went to buy me a cake.
Grandma dropped in late in the afternoon and gave me a card and some money for my birthday. After Grandma left, we went to dinner at Sophia's in Camberwell. Its an Italian restaurant. Very yummy pizzas. Unfortunately Kirsten from high school and her family came in a little after us and Mum kept pressuring me to go say hi. I said I would as we were leaving, since I hadn't talked to Kirsten in ages and didn't really want to. We were not really that friendly in the last year of high school, let alone after. So anyways...after dinner as we were leaving, we said hi and had a mini chat. I was glad to finally get away. You shouldn't have to speak to people you do not want to on your birthday imo.

When we got home, I watched tv and waited until Mum said we could have cake. At just before 8:30pm the cake came out and my little sister played Happy Birthday on her violin. I love her violin. I always wanted to play. The cake was very yummy. Mum and lil sis did good choosing it!

I have been really tired lately and I don't know why, so I had a coffee and sat down and watched an ep of CJ from my tapes and flicked channels on foxtel. That was my day.
Oh yes. I got many birthday wishes from my good friends, they are lovely people. And I got a card from my parents. My present is still in the works I think. I believe I am getting an Ipod, but my parents haven't had the money on their credit cards yet. So I am still waiting. But I'm kinda not in a really birthday-ey mood. I don't like this growing up thing. Someone make it stop. Wow. It looks like I really am becoming a grown up. Damm.
Oh and look its still my birthday. I was wrong. hehe

I'm FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE - Part 2

Okay and now for part 2. hehe.

I'm still kinda tired, but I did get a really decent sleep last night which I really needed. I didn't get up until just after 12.

So yeah lets finish my exciting tale of my busy few days shall we....and in the case that you answered no to the last comment....go away. :P

anyhooo.
Lets pick up where friday left off....
I got up and sat and watched Providence on the shiny new foxtel. - very exciting stuff. hehe. I then wasted a bit of time flicking - so not really a waste of time, but it was when I had planned to leave kinda early. I eventually got going and printed out my report and packed up all my stuff for the day and toddled off to train station, did the usual change train, chain train, walk thing. And dropped my (really heavy) forensic books back at the library and popped in the report and then (after a little waiting at the station) caught my train into the city. I waited around and bought cookies. Soon Faithie showed up and then Elsa too. We did shopping for Ella (its her birthday this week too) and then had lunch at Red Rooster. It was good...untill we were leaving and I banged my arm into a handle on the stairs, that hurt. OWW! We went and looked at the new shiny Myer Christmas Windows and almost freaked out about some of the stuff they had there...like babies with heads falling off....and creepy people, or should I say CREEPY Creepy Creepy. hehe.
We then did a little more shopping and were looking at all these cool books in the bookstore(like where else would we be really?! :P) and then it was time for me get going and I signed the card and then the girls walked me to the station. I waited and waited and finally (after having to change platforms, because something was all messed up at Flinders st) I got on my train home. I was really hot and my feet were quite quite sore. I walked home and plonked myself down on the couch downstairs and turned on the AC.

Then I started getting ready to go out. I had a cool shower and ate and organised all the stuff, such as snacks and the tape for Survivor (and organising my sister to tape it on said tape too). Marg picked me up at 5:30 and we drove over to Nunawading where we were to be working. We were a little early, but it worked out good as we beat the crowd to sign in and were able to get a couch to sit on. There were 2 groups and we waited around for ages for something to happen, the other group went into this room with nice tables and chairs etc. We thought we had the dud one. But finally our group was called in and we were in the really nice room, the council room I think, and we sat around till about 8 before we finally got started with the process. There was envelopes to separate and ballot papers to look at etc. We didn't finish till 11:15 and Marg drove me home as Mum had finished early and she said she would. -Marg kept trying get me to talk to all the young guys around. *sighs*. lol. We stopped at Maccas in Burwood(y) on the way home as we were STARVING. I got home about 12 and wasn't really tired so I just sat around in bed for a while. I fell asleep a little after 1am I think.

