The Start of The Last Week 2

Today is my last 'free' Monday! Next Monday it's back to classes. Doh!
Today I got up at 8:30am. Showered and sat down to watch the SAG awards with my breffles (waffles) with nutella and cream. Turns out the guide was wrong and the red carpet didn't start till 10am. So I got to watch Providence.
Then I sat and watched (and taped) the SAG awards red carpet and then the awards themselves.
They were pretty good. None of my fave faves were there. 'cept Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally from Will and Grace. Sean Hayes won the award. It was so sweet! Megan was teary! -I DON'T WANT WILL AND GRACE TO END!!!!!!!!!!!

Shirley Temple (Black) got the lifetime achievement award. -That was very cool. I LOVE Shirley Temple movies! And I admit that, even as a 20 year old. -the same goes for Disney! lol

After the awards I watched random tv and had lunch, before going on the computer and spending an hour trying to find the new ep of CJ to download.
I had a break and did the dishes. -Not wanting to get yelled at when my parents got home. ...even though Scott was perfectly able to do them himself! But no. -He couldn't even open the blinds downstairs! -Lazy bum! lol

After that I finally found the ep to download. -It's currently at 45% (I had to stop when I got off the comp)
I watched The Nanny on foxtel, then we had dinner. Scott and I fought over the fact that he refuses to wash his hands when they are clearly dirty before touching food that other people may want to eat!...this is an endless war we seem to have going! But I am not letting go of my morals or my principles!

After that I watched the rest of Friends, then some of an ep of Dr Quinn Medicine Woman. Then I realised that Will and Grace was not on tonight and decided to watch Serenity - The Firefly Pilot ep. -I hadn't seen any Firefly since before the 2nd screening of the movie back in August/September I don't think!
I was just on halfway through it, when I got an SMS from Elsa saying that Amy Acker was on Supernatural. So I stopped the dvd and watched that! I HAD to! I love my Amy Acker. She was one of my faves on Angel. It was so weird her being all grown up and with a kid....lol

Once that finished I watched the rest of Serenity. It was so great having my characters back again. It was kinda like seeing old friends! I forgot how much I loved Firefly!
After that I flicked channels again. And now I am on the comp.
I am hoping to watch the new ep of CJ tomorrow while Scott is out and Nikki is at school. It'll be SO great to have the house to myself for a little while again!


I should really go to bed soon...but I'm rather awake. Oh well I can sleep on saturday! lol.

The End of Another Week

So yeah again I did very little today. I spent a lot of time on the net and a lot of time infront of the tv!

Scott was working all day, so that made the house a little quieter....but not THAT much.
lol. Between Nikki and Dad, there was still plenty of noise.

Mum, Nic and I went to the supermarket. I got me some new phone credit. -yay...and it also came in handy...

I spent the afternoon on the computer, and watching some tv. I was going to watch Gilmore Girls from last night, but it was too noisy so I decided to wait. It was a good thing I did, because I started flicking channels and almost died of shock when I found 'The Shrunken City' which is a movie that a few of us have had a slight obsession with (some of us more than others...). That is the movie that has Steve Valentine (Nigel from CJ) in it, playing an Ood Leader. So there has been a big Ood thing, even though none of us have seen it. So I was madly texting Elsa, Ella and Faith. -It was very exciting!

Then I decided to stop watching it and tape it from the start at 5am (Monday). So I have set up the tape for that. -It was on Hallmark of all channels. One I like, but haven't really watched much lately.

Then I watched Charmed with Nikki. -I wanted to watch the one were they go back to the 1920's. Because of my story. I wanted to check some things.
Then I watched Gilmore girls and then the final ep of Sliders and the special features.
There was a behinds the scenes/thing about the show bit, which was very cool and Jerry mentioned Crossing Jordan so I giggled and clapped at that. lol.
So I have now finished my Sliders dvds. yay. Season 3 is coming out next week. I might start saving up for when that comes out cheap.

Then I started quoteing 'Conspiracy' of CJ season 2. It's the 2nd last one I have. I got a bit done, but then I got tired so I gave up and flicked foxtel channels. I watched Lost for a while, till Scott got off the comp and thats my day!

Nikki wasn't feeling well this evening. I think she was a bit dehydrated. Stupid heat.
Dad was complaining/arguing about the Air conditioning today again.

Tomorrow I am spending the day watching the SAG awards (Screen Actors Guild) on foxtel.
Then Scott and Nikki go back to school on Tuesday! -YAY!!!!!!!
I will have a new ep of Crossing Jordan to watch then. Woohoo!
-I can't wait.
I saw like 50 ads for the new season of Las Vegas on channel 7 tonight! I just hope they play CJ soon! Otherwise it will be all messed up!

Busy Busy Shopping and Uber Fun!

Wow. Yesterday I was super busy! And I was barely home all day!

Yesterday I spent pretty much the whole day shopping with Mum and Nikki at Chadstone. We were there till about 4pm..maybe just before that.
We looked at heaps of things, and Mum bought me some new jeans! yay! -I've needed new jeans for AGES! They have to get taken up though, so I won't get them till after Wednesday.

Elsa has been in Mildura with Ella all weekend, so it's been a little quiet online. -As everyone else seems to be awol as well.

Anyways..after we got back from the Chaddy, Nikki and I watched 'Billboard Dad' - a Mary Kate and Ashley movie...from 1998...it was Nikki's choice. Anyways..it had Bailey Chase in it from Buffy and Las Vegas (Graeme and Jake, Mary's boyfriend) though for some reason, he was credited as Bailey Luetgert....I don't know why...weird. lol

Then Mum dropped me over at Vicky's at 7pm. We had another movie night and the main people were there. We had pizzas. -Good ones, unlike the ones from Friday night....
We watched 'EuroTrip'...which I had not seen. It was pretty funny. Bad, but kinda funny. lol.
Then we watched 'Bring It On'. Which everyone loves. After that we watched Tabula Rasa of Buffy (season 6) and then we chatted for a little while longer. Steph gave me a lift home, and I got in a bit after 1am. I wasn't sleepy, so I read some more of Tom Sawyer and listened to my iPod.

Today is another nothing day. I have been catching up on all the net stuff I missed yesterday arvo/evening, and then I am going to the supermarket with mum soon.

Elsa comes back tonight.

Oh and the temp outside is starting to cool down. yay. -Though I am still grumpy about not getting to go to the beach still! grrr.

Fuzzy Fridays

Today I ment to get up at 8:30am...so that I could shower and stuff before Nikki's friend got here at 10am. -I was planning on watching Providence from 9.
But I stupidly turned off my alarm when it went off, and went back to sleep. I only got up because Nikki came in at 10 past 9 to wake me up! lol. So I watched most of Providence and then went off and showered. By the time I was dressed and ready, Nikki's friend Lucy was already here. lol.

So anyways...I sat on the computer and did some work on my chapter, while the girls sorted out what they wanted to do today.
The choice was between the beach and going to Luna Park. They chose Luna Park. Doh! I really really wanted to go to the beach! grr. -I am NEVER gonna get there! haha! Something does NOT want me going to the beach this year! Like seriously! lol.

So anyways, the girls played The game of life untill it was time for them to go. I wasn't gonna go to Luna Park, I was only gonna go if they went to the beach.
I was kinda okay with that anyways really. Because for the first time in ages (since my fam went to Canberra) I had the house to myself, since both Scott and Mum were at work!...as weird as that was. lol. I shut all the doors..that dad had opened...even though it was still really hot today, and turned on the air conditioning!
I watched the new ep of Las Vegas that I had. It was a great ep. Very amusing!
Then I watched the ep of the View that I taped last night, and then I watched the new ep of the view. -Which I had to start taping half way through because dad wanted me to take the stuff off the line because it was going to rain.
So when the show was finished, I went back and watched what I had missded.