I got up at 6:30 and got all ready again. Dad drove me and Scott over, and Mum was working somewhere else. We were in different groups and I was in the same place as Friday night. We got going pretty much straight away and my group was finished at 11:30. Grrr. Scott's group still had ages to go, and Dad refused to come and get me. grrrr again. So I walked over to Harvey Norman and looked around and then I went to Bunnings as I still had heaps of time.
I went back to the place and sat for about 10 minutes until Scott was finally done. Dad was there then and we finally got to go home.

I spent the arvo on the comp and watching tv. I then got into a big fight with Scott cause he wouldn't let me watch tv, which with me being really tired and also excited made for trouble. I eventually got the room back and I continued my big planned night of fun tv watching. I got to see Miguel's ep (Garret from Crossing Jordan for those who care) of Will and Grace and then I sat on the comp and watched the last 2 eps of Veronica Mars. There was a good amount of 'OOOOOOing' and 'eeeeeeeeing'. Finales I like that.

Today I went to Chadstone with mum. We browsed and we shopped. She bought me a t-shirt at myer and we bought a few other things too. We went for drinks at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. My drink was good. I got one of those ice-blends, Mum got grumpy cause a guy was in her way and made her spill some of her coffee.

I was driving and we stopped in at Safeway on the way home and then I read the first chapter of 'Garden of the Purple Dragon' which is the sequel to 'Dragonkeeper' by Carole Wilkinson, Maree lent me Dragonkeeper earlier in the year and she bought me the sequal (which I asked for) for my b'day.
Oh yes. That's right. It's my birthday tomorrow. The big 2-0. Hehe. No more teen years. hmmm. Scary.

Well time to go.

I'm FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Wow its been a long couple of days. Busy too!

I may write this in 2 parts and finish the 2nd one off Sunday arvo....I'm kinda already exhausted.

So my classes are all over and now my assignments are all handed in. I have no idea if any of them are any good...but I'm sorta past caring at this minute. I know I have passed the year and right now thats kinda what I care about. I am SO glad I am on holidays now, though it feels a little odd there not being something I should do! lol

So here's my last few days in a somewhat biggish nutshell-
Wednesday I slept in a little, got up and roamed the net for a little while before getting started on the proper writing of my report. It took me a while to get it going and I ended up getting most of it done that afternoon. I probably would have finished...but I was talking to Elsa on the phone and we were chatting and organising her to come over later that arvo. I got a bit more done after that and then let the rest of the house have the comp. I walked down to Burwood (or Burwoody :P) station to meet Elsa and then we hung out for the night. After dinner we watched Crossing Jordan, Strangled to be specific. We laughed so hard and had a ball. There is some something about watching some things with people that don't care if you talk right through it and spending the whole time laughing or rewinding and discussing stuff thats going on in the ep (and stuff thats related). Its just too fun. hehe.
We also watched Will and Grace and did a bit of channel flicking before spending a decent amount of time on the comp. I showed her all the stuff that she hadn't been able to see cause her comp is all broked and tempermental.

We got to bed a little after half past 12 and then chatted for a few hours, before finally falling asleep. I woke up at 6:30 and let her sleep while I went off and showered. I was hanging out with Nikki watching tv till a little after 8, when Toffee decided to go crazy in my room and I woke Elsa up. Nic went off to school and we made breaky and sat around.
The foxtel man came a little after 10 and we just hung around keeping an eye on him. Mostly looking at old photos and also this 'mini pops' book, with little pixelated people and we were trying to guess who they were. Its a cool little book. The foxtel was all done just before 12 and the guy left us to explore our new foxtel digital. It was very exciting. We flicked and flicked somemore and watched a few different things and ofcourse spent more time on the computer. hehe.

I walked Elsa to the station around 4, after we watched a bit of Angel on foxtel (cause it was on) and then came home and did a little more work for my report and watched tv. I was really really tired and ended up having 3 coffees, one during Will and Grace(or possibly Law and Order) and another one during Gilmore Girls. I got on the comp for a littlewhile at 10:30, I finished off my report and was in bed by about 12(ish) I think. I had a semi early start Friday.

Well I'm nodding off here...I will continue the story of my really busy (and tiring) few days later on. So good night little non-corporeal journal and non-existant person who all my thoughts and activities are directed to. Hope its happy there in the world that is my brain. lol

...yep. Definately bedtime.

NO MORE SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Well sorta....
Today was my last class and I handed in 2 of my last assignments. I now only have 1 left, which I just have to drop in on friday.
yay.

Today I went off to class, about 7 people turned up, we presented our presentations and gave in our essays, then watched some more of a video. ...there was some guy in it that looked a lot like Brett. LOL.

After class a couple of us went to chapel street for coffees(or hot chocolates in my case, and Kelly's). Me, Stewart, Kelly, Crestina and Elenor. Man that girl's got issues, I am so glad i will probably never have to see her again. *crosses fingers* here's hoping! hehe. She's drives me nuts, she doesn't like me and meh, I am definately NOT her biggest fan. One regret I have for the year is that I didn't get a chance to tell her off. dang.

anyways...Enough of my bitchy meaness...

After going for coffees, I went to the library at campus and did a little research for my report and chatted on BCA. At about 5pm, I packed up and headed off for the station. I got into the city at about 5:30ish(maybe a little after) and waiting for my train to Em's. -There was some weird lady that sat next to me and she was falling asleep and rocking....I was worried that she'd fall asleep on me! She ended up moving. There's some strange people out there....

Em's was a lot of fun, Kais was there, which is always fun. We ate yummy food(I was rather full) and then after watching an ep of Buffy, we played Turner Classic Movies Scene It. Harm and Elsa were on my team. 'Team Scoobs'. We did not win. :(
hehe, but we had fun, which is the main idea anyways.

I got home and watched an ep of CJ, and bummed around, chatted to Faithie on msn and looked at stuff on the net...Pretty much the usual(though Faith is not usually online...). I watched another ep of VM. Only 2 left of season 1 now. Nick said he'd give me season 2. So yay.

Tomorrow I gotta write this gorram report. I so cannot wait to have it all DONE! I am SO over it. I want my holidays man!

Not My Happiest Mood

Today was just another monday, same old same old. I got up at 7am, the sun was brightly shining into my east facing bedroom and I did my normal morning routine. I left for the station around 20 past 8 and got there with 6 whole minutes to spare. I sat on the train listening to my music as usual. Today it was the first disc of the Buffy cd that Nick made up ages ago. I also think my headphones are broken again...I do not have good luck with headphones this year, they are all breaking on me. Got to class, a total of 6 of us showed up, we watched most of GoodBye Lenin and then Jacinta and Eleanor did their presentations and class was done. Jacinta and I went off to have lunch at the food court and we got thickshakes from the juice bar and read magazines. I decided to buy TV Week, cause it had a bunch of stuff I wanted to read in it and I haven't bought a magazine in months....possibly all year(not counting the Empire Mag with the Serenity dvd)
After that we went and hung out in JB HIFI for a while. We had to hang around until 1:30 so that we could see Steve about our assignments. He wants to see everyone each week, I had only gone 1 week so far...which is probably a more than SOME people...but anyhooo..

We got back to campus and sat around waiting for Steve to return to his office...man he drives me nuts. He's a pain in the ass. I showed him what I had done...which was not much since I have been spending all my time finishing all the other assignments due lately. and he wasn't overly impressed. *shrugs* I couldn't care less at this point. I just can't wait to get it all over and done with for the year.
I will do my presentation and hand in my essay for Lufe tomorrow and then thats all the classes done, and I will tottle along on friday and drop in my report for Steve and he can kiss my ass if he thinks its not good enough. grrrr

I got home today, after walking home from the station and was not in a good mood by then. Scott was on the comp and wouldn't let me on, even though I have said that I need to spend time finishing off my assignments and after a whole lot of nagging, he finally let me on. I then had to go put out the washing, which he had not been able to do...cause he's a lazy pain in the ass. It was one of those days I think. He also couldn't be bothered washing the dishes(he wouldn't look hard enough for the plug..). I finished off my media folio and essay and then grumbled to Mum when she got home, and not at all surprising...she DIDN'T yell at Scott about his lack of doing stuff. Which drives me crazy, because when I am home all day, and even when I working on assignments, she yells at me if I do not put out the washing or do the dishes. Stupid double standards.