After that I finished off my chapter on the computer and then Dad, Nikki and Lucy came back. They seemed to have a good time...though they were a bit hungry because Dad is a cheapass, who only let them have some chips at Maccas. I remember when we were younger and on trips and stuff, he would let us have a drink or an icecream or some kind of food. Never a drink AND some food. Even though we had been sitting in a car for ages. Parents! lol

Anyways....
so year I spent the afternoon on the computer. I was SO happy to finish my chapter! I had a lot of fun writing it, but it was nice to finally finish it! lol.

Mum went shopping and I ordered my Serenity dvd online with her credit card before she left. Yay! hehe.
She was picking up Scott from work when he was done, after she shopped. lol.

Must to my protest and whinging, we got pizzas for dinner. They were not great. lol
Nikki and I watched Friends and then we put on 'Kangeroo Jack' to watch while we ate. To my surprise the movie actually wasn't that bad! I was kinda shocked! The only really real bad thing was the kangeroo...it was just..lame and sorta bad. But Jerry wasn't playing a total idiot the whole time....though he was a STRAIGHT hairdresser!!! ...which was just weird. The whole clips on the sleaves thing...eeek. lol

I taped Will and Grace at 8pm, as KJ hadn't finished yet. After that had finished, Nikki and I watched the Shirley Temple film 'The Blue Bird'. I was told it was good, and it was...but it's not a fave. It wasn't THAT good.
After that we watched Will and Grace. I was shocked to find out that Mr Lily...as I call him, aka Ethan Sandler, actor and husband of Kathryn Hahn who plays Lily on CJ...(He's played 3 different characters on CJ so far...) was in it!
So I had to go back and make sure! hehe.
After that I watched bits of Leno and Conan as I went through some old tapes.
I have been trying to find the clips I had of Jill Hennessy on the Today show and The View that I had taped back in October. And I couldn't remember which tape they were on and couldn't find them anywhere. To my shock and luck of course...they were on the very last tape I looked at! lol. And of course I had to watch them again. hehe.

So now at 2am...I am having some quick net time before going to bed.
It's a bit cooler now and I also have the AC on....which I should really turn off...since it's 2am...
Oh yeah, my title for today is to do with the fact that I have been forgetting things all day. I couldn't remember if Mum had called me today or the other day and other little things too. lol. Maybe I'm getting old...or I need more sleep. Either way! hah.

Tomorrow Nikki, Mum and I are going shopping at Chaddy. And then tomorrow night I am going out with my Browncoats gang...either to Vicky's or to the movies probably...we dunno yet.

Another Scorcher!

Today was muchos hot! The high high temp made everyone in the house grouchy too!

I slept in again...forgetting about Providence...and got up at 11am. I then sat around for a few hours, doing nothing. -A little time on the comp, but not much else.

Nikki and I watched the rest of the Christmas/Party/Birthday/misc tape, and some music vids on foxtel. Then we watched The Barbie movies...the ones I LOVED as a kid. -They were made in 1987....they were kinda bad..but I still love them. lol.
After that I helped Nikki sort some stuff out in her room. Then I convinced Mum (quite easily) to take us down to Blockbuster video to get some movies. So off we went. I got, The Muppet Movie, Cabaret, The Blue Bird and Holiday Inn. Nikki got Billboard Dad (a Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen movie) and Kangaroo Jack. -I can't believe she got it! But I will HAVE to watch it....oh how I KNOW I will cringe at Jerry in it. Lol.
Mum also bought icecreams for everyone.

When we got back, I helped Nikki in her room again. -We were supposed to be looking for things to throw out for a garage sale...but I was mostly looking at old books and games that are childhood faves. -I found my old Flute music book, there was the music to Blow'in in the Wind by Bob Dylan! I need to buy a flute, I'd love to teach myself how to play again.

I watched Friends at 6:30pm. I was a little bummed that I missed the proposal ep yesterday. I love that ep! lol.
Then we had dinner, a bbq on a total fire ban day...my dad never listens to the rules.
Nikki and I watched another ep of Sliders. -We only have 1 more to go now!
Then we watched Will and Grace and then I put on the Muppet Movie. -We ate a few too many Caramello Koalas today..in honour of Australia Day. heh. I had me some Vegemite today too. ...okay I have that most days! lol.

Then I just bummed around watching tv till now.
Tomorrow we may or may not be going to the beach. It's a possibility. Nikki is having Lucy over, they may go to Luna Park instead. We'll see.
I'm gonna head to bed soon..but I have like 1 scene of my chapter left, so I wanna finish that so that I can post it tomorrow.

A Lazy Day...

Today was pretty much a nothing day. I slept in (taping Providence), got up around 10am. And then sat on the computer till noon.
I had to take up my pants for my interview at Safeway and I also had to iron my shirt before that!
I ended up taping The View, and watched it tonight.
I watched yesterdays before doing my pants.

I left at 3pm. I just missed the early tram I was supposed to catch, so I sat in the 30something degree heat and waited for the next one. I managed to get to Safeway on time, but had to wait around ages for someone to greet me for my interview.
The interview went okay, it was pretty simple. I expected the whole 'what is your weakness' question, but nope. Hopefully I will get some work. I'm crossing my fingers. lol
-That said, after all that I probably won't get it.

I came home and watched tv with Nikki. -After having a shower from being really hot and all sweaty from wearing work clothes out in the heat. The whole thing took just over an hour, including travel time!
We then put on the old birthday party video of me and Scott when we were little.
Mum came home and we somehow convinced her to buy us McDonalds for dinner. So we went shopping at safeway...the same store infact! lol.
Then Nikki and I went and got the dinner and waited for mum to pick us up in the car.

Tonight I watched Will and Grace (on foxtel, but a new ep for me...a new/old ep. lol), then I watched The View from earlier today. Then Nikki and I watched Sliders and then we watched Providence from this morning. After that we watched the rest of the party video and then started another tape, a later one that had Christmas 1999 on it. It was so weird, but little Nikki was SO cute! lol

Tomorrow is Australia Day, so I dunno what we are doing. Nothing much I don't think...since it's going to be SO SO hot! lol.

Trouble Times Like A THOUSAND!

Today was just a bad day. Actually it had it's moments....

Like I got to watch a new episode of Crossing Jordan! yay. That was ep 12. Weird. It feels like there have been more than that.

Before that I took Nikki up to the school to collect her books for the year. Scott went off to work and was out all day.
Dad came home at 1pm (about 10 minutes after I finished watching the great ep of CJ), and then he drove me to Prahran for my enrollment.

-He was a total pain, because he was there...off shopping and would just come in and pay the fees. He made me go through all this jazz, so that he could pay over the phone or something. He's a total flake and I am really mad at him for it. I asked and everything.
People should know that for me to ask for something, especially from my parents or other grown-ups (eg. teachers) is a really hard thing for me. And he just has to be a pathetic jerk. oh well. What am I gonna do. *sigh*

So then anyways...I stayed and chatted with Jacinta, Kelly and Judith while they paid, and then went and met dad. Who decided to stay around. Grrr.
We stopped at Ashburton on the way home to buy bread...and I waited in the car. I was totally bombarded with things relating to my tv shows. lol. From Duchamp clothing, to a Molly Sims ad on the window of the chemist, to some guy Tim from a realestate place. lol.
-It amused me.

When I got home I sat on the computer. Mum came home and I ended up getting into a huge fight with everyone because I was expressing my feelings about Dad and his deal!
Then mum got annoyed with me because I had not sent off for my health care card yet. Then because I was annoyed that my black pants are missing. So we went off to Target eventually to buy some new ones. It wasn't easy. lol. But we found a pair for now. I need a pair to wear to my interview at safeway tomorrow arvo. -Hopefully I will get a job and have some money to buy some new clothes! That'd be nice.

We got back and I watched tv. I went though some more old tapes. Then just before 8pm, I made my dinner. I hadn't eaten all day...well since the breffles I had around 11am. I was starving!!
Then I watched Will and Grace and then a repeat of NCIS. I think I had seen part of this ep before. Weird. lol.
Then I watched an ep of Sliders. And read another chapter of Tom Sawyer. Then I watched the blooper reels from Alias and then another ep of Sliders.
Tomorrow Scott isn't working. So he will be home all day. -No fun at all!
My interview is at 3:30pm, down at Camberwell. I will catch the tram down.

I am downloading a new ep of Las Vegas. Oh and channel 7 will start season 3 next Thursday night! I can't wait! hehe.

Bues and Trams

Today Nikki and I went to the movies at Chadstone.
I slept in...I forgot I was supposed to get up...even though my alarm kept going off, I kept pushing the snooze button. -I was having some dream about shopping in the city with Elsa and Faith. They were being mean. lol.
Anyways, so I missed the first 10minutes of Providence, which was no drama really. lol. Everyone had left by then. Scott was working today, after not working in like AGES! (Not counting NYE of course!)
So after Providence, I went off to get ready. After having breaky, and closing up the house, Nikki and I left for the tram stop at 11am. We caught the tram and got off at Warrigal Rd, where we were catching our bus from. We waited about 10 minutes for our bus, and then got to Chaddy a little after half past 11. We went and bought our tickets, and then went shopping. We looked in Borders and JB Hifi. Then we bought our popcorn and drinks - at Nikki's request. I would have been happy with just a choc top, the icecream you can only really get at the movies.

We then went in and waited for the movie to start. We were seeing Cheaper By the Dozen 2. We had seen the first one together too. It was a decent movie. Funny and entertaining. Though the part where they named the grandson after the dad was a little too 'Father of the Bride 2' for me...especially since Steve Martin was playing the dad in both films....
It was so weird seeing the kids all so grown up! I had sorta forgotten that they would be so much older than in the last one! It took me a little while to get used to. lol

After the movie, Nikki and I had a look in Just Jeans, The Roxy Shop and then Smiggle. In Smiggle (a somewhat funky stationary store) I bought a new pencil case, a metal ruler and Nikki got a heart shaped clip and an eraser in the shape of an icypole. After Smiggle, we went back to the newsagents and I bought a magazine that had a pic of Jill Hennessy and Steve Valentine at the Golden Globes. Only 1 mag had their pic in it. Not even a pic of Jill in her gorgeous dresss in the dresses section!
Then we waited in the book store till the next bus came. We then waited for a tram, as we couldn't be bothered walking down Toorak Rd. So we got home a bit before 4pm. I spent the arvo on the computer. Mum got home first. Scott got picked up a little after 6:30pm.

I spent the evening watching tv of course! I was going through one of my old tapes and found Josh Duhamel at the 2004 golden globes on tape. It was weird. But cool! lol
I then watched an ep of Sliders. I only have 5 left now! Then I watched the View that I taped while I was out today. Then I finished quoting the Crossing Jordan ep. YAY! Only 2 left now I think....plus all of season 5...but I am not doing that till after they air on channel 7, so that will be in a while.

I am so bored. And lonely. And bored. lol.
Tomorrow I have to go enroll at tafe. Dad is driving me..but he doesn't want to go in an pay. I hate when he does things like that. He can't lower himself to do anything with me. Jerk.
..sorry I'm feeling slightly bitter tonight. I was only sad before..I guess it's moved on.

I am not sleepy. I am waiting for ep 12 of Crossing Jordan, the new ep, to download. It'll have to finish tomorrow..but I want to get as much out of it tonight as I can.
I am now half watching old Buffy repeats on channel 7, I know it almost word for word though haha....and am also doing random net things too. Oh and also trying to finish my chapter for the forum fanfic. I am almost done...well I keep saying that, but then I add something else or change something. lol

Feeling Hot Hot Hot!!!

Okay so I seriously spent like the WHOLE day at the computer. I was bored, hot and lonely.
There was no one to chat to. :(
It was really really hot today, over 40 degrees celcius!
Nikki didn't get back till after 5pm. And when she did Mum told her that her guinea pigs couldn't take the heat and had died....we are great pet people! not! ...Toffee is going okay though.
But it was really really hot outside and so Nikki wanted a funeral for them. She wrote a little speech to say, and Mum and Scott burried them in the backyard somewhere. Dad put up a fuss about having to do it at that time, even today at all. -The rest of us tried to point out that they wouldn't stay good...lol.

Anyways...so Nikki was pretty sad about that. But I guess that's part of having pets. It helps you prepare for the bigger things, the people that will eventually leave. I have never lost anyone or anything that I am close to. I have known people that died, but not really really. And so when it comes to me going to my first funeral I will be a total wreck. I am not looking foward to it at all....not that one generally would....you know what I mean though...I hope. lol

Tonight I watched Gilmore Girls from last night, ...after much arguing with Scott...which I get blamed for of course. hmm.
Then I did some more quotes from 'John Doe' of Crossing Jordan.

Tomorrow Nikki and I are going to the movies, to see Cheaper by the Dozen. We will be catching the bus...fun. heh. Oh well.
I think icecream may be necessery tomorrow. It's still really hot now, it's supposed to be cooler tomorrow..mid to late 20's I think. Not too bad.

Well I should get off to bed soon. I've almost finished my chapter for the forum fanfic...I think...

Nature's Fireworks

I had a great time last night! I got home at 4ish this morning. It was SO hot I had to have a quick shower before going to bed!

Yesterday when we went shopping, we picked up Scott from Maree's. It's gonna suck having to share with him again. Oh well. wah. lol

After we went to the supermarket, we came home and I got ready to go out. We left a bit before 5pm and Mum and I went down to visit Grandma and Grandpa. We were there for about half an hour, then Mum dropped me at Brett's. Brett was nice enough to offer to drive me down to Vanessa's with him. So off we went at 6ish. It didn't take long really to get to Frankston. We found Vanessa's house and Vicki and Steph were already there, in the pool. So we got changed and went for a dip. The water was lovely! As was Vanessa's place.
We swam for a while, then we all started getting pruny, so we got out. We tried to pick some dvds to watch, while dinner was cooking.
Vanessa made us pasta and there was quite a lot, I couldn't finish it all!
We ate outside, with a great view of the ocean and the city in the background. After dinner I changed back into my clothes, and then we sat around and watched some fireworks which had started. -They were VERY PRETTY! The rain and lightning started and so nature was giving us it's own fireworks show. -It was kinda weird seeing fireworks and then lightning in the background. lol

Once they were over, we finally got ready to watch the dvds. Vanessa showed me her old Beverly Hills 90210 scrapbooks and barbie dolls. I was SO jealous! I wish I had all that! hah! She had a Kelly, a Dylan and a Brandon one. She had the book that I had, that mum said she threw out...but I'm hoping it's still around somewhere...I am dream. lol

We watched A Cinderella Story, which I really enjoyed. It was pretty funny, and even Brett laughed. -He didn't want to watch it, but the 4 of us girls won out! hehe.
After that we let Brett pick, he chose Elektra. I had seen it years ago, but had forgotten what it was about. lol. So it was weird remembering.
Oh and before the movies, we watched Jewel Staite's episode of The X-Files, which Vanessa had on tape. She was so cute and SO little! But she was SO SO SO good!

After the movies, we all packed up and headed off....since it was practically 3am...hah!
We chatted for a tiny bit longer, then we got going. Brett drove me home too.