Tonight I watched Supernanny and Grey's Anatomy on tv and then filled in time watching an ep of Las Vegas I taped Saturday night and then an ep from season 4 of Crossing Jordan. Scott was still on the comp when that finished, so I was watching a countdown of best movie songs on Fox Classics. I was tap dancing around my living room. I miss my dancing. There was also a little singing. hehe.
After that I watched 2 more eps of Veronica Mars, only 3 more to go I think.

Well I should go to bed...its after 3 now...and I gotta get up and walk off to the station tomorrow. I so can't wait for this week to be over! (yes I know I've probably said that too much! lol)

The Start of the Last Week

Here it is, my very last week of my course. I have classes tomorrow morning and tuesday afternoon. And thats it. I can't wait.
I pretty much finished my essay today, and I hate the fact that I have been talking about practically nothing but my gorram essay all week. I have also pretty much finished my media folio, so thats good. My report due friday still needs a heck of a lot of work. But that will come when the other stuff is done.

Today I didn't really do much. My brother didn't get home until late in the afternoon, and my parents and sister were in and out of the house all day. I think I pretty much sat here at the computer all day again. -Though I did have a few breaks, I made cookies at one point. The easy kind, that you just break apart and bake. They taste decent enough, chocolate is chocolate. :P
I did a lot of work on my essay, its really crappy and I have no idea if its what he wants...but I'll hand it in anyways. I kinda don't care anymore.

My mum and sister spent the day ranting about this house they went and had a look at while on their walk. I remember having rants like that. Thinking we would move into this great house we saw, that would be totally perfect for us, if only we could actually afford it. I have never ever moved in my life. I have lived my whole twenty years(well 19 and 51 weeks) in this same house, in the same street, suburb, city, etc etc. I have always wanted to move and hopefully will move around a bit when I'm older. But I really can't see us moving anytime soon. My dad doesn't want to and really I do love where we live, its just our house that is the problem, its just not what we want. Its a perfectly fine house, and big too, but we just need something new, something different I think. *shrug*

Tonight I sat around, with nothing to do and I was going through the draws in the dining room. I was looking at all the old school photos, looking at how cute I was as a little kid :P. I was also looking at a few of the old stuff that mum had kept from when I was sick. My prescription books and stuff, and I don't know why exactly, but over the last few years I have really been into findin out about what happened to me as a kid. I hardly remember all the treatment, its all a blur and bits of memories pieced together. The parts I do remember are not all pleasant ones and then I get into a whole train of thought about how I didn't get my normal childhood like everyone else and I always end these kinds of things wanting to cry. -I don't know why I am writing about this stuff here....normally I don't talk about that stuff anywhere, but it just seems to be typing itself.

I think the whole, my very last check up at the childrens hospital being next month is getting to me. I will be going there for the last time for my treatment and seeing my doctors for the last time and thats sad. I have known a lot of the people I see there, since I was a very little kid. I have been going to that hospital at least once a year since I was 5 years old and spent a great deal of my primary school years in there....so to never go there again and to go to some new hospital with new doctors that I don't know and don't know me....scares me.

....oddly enough that totally contradicts my whole wanting to move stuff I was talking about just about all that....but it is a little different. But not really. That hospital has been a 2nd home to me for most of my life and to leave that home terrfies me....but I know it will all be fine and dandy....I just have to let it go. I will take my mind off it with other stuff soon and I will feel better.