So yeah, that was my big night out.
Today it's really really really really hot. Nikki is out with Yvette, who she had over yesterday. Which is good, since they haven't seen each other in almost a year I don't think. hmm.
I am just sitting at the comp, I've played with photoshop and made a new sig for my Docs, Cops, Hugs and Hats Crossing Jordan website forum thingy...
I am kinda tired...I might go to bed earlish...we'll see.

Curse The Heat!

Oh how I long for the beach! I have only been once all summer. I want my beach dang nabbit! lol.

Wow I was so busy chatting and writing bits of my chapter last night that I forgot my post again. woops.

So yeah....I didn't get to bed till 3am Thursday night (well friday morning technically), I got up and watched Providence. Then I bummed around. I sat on the computer, and I played the Sims2, and I wrote more of my chapter and did some more work for the website. That's pretty much it. I watched the View ofcourse too. I was also going through one of my old Alias tapes, and found an ad for the season 3 premire of Crossing Jordan - Devil May Care. I squeeled. hehe. I now have the ad for the season 2 finale and the season 3 premire. weird.

I got a call from the Safeway people again. They gave me a 2nd interview, for next week. YAY. I probably won't get a job, but I will try to be optimistic. lol.

Last night we had fish and chips - FINALLY! I was so happy and it tasted really good! Nikki and I watched an ep of Sliders while we ate. - It was a dinosaur ep. Then I watched Will and Grace. It's so weird having all these OLD eps that I have not seen. They are from season 5 which is when I think they put it on Thursdays at the same time as ER or somthing, so I couldn't watch them. doh. So now I am filling in all the gaps. lol.
After that Nikki and I watched 'Baby Boom'. That movie has always been a fave of mine and mum's. I love it! lol.
After that I sat on the comp till 3am again...and slept in till 11:3oam-ish. I kept waking up and getting interupted by Nikki. So I had a few different dreams. Most involving Crossing Jordan characters. lol.

Today I am going to the shops, then down to visit Grandma and Grandpa probably, and then Mum is dropping me at Brett's, who is taking me down to Vanessa's with him. -It's all very complicated. lol.

Well I should go. I have to finish some stuff on the comp so that I can go shopping....

Quotes, Screenies and Too Many Forums

I was so busy chatting last night that I forgot my post again! haha.
Well today is just as good.

Yesterday I didn't do much of anything. I watched some tv, sat on the computer, stressed about my interview (that is this afternoon...and I'm still sorta stressing, though I know I'll be fine. lol). I decided to watch Father of the Bride Part 2. I love that one too! -I have an obsession. The tape was so old, it had early seasons ads for Ally McBeal, and a WAY old channel 7 logo too! heh.

I ran out of time to finish it in one go, as Dad kept interupting me while he was on the phone to my tafe, trying to work out how to pay for my fees. So I watched The View and then watched the last little bit.
Meredith and Barbara were back on The View yesterday. I was happy. It's just not right without Meredith. lol.

After that I spent the whole afternoon/evening on the computer, talking to my girls, and doing creative things. I got off around 6pm and watched tv and had dinner. Then I watched a Golden Globe awards post show thing to see if they mentioned Jill...or anyone else I liked, they didn't really. Doh. Oh well you did get to see her for 5 seconds, when they showed the cast of Desperate Housewives coming up on stage to collect their award. -At least CJ, if it had been nominated, would have been in a different catagory....lol

After that I watched the LIVE ep of Will and Grace again. -It's SO SO funny!!! I LOVE it!

Then I felt like watching Crossing Jordan. So I watched Family Ties...A) because I love it! Lily and Nigel are so cute together. and B) because I needed to find out some things about Nigel's history.
After that I decided to finally start quoting John Doe. I haven't done any quoting since I did the ones for the Crossover eps. So I did a bit of that one. Then I sat on the comp all night talking to my girls again...about silly things ofcourse! lol.

Today I have my interview with Safeway supermarket. I sorta do want a job...cause money and experiance...but I also don't want my time taken up. hmm. oh well. I am sure the interview will go okay...it's a group one....which could be interesting....Anyways...wish me luck with that.
Ugh! It's so hot today and I have to dress up in worky clothes...long pants and a shirt. doh. Oh well it's only for an hour and a half. :)

I still haven't finished my chapter for the forum fanfic...I am getting there...slowly.

Golden Globes Day

Today was the day of the Golden Globes. -Monday in the US, Tuesday here. lol.
I got up at 8:30 this morning. After having a great deal of trouble sleeping last night, with my spine sending shocks up and down, and my knees killing me if I lay on my stomach.
So anyways...I got up at 8:30am, and had my shower early. Then restarted the download for ep 11 of Crossing Jordan. Then I watched Providence and had my breaky. Nikki was with me.
At 10am, the Golden Globes Red Carpet started and I had my tape all ready to go. Jill Hennessy was shown very early. -And looking mighty pretty too!
The Will and Grace cast were also there. It was kinda weird seeing them stand next to Jill...just cause they are usually so different worlds to me. lol.
Nikki watched with me, she kept commenting on stuff. I am such a bad influence on my lil sis. But I love her for it. lol.

That lasted till Noon. -Scott left sometime before that. Then I bummed around on the net/comp and then went and watched The View while I had lunch.
Now time changes are a weird thing. Marcia Cross was on The View. Which is shown a few hours after the US here. The odd part was that I had already seen Marcia Cross on the red carpet which was live. lol. So that was a bit odd. lol.

After that I waited another 10 minutes or so till the download was done and then watched ep 11 of Crossing Jordan. It was a really good one!
Then I read through all the ep stuff for CJ. Wrote up my little thoughts and stuff.

Mum came home after that, we chatted. Then I had dinner, and sat and waited for the Golden Globes to air on channel 10. Stupid Foxtel was not airing them live, so I had to wait till the evening to see them. Doh. But I waited and it was worth it. They showed a bit of Jill on the red carpet again (with a twirl. lol). She was on fairly early in the show, with Josh Duhamel from Las Vegas, he wore a funny tie...she looked lovely. They presented the award to Desperate Housewives. It was like a channel 7 Monday night mix. -Last year they had DH, then CJ, then repeats of LV. lol.
And then finally the Will and Grace cast got to do their presenting.

-There was also a fair bit of texting going on between me and Elsa during the night. lol.

Now I am chatting..I need to sleep soon.

Crummy Day #9986

Today was just a bad day for me all round. I spent the morning part being totally over tired and just lying on the couch. That lasted till about noonish, a little after. Nikki and I lay downstairs on the couch watching Open Seseme, a new Seseme street show using the old footage with weirdo new stuff thrown in. It was totally weird, I was watching things I KNOW I saw as a little kid. lol.
I was also half watching the Flinstones.

After that, I decided to watch an ep of Sliders. Nikki joined me in the lounge room. After that I watched The View, then Touched by an Angel and then I was flicking untill I finally got a turn on the computer around 4pm. -Only because Scott was going out. He's been such an asshole lately. Stupid teenage boys. -And my mother wonders why I never dated. lol

I finally found the file for this week's ep of Crossing Jordan so that I could download it....I should probably stop going on about how I download things....hmm.
I got off around 7pm and Scott got on and decided to be a total jerk and start going on about me downloading stuff from tv so that Mum would hear and get a little mad at me and start telling me off. -I love how they can download all this crap and I download something and suddenly it's a HUGE deal that is totally bad. I don't get it.
So anyways...he dared to delete it, and I reacted and hit him on the head. He got up and decided to get me back...apparently it's his right or something. I hate him. I can't wait till he is gone this week. He's going to be housesitting for Maree.

Everyone was in a bad mood today, and as usual I got all the blame for it. Just because I share my feelings, people fight and then I get blamed. Grr.
I made dinner (late) and then watched Will and Grace sorta on foxtel, then Nikki and I put on Anastasia. After that I flicked and then went to bed. I read another chapter of Tom Sawyer. That puts me up to chapter 6 I think. lol.
After I finished, I was lying there and fell asleep until 11:30pm. I got up and checked to see who was on Leno and Conan. -Steve Erwin was on Leno...it was pretty bad, but quite funny. lol.

Tomorrow the Golden Globe Awards are on. The red carpet special is on foxtel at 10am. The show it'self won't be on till 8:30pm on channel 10. oh well.
Hopefully I will ge to watch the new ep of Crossing Jordan tomorrow...or at least this week. *crosses fingers*

Back To Normal...Sorta

Well the family's all home now. They got back just after 6pm I think. Both Scott and Nikki raced to attack Toffee. The poor guy's had 4 days of rest and relaxation away from those two and now it's back to normal. Poor Kitty.

They all insisted on drinking my coke..even though I was gonna offer it to them, but I didn't get a chance. grr. lol
Nikki had lots to tell me and she had bought me a key-ring with my name on it. It's Carly with a Y, but I never care, at least it's not KYLIE. Seriously I have to change my name or something. Eveyone thinks my name is Kylie. Especially on the phone. Like last night when I ordered pizzas. I need a phone name. Lol.

Tonight I watched last night's Gilmore Girls and then Nikki and I watched a countdown of cutest child stars all grown up. I knew most of them..Nikki hardly knew any.

Looks like I won't have to fight my brother (or parents) for the tv on Tuesday now, because Scott is going to be housesitting for Maree. I can't wait! I will actually get to watch the Golden Globes in the non fuzzyness of 10 on the arial. yay. What luck :)

I think that's all I have to say. I've been updating the site some more. And I dunno what I'll do tomorrow...I'll see what Nikki wants to do.

Bye Bye Loneliness

Wow I can't believe I almost forgot to write this. I bet my parents will be home again by the time I finish. Oh well. :)
Today is the last day by myself and the family comes home from Canberra (pronounced Can-Brah, like Blah) our Country's Capitol. Today I spent the day finishing off the episodes of Veronica Mars I had to watch, listening to music and updating mine and Elsa's website. I added new pages for Garret and Woody and played with Jordan's a bit.

Last night Ness and Brett came over for a movie night. So I spent the whole day cleaning the house..well sorta. I also walked back down to Blockbuster to take the dvd I rented Friday back, watched an ep of Veronica Mars and a couple of other things.
Somehow Toffee managed to get himself trapped in the shower on Friday that was funny, cute and funny.

Elsa was online for the first time in months yesterday, it was totally weird. Good, GREAT, but weird. lol.

Ness arrived and we chatted until Brett came and we then chatted some more. After a while we decided we better order dinner, so we picked a couple of pizzas and I ordered them. I had no problems with ringing up and ordering, I seem to have gotten over some of my phone fears...Yay a new milestone for me. I hate phones, I have phone fear.

So after we ordered dinner, we sat in my living room trying to pick a movie to watch. We finally decided on Psycho Beach Party. The one that Faith and Elsa insisted on buying me on Thursday for $2. Lol. Brett drove us up to get the pizzas and we came home and ate, then went and watched the movie. It was so bad it was good. lol. It was one of those parody films, and had all these peoples in it from things. It was so stupid, we cracked ourselves up. lol.
After that we watched a bit of Will and Grace and Las Vegas. Then we went into the kitchen and chatted till almost 2am. We looked through my old tv scrapbook thingy, and Ness and I talked A LOT about 90210. It was weird. heh.
We ended up making a list of the movies to watch at the next movie night and ended up only being able to remember 2 of them. -The Princess Bride and Breakfast Club.
They left just before 2am and then I sat around on the net for a little while and went to bed. I left the dishes till this morning, as I didn't feel like it last night.

So while there was only the 3 of us, we had a lot of fun I think. I did anyways :)

Well the fam are still not home. But they will be soon and things will go back to normal. Which equals having to take turns with the TV and the computer. Oh well.
I didn't get my chapter finished for the fanfic thing, nor did I finish my script. But probably will this week sometime...hopefully.

All By Myself - Day 2

So technically my first day home all day alone. From morning till night.
I woke up at 7:30am to let Toffee out and then went back to sleep. I taped Providence and then got up just before 10am. I showered and got dressed and then made breaky and sat here at the computer and watched the new eps of Crossing Jordan and Las Vegas FINALLY! And they were definately worth the wait! Very good ones! :D

After that I went and watched the ep of The View that I had taped, and then watched the new one on foxtel.
Then I gave Toffee his lunch :P and then walked down to Blockbuster to rent The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants. On the way home, I stopped at the BP and bought bread and milk.

When I got home I watched the taped Providence and had lunch. Then I spent the rest of the arvo listening to music and reading up on all the things on the net.
At 6:30pm I went and watched Friends. Then I made dinner and watched The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants. It was good. Maybe a little long. But good. I enjoyed it. The actors were all good, though the blond one annoyed me a little bit...just a wee bit.
Then after I did the dishes, I decided to watch an old movie I had taped off tv, I picked Father of The Bride. That has always been one of my fave movies, especially as a kid. The tape is quite old. There were ads from season 1 of Ally McBeal, Home Improvement, and Ellen. lol.
I love that movie. Though it now makes me a little sad....I will not go into why. Lets just say it has to do with my dad being nothing like Steve Martin's character.

I will go to bed soon...ish. Probably...
lol. I haven't gotten quite as far with my script or my chapter of the CJ forum fanfic as I would have liked. But I still have some time. :)
Tomorrow I have to take the dvd back, clean up the house and get ready for my...2 possibly 3 guests tomorrow night.

All Alone At Last

Uck I am SO tired. I am going to head off the bed in a minute, after I've posted this.

But I am finally all by myself! The family left just after 8 this morning. I woke up at 7:30, as they were supposed to leave between 7 and 8am. But when I got up, Mum was still in the shower and the car was not packed up. But eventually they left.

I then went and showered and sat down to watch Providence. After that I put out the washing and got ready to go to the city, eg. finished charging my iPod. I also finished downloading Las Vegas.
So at 11am, after attempting to stop Toffs from fighting with some other cat out in the street, I headed off for the station. I got there early, but all was good. It was warmish today. That was nice! :) hehe.
I got into the city at 12 noon, and met Elsa. Then Faith and Nick arrived.

We went off shopping and then to get lunch. I was really tired and sorta out of it. We chatted for a while in the food court, and even played bottle top bowling. lol. -I said I was out of it! heh.

After that we visited more shops and spent way too much time in Borders...(if that's possible), and then went and got ice cream. -It was yummy. I had Mint Choc and Cookies and Cream.
Then we went to JB and spent a while in there. I got the Las Vegas soundtrack and was going to buy The Mask of Zorro, but decided to get Win a Date With Tad Hamilton instead. lol.
Faith and Elsa insisted on buying me some cheap $2 movie, because apparently I HAD to have it. I dunno when I will watch it....someday. lol.

After that we headed for Flinders St Station, passing a trapeze thingy that there was many people lined up to try. We then said our goodbyes and each headed for our trains home. I got home just before 6:30pm. On the way home I saw a Bubble O Bill icecream wrapper lying on the ground, which made me think about that quote about Bubble Gum icecream from the Las Vegas ep -

Mary: "You know what flavor I never understood, was bubble gum ice-cream. You know it just seemed so wrong to me!"
Danny: "Bubble gum ice-cream?"
Mary: "Yeah! Sure! Every once in a while you run into a chunk of it in the ice-cream, and you can’t chew it, cause if you do you can’t swallow the ice-cream, because if you swallow the ice-cream, you could choke to death!"

I am obsessed with that quote. She is totally right! It's stupid. And so this icecream wrapper made me think about it again. Bubble O Bill's are icecream in the shape of a face (Bubble O Bill) and he has a ball of bubble gum for his nose. And how can you eat the icecream before it melts AND eat the gum. It would be quite prolematic! lol.