Miles to go before I sleep

..well maybe.

In reality I'd very much like to be in bed around 3am....which gives me about 15minutes to write this and finish up on the comp. But thats not what I mean about miles to go and all.

For the last year I have been doing this course. Liberal Arts at Swinburne TAFE prahran. This semester my classes were, Economy and Society with the Columbian teacher that wants desperately for us to enjoy the class...unfortunately through no fault of his own..it didn't end up that way, Text and Culture -Olga's class and my fave of the lot, we got to watch films and study media and symbols in socitey etc and she's such a character and always an entertaining person, Inquiry and Presentation with Cheryl....where we really had no idea what it was we were supposed to be doing...but she wanted to teach us about Renaissance Florence and though pretty much the whole class was not interested..I was. We also had to do stuff related to careers and jobs etc...which didn't have anything to do with Florence..but anyways... and that leaves Steve's class, Nature and its Human Transformations. Our classes really have the stupidest titles...Probably one of the most interesting classes and one with possibly the most work...and it has left an impression on me, but Steve himself...can be a real pain sometimes...sure sometimes he's all cool and chatty...but not really a very flexible person when it comes to help and stuff.
But with only 2 classes left and a little less than a week till I am offically finished for this year...I can't wait!
Now if only I could come up with a course or even an career angle to look into doing once I have finished this one...sometimes I just wish someone would tell me to do something and it'd be simple like that. But I am interested in so many things and I also have the trouble of not being the greatest student, though I do well, I wish I could get the high grades a little more often. and I know that my parents (and possibly teachers) would say that I could do well if I tried a little harder, and what worries me is that that is probably true. If I didn't get so sidetracked or devoted more time to work on these assignments...I could possibly get the great grades...but thats just not me. I will just have to wait until I find the thing that gets me really interested and something that will bring out my best work.

So moving on from that somewhat depressing conversation with myself(and you people reading this, whoever you may be) and a rather indepth look into my mind...
Today was just another saturday. I got up late, around 11am and then sat around the house. I read the paper, read the catalogues, etc etc. Then in the afternoon, I sat down her at the computer and after reading through BCA and a few other websites, I did some more work on my essay. I actually got a fair bit done today...though I am not sure if my essay even makes sense. I will finish it off tomorrow and hopefully make it make a little more sense...but I dunno if I care anymore...I just want it all overwith for the year. I have worked really hard this year and spent so many days in class, when the others in class have decided not to show up, each to their own reasons as to why not...but I am just burned out. It's so draining to be the good one all the time. I just want to sleep for a month and enjoy my summer vacation. I can't wait to go to the beach and get up whenever I want to and stay up late and watch a lot of silly tv and be able to spend time with my friends and stuff. Thats me, the dreamer, always being positive and focusing on the good stuff. Damm that can be a pain the ass. hehe.

Okay so enough of this crazy psychobable....

This evening my parents went out to dinner with friends at a local restuarant. My brother went off to a friends place soon after and so it was just me and Nikki. I watched the Fight Club dvd that Nick had lent me and Nikki was in hte back room playing on her xbox and watching tv.
I can now cross FIGHT CLUB off my list of movies I 'have' to see. It was good. And very interesting.
After that ended I watched Will and Grace on foxtel and then my parents came home and brought their friends with them. So me, mum and the female friend all chatted in the kitchen, while dad, the husband of the woman we were talking to and another friend of his were downstairs, drinking and acting like typical Aussie males..talking loudly about stupid things. :P
The couple were parents of a kid in my brother's year in primary school and I think they are on one of the same sports teams..but I really have no idea. lol. They left just before Midnight and then I sat here on the comp and watched 3 more eps of Veronica Mars. I got to see my first Alyson Hannigan ep...which was kinda weird..but good.

Only a few more to go now...

and wow my 20th birthday is only just over a week away...scary. I better hurry up and think of something to do.

Okay so its now 3:11am....so much for going to bed by 3....oh well. Now is just as good a time as any.