So anyways...
After I got home, just as I was walking in the front door, the phone rang and it was Mum telling me that they got to Canberra safely. -Though for some reason the car windscreen has a crack in it...
After that I sat down and relaxed and watched Friends. I was going to watch the new eps of CJ and LV when I got home, but I was too tired and so I am waiting till tomorrow morning. Yay.
I then went and bought in the washing off the line and did the dishes and watched tv. Then made dinner and watched Will and Grace. Then I washed my dinner dishes and watched the season 1 finale and the season 2 premire of Las Vegas. They are both quite sad eps. But I love them. :)
Then I just have been doing other things. I watched another ep of Veronica Mars.
Toffee is asleep, I'm gonna wake up early tomorrow to let him out and then go back to sleep....probably.

Well I think that's me all done then. Tomorrow I have a lot of things I want to do. I might go rent a movie, and buy milk and bread. And then just hang around the house.

Almost Free!!!!!!!!!

This time tomorrow, I will be ALL ALONE in my house! I can't wait! hehe.
The fam is all packed up and ready to go early in the morning. I will probably be up by the time they leave...doh. But I have to get up anyways I suppose as I am meeting the gang in the city.

Today I kept fighting with Scott. He loves to torment me and push my buttons. I have become somewhat of a germophobe at home, and yell at everyone to wash their hands before touching food...which isn't much to ask. Especially after they have been holding the cat or playing on the computer. They get annoyed, but I am perfectly happy not being sick and would like to stay that way. Plus it's also common decency to wash hands before eating.
So Scott and I got into a big fight (s) about it today.

Mum was home and was up early off to the doctors. Then we sat around and I watched the View and then waited around after that, while Nikki made Honeyjoys, to go to the supermarket. I got plenty of junk for me to eat over the next couple of days. Some treats for me and then stuff for Saturday night when people come over.
We ran into 2 different people we know in the lolly isle. lol. One was the dad of a boy in my sister's year, who's daughter was my prep buddy when I was in grade 6 at Hartwell Primary. So he was chatting about that. Another was another parent we knew (well) from the school.

This evening, I watched more tv and helped Nikki get sorted for the trip. Packing and stuff. I think she has everything...I hope. lol.

I watched another ep of Sliders and started falling asleep, so I had to have me some coffee.
Today I realised I have not written in my diary/journal since early December 2005...so I will have to write a little something there, but I've been so busy doing my posts here. I like to have it in the journal though, I should print this all out...that could be a lot of paper. hmm.

Well I am looking forward to my day out with my friends tomorrow and then coming home to watch the new episodes of Crossing Jordan and Las Vegas.

I also have to point out that it's totally weird that Joanie from Providence is now on Joey....lol. I loved Joanie, she was cool.

Still Grumpy, Still Sleepy

Still hot too!
Today was warmish, but had moments of rain and cool breezes. I didn't do anything today. I didn't go to Em's as there was issues with transportation for myself. I spent the rest of the day sitting around at home.

This morning after watching Providence, I returned a call from someone at the Safeway Recruitment office, that I got yesterday, but didn't get the message till last night. She asked if I was still interested in a position and so I have a group interview next week. Hopefully that will come through! - I'm crossing my fingers.

I also got a letter from my TAFE today. They want me to go pay my fees and enrol officially on the 24th and then classes are supposed to start on the 6th...I was really hopeing they'd start a week or 2 later. Oh well.
I also printed out the form for a health care card today, so I will have to fill that out and send that off...or whatever I have to do with it.

Nikki didn't get home till almost 2pm, and she was tired and worn out. -meaning mostly grumpy.
I spent the evening watching Sliders, Will and Grace, NCIS, Gilmore Girls, Friends etc etc. Not much really. Oh and I got to hear Pauley Perrette's (Abby from NCIS) one line in Brother Bear. Lol.

Oooo and after watching Sliders tonight, I watched the rest of the ep of Law and Order, and then the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and then Conan. I wasn't going to watch Conan, but I waited to see who they had on, and it was a repeat with Molly Sims (Delinda Deline from Las Vegas) and so I HAD to watch it....and tape it. lol. I LOVE her! She is a nut...as are most cool people these days. lol.

Mum is home tomorrow, so there are a few things planned. A few things to be done before their trip on Thursday. I am meeting up with the gang in the city on Thursday, and will then come home and watch my shiny shiny new eps of Crossing Jordan and Las Vegas. I can't wait! -They are still not downloaded fully yet. Doh!

Boring and Hot

I was still grumpy today....it's possible that I am PMS-ing..... :P

I got up, everyone else was still asleep. I watched Providence, read the paper, flicked etc. I didn't rush to have my shower, but was out by 10:30am. Nikki got up after that and she moseyed (I have no idea how to spell that word. lol) around. She got a call from her friend Laura, who invited her over there. So at 1pm, (Scott was up by then) she was supposed to get picked up by Laura, but she called and asked if one of us could walk Nic around. Scott did it, as I was watching tv and my sore leg from yesterday is still sore.
-I changed the bandaids on it today, and put Detol on it and I have a bruise on it, it's not overly pretty. lol.

I was bored in the afternoon and felt like watching some Crossing Jordan. So I watched Sactuary, and just after it finished, I was flicking and on came this movie called 'Hennessy'. It made me laugh. lol.

Nikki was supposed to come home at 4pm, but called after 5pm asking if she could stay the night. I was all grumpy because Mum doesn't want to buy white bread anymore, and I don't eat brown bread. I won't have much for lunch tomorrow I'm guessing. Wah. I get grumpy when I'm tired and/or hungry.

Mum got angry with me for not calling some person from Safeway back, as they had apparently left a message. -I never check the messages, especially as they are usually old (no one ever deletes them) and also the phone is so low down that you don't generally look at it. I will call back tomorrow though. It'd be nice to get a job, at least a few hours a week or even 1 shift. *shrugs* I could use some cash.

I was going to go to the movies with Nikki tomorrow, but since she will probably be out all day, that's not happening. We will probably do that next week.

Tonight I watched another ep of Sliders, in which they were talking about Australia A LOT and the people had some of the dodgiest Aussie accents I have EVER heard! They mention Australia on that show a lot. It's weird. lol. I spent the whole time being so embarrased for Australia and at the crappiness of it all. lol.
I then watched 2 more eps of CJ and then Leno and Conan. I watched the outtakes from Las Vegas again, cause they're funny. hehe.

I am currently downloading the next ep of Crossing Jordan. I was hoping to have it done by tomorrow morning, but I don't think that's gonna happen. If not I will wait till Thursday, when I will have no worries about other people in the house. yay!

A Grumpy Day At The Beach

So today were were off to the beach, and I was driving down there, and I was all packed. I had remembered my boardshorts this time and I was going to swim happily....
well even though I kept telling Nikki to put our backpack in the car, I realised when we got down there that she had forgotten to do so. So I was without my bathers top and boardshorts. Mum also forgot the towels and so we had to borrow some when we went to the beach.

Most of the family was there, well all the Uncles and Aunts other than Neil and Margaret. Sarah and Elizabeth were the only other cousins. -Plus Elizabeth's friend James was there too.
We sat around, had lunch -a yummy BBQ with fresh snags and bread. After lunch it was getting quite hot, so we decided to go down to the beach. Uncle John brought the boat down and Nic and Scott went with him in that, while Mum, Dad and I swam for a bit. -I ended up wearing my bikini bottoms, my bra and Mum's sunsmart top in the water.
John brought the boat around to where we were swimming and I got to go for a turn in the biscut/doughnut/ring-thing. It hurt my ass a little, but was heaps of fun! lol. Then Elizabeth had a turn, so I got to sit in the boat. It's been years since I've gone out on the boat! Years and Years!
While Elizabeth was having her turn, it broke, so we headed back and then as I was getting out of the boat, I fell and ripped some of the skin off my knee, so that hurts a lot now. Wah. -Luckily we had bandaids in the car first aid kit!

After that we went back to the house, and sat around some more. We then had dinner, another BBQ and then we had to leave so that Scott could drive home while it was still light.
I listened to my iPod, which was very low on batteries, as Nikki had left it going when she used it on the way down...

I had a fun day, got a little sun, my face is all read right now.
Not Much going on tomorrow. Maybe a swim. :)

All Night, All Day...

I seriously am a human juke box, every few minutes I will get a new song stuck in my head. lol. At this very second, it's 'Angel's Watching Over Me'. lol and before that it was 'Have You Ever Seen the Rain'. I got into a whole debate about the quality vs suckiness of Creedence Clearwater Revival with my mum today. She doesn't like them. I do. Enough said. She doesn't like most of what I like, which is how it's supposed to go. lol.

This arvo I ended up going to officeworks with my mum and Nikki. Nic decided she had to get all these things for school (doesn't start back till the end of the month) and I wanted to get me some stuff too. So off we went. We bought too much, but I'm sure we needed it all! hehe.

When we got back, Nikki, Scott and went for a swim. It was warmish, not hot, but we felt hot after being in the car, so we swam. -Not for that long though, cause Nic got grumpy....

Nikki and did some more clean up work of her room and then I watched the double ep Gilmore Girls. I think we are finally onto season 5 now....season 6 is currently airing in the US. grrr.
After that we watched 2 eps of Las Vegas. -I now only have 2 to go of season 2...then I can watch them all again. lol.
I got on the comp and made a new Las Vegas sig. It's very pretty. hehe.

Ness and Brett are coming over next Saturday night for a movie night. I dunno who else will be coming, we'll see. ...I really need to find a new phrase...hmm.

Well I should get to bed in a minute or two...might start reading Tom Sawyer.
I gotta get up early to go off down to the beach at McCrae.

1 Down, 50 More To Go

So yesterday Nikki and I did a lot of work on her bedroom, we actually managed to make some floorspace! lol. We went for a walk in the afternoon, and then Nikki and Scott went swimming afterwards.
-I was grumpy as I could not go swimming, as I had to do the laundrey and the dishes. I am really sick of having to be the house slave during the daytime, when it's just us kids at home. If I don't do it, it doesn't get done and then I get yelled at. Scott may get told to do it, but he doesn't and so I have to be the grown up and get things done...mostly because I don't want to be yelled at..but that usually ends up happening either way...

So anyways...
Last night Nan and Pop came over, then Alan and he had Kieran and Jade with him which was nice. Jade and I are the same age, well she's 3 months younger but we were in the same year at school and stuff. I haven't seen Jade in ages, probably about 6 months or something actually...wait maybe it was back in January or March...WOW.
Maree and Peter came later too, and then we finally got dinner started. -For some reason I was starving last night.
Jade and I watched tv, while she continued to ramble about her life and then ask me questions about mine...some bits were interesting.
We watched Kindergarten Cop, which was on tv. I LOVE that movie and have watched it every year for years, or at least whenever it's on tv. lol. It's a funny movie, silly, but funny.

They left about 11pm and then Nikki and I watched an ep of Las Vegas and then she had to go to bed, I watched one more and then went to bed and finshed The Garden of the Purple Dragon. It was really good and also sorta sad. I hate finishing books, I get sad at the end of most things, because ends are sad and then you don't have it anymore, there is nothing more to look forward too. lol. Now I am going to start reading Tom Sawyer. Nikki wants me too and I want to, it shouldn't take me too long...I hope. heh.

I slept in this morning and have pretty much sat on the comp all day. I had a shower and then came back. lol. I haven't even eaten or brushed my teeth...I will go do that and eat when I have finished this...lol.
I did get a little grumpy with mum and Nikki for going shopping...cause I wanted to go out somewhere and not stay home. Oh well.
I may go for a swim later...if it's warm enough.

Family, Vegas and Dragons

I'm kinda out of it. I hardly remember what I have been up to....that could be due to the fact that I haven't done anything though...

Well yesterday I sat around on the computer untill Scott left and then I watched the new ep of Las Vegas. It was good, with a few not so great bits and pieces...but meh.
So that's 12 now that I have seen. Sheesh! I have only seen 9 of Crossing Jordan. 10 airs sunday night. Yay. So due to the time difference, I will download that Monday night or maybe Tuesday night. I will probably wait until Thursday, when I have the house to myself to watch it.
Yay, my family is going up to Canberra next week to visit our friends up there. I don't want to go this time. I am a bit old, and sorta not really feeling comfortable in either group, plus I wanted the house to myself for a few days. I can't wait. I'm probably going to have people over at some point! yay! hehe.
-Which reminds me I need to get onto that...I have mentioned it, but I haven't done anything about details really.

So anyways...yesterday Nikki and I were home alone for most of the day and after Las Vegas, I watched The View, and then Nic and I took all the decorations of the Christmas Tree and packed them away.
We didn't do anything else really, just stayed around the house and played the Sims2 I think. lol.

Last night I watched a lot of tv. I was bored. But not when Will and Grace came on. It was a LIVE ep, it was very cute and funny. -I squeeled too loud at one point. I think the next few blocks heard me. hehe.
After that I watched a bit of Law and Order and then Nikki and I watched the first ep of Season 2 of Sliders on my dvds. Then I went and read another chapter of The Garden of the Purple Dragon, till Dad had gone to bed. I watched the next 2 eps on my Las Vegas dvds (season 2), including one of my faves, Tainted Love - the Valentine's day ep. It's too funny! hehe.
I went straight to bed after and read 2 more chapters of my book. I was going to finish it, but decided I wanted to hold onto it a little longer, even though there are other books I want to read, and went on the comp instead.
I ment to write my blog entry..but I forgot. I did write a bit more of my script though :D!

Today Nikki and I are working on cleaning up her room, and we have a few other little things to do.
Tonight Dad's family is coming over for a BBQ for Nan's birthday...I am tired of seeing my family. But oh well. We are going down to the beach to see Mum's family on Sunday. I get to drive. yay. Hopefully Scott won't complain....I will drive home maybe...We'll see.

2006 - Day 3 Part 2

Hehe. I love these stupid titles, just 'cos. lol.

So while I haven't done anything overly exciting in the last few hours, but I felt like posting again.
I'm currently listening to songs from the new Michael Buble album I bought the other day. I'm obsessed with a couple of songs. - 'Home' and 'Save The Last Dance For Me' in particular.

Yay for new 'The View'. Those girls are nuts. -I love it! haha.
Nikki came home late this arvo. They ended up just borrowing movies.
I had food, but not good food and was starving by dinner time. But Mum went shopping when she got home, so I had food to eat. yay.

Tonight I watched 'The Wizard of Oz' with Nikki. I got all caught up picking characters from my tv show to play the Wizard of Oz characters in a dream story thing for my tv show. I think I will write it after I'm done with the pilot...maybe.
I also got another idea for a totally non-tv show related story, which I may write at some point just for fun. I really like writing.
After the movie, I went and watched a few more eps of Las Vegas from my dvds. 2 of my faves!

Las Vegas is all downloaded so I will watch that tomorrow. YAY! :D
Scott is going out, so Nikki and I are on Tree duty. We have to take all the decorations off the tree, so we can throw it away. I might also try and get her out for a walk of some kind.
I'ved added a little to my script and come up with another good idea for a song for the end.

I should get to bed soon. I was just SO tired today. I really need to learn to sleep. But I always want to work on my script at night, so that makes things tricky. Oh well. There isn't really a rush. lol.

2006 - Day 3

...For lack of a better title. hehe.

So my tuesday was pretty boring really, I didn't do much of anything really. I played the Sims2 ALL day and created a whole new generation, which I have named 'The Las Vegas Generation', as I have created a Mary, a Delinda and a Samantha Jane. hehe. - Mary also has a twin brother called Nicholas..but that doesn't really have anything to do with Las Vegas...I don't think. heh.
I was also updating my iPod a lot too.

Last night was an Em's night. I caught my train and didn't have to buy a ticket, as we saw Mum driving home as Dad was driving me to the station, and she gave me her daily ticket. So yay for that.
I think I lost my sunglasses cover somewhere during all my travel. Doh. Oh well it's nothing special.
It was pretty cold yesterday and even at Em's I was glad I wore my jacket. We got pizzas. Probably not quite enough for everyone to have enough, but I think everyone got some.
We watched the Unaired Pilot of Buffy, and then we watched The Dark Age and Surprise. -I am sorta sick of season 2 now. I know they are great eps, but I have over watched them I think. *shrug*. I dunno. I would really like to watch some season 5 or 7 even.
Everyone was pretty tired and sleepy I think, but there was some silly chatting. Mostly from me..., but Elsa and I were having fun with making up narrative type comments. :P

When I got home last night, at just after 10pm, I was exhausted. I went and watched last nights Will and Grace, and NCIS that I had taped while I was out.
Then I sat around watching the pilot of Melrose Place, which was on foxtel late last night. I watched most of it, mostly because it was a semi crossover with Beverly Hills 90210. -Which I grew up with.
After a while I got bored and more sleepy, so I went to bed and read another chapter of The Garden of the Purple Dragon. And then, after fighting to get Toffs out of my room (again), I went to sleep and slept till almost 9am. Yay. But I was still totally exhausted still.
I watched Providence in widescreen which was cool, but was only half paying attention and was reading the paper.

After that I had a really really long shower...which I needed to wake up. -I was also really cold!
The stupid summer hot weather has vanished this week, I want it back so I can go swimming! wah!
I just finished watching the season 3 premire of NCIS. FINALLY! Dad's back at work today, so I had the house to myself for a while, as Scott was sleeping in late. I watched the first 2 eps and cried and laughed and grined and awwed. hehe. I love that show. I just need to see the rest now. I might wait at this point...we'll see. I don't think I can be bothered downloading them, as I am already downloading Las Vegas and Crossing Jordan...hmm. But we'll see.

My mum is now on a 'No White Bread' kick. So we have no good bread in the house and I refuse to eat wholemeal, as I hate the taste. So I will probably be really sleepy and aggitated/grumpy for the rest of the day, as I will not be eating much. grrr.

Nikki is off with Lucy today. I belive she is seeing The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe again. Lol.
There is also a new ep of the View on today. yay. -So I better hurry up and finish on the comp.

2006 - Day 2

So last night I went to bed late-ish and ended up reading for a bit. Then I couldn't sleep, even though I was exhausted. - Go figure!
So anyhoo...today was the 2nd of Jan 2006. So far 2006 is going okay. lol.
Today I got up and watched Providence as normal, then I got ready and eventually, Mum, Nikki and I went to Chadstone to go see The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. It was really really good! I mean there were some bits that semi bugged me, as they were different from the book, but when I thought about it they seemed to work easier for a movie version.
I had my doubts about the cast, but they pulled it off and I was able to accept them as my beloved characters, at least for the film.
Some parts made me jump..-mostly the bits with the wolves. lol. And there was crying. -I forgot to warn Nikki that there was sad parts, as she had only read part of the book. And she was crying, which made me feel sorry for her, but also happy that it affected her, that she was able to care about the characters and what was happening, which is one of the main things I think a movie, or book, or tv show needs to do!
I really really hope they do the next books soon! I really am looking forward to seeing the story continue on film.
I will never love the film better than the book. The book will always be my first love, but the film has a special place in my heart too, mostly because they essentially were my beloved charcters.

After the movie, we went shopping. I bought Michael Buble's cd, It's Time. (the 2nd major one). I haven't listened to it yet. I will probably do so tomorrow.
I also bought a calendar, the Desperate Housewives one. It's kinda cool. It has quotes and stuff!
I also bought me a necklace with the money I earned working on the elections back in November. It's a white gold 'C' with tiny diamonds...(at least I think they are diamonds...)
Nikki bought a bag, which she had been trying to find for ages (a bag, not the specific one..) and a pencil case.

The we headed home and all of Dad's friends where still at our place. - Them being there was the reason we went out in the first place...
They ended up staying till 8:30 or something I think. I watched Will and Grace all night on foxtel, and then watched Veronica Mars at 7:30pm and then watched a new Will and Grace.
After that Nikki and I watched a few eps of Las Vegas. In the middle of one of the eps, Kelly from Tafe called me up and we had a chat for a while, we may organise to go out sometime...if we can find suitable night..

Not much to do tomorrow, probably watching more tv, hopefully going to Em's....if someone that can drive me home is going that is...-My mum doesn't want me to catch the train that late at night.

So sweet dreams, - speaking of which, I had a really silly one about Lily, Bug and Seely from Crossing Jordan last night...it was weird and also really funny. lol.

Night night don't let the spacebugs bite :D

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Wow I so cannot believe it is now 2006! I still don't have a calendar. lol.

So NYE, during the day, I sat around, went for a swim next door. -Untill it got too crowdered.
Then came back and waited for Elsa to get here.

I picked her up at the station a little after 6:30pm. We sat around chatting, while I taped Gilmore Girls, and then we watched Will and Grace on foxtel for a bit, till it was time for the Michael Buble special on W. -I love MB. There is just something about his songs and the way he sings them. *shrugs*. lol, okay technically most aren't HIS songs, but he MAKES them his.
I showed her some stuff on the comp and we watched more Will and Grace, then I finally got around to organising dinner for Elsa, me and Nikki.
Then after we ate, we played The Game of Life. I got bored by the end....I kept getting distracted by Will and Grace. lol. There's a semi marathon on this weekend.
We started getting for midnight sometime after that, getting out the poppers, and the sparklers and we headed outside to look for the fireworks. At midnight they went off and we were actually able to see them from the other side of the street, which was pretty cool. -They were very pretty! We had some technical difficulties with our sparklers, as the wind was not helping, but we eventually got them going and we ran around the street with them and our glow sticks and my flashing stick (a light stick thingy that flashed different colors -don't think so dirty :P). hehe.
Then we came back inside and ate some more junk, Nikki went off the bed and Elsa and I attempted to make Violet Meridians. Which is a drink we decided we needed to make, named after a character we came up with for a Crossing Jordan fanfic thing. Lily was going to play her in a Stranged-like ep. And we just thought the name was perfect for a drink, so we made Blue Heavens and made them purple, it kinda worked. But we will try a few different things next time.

We then watched the Crossover eps. - The ones from 2004 (not the ones from the current seasons) and then we watched The Truth Is Out There and then As If By Fate. We had SO much fun watching them, cracking ourselves up! By the time they were done the sun had started coming up, and Toffs was ready to go outside. So I fed him, let him out and then we headed off to bed....well sorta.
We ended up talking for a few more hours in my room, before finally sleeping. It was SO hot last night and so we had the fan going so we did not die of heat stroke. I got to sleep sometime after 8:30am. lol
I woke up at 11am and then kept going back to sleep and waking up again for the next few hours at random intervals...before finally waking up at 1ish. Elsa and I ended up talking and hanging out in my room for another 2 hours, before getting up and moving. We were looking at stuff on the comp for a while, before it was time for her to go home and we dropped her off at the station.

Scott got home at 3:30am last night and went off to work today - he had to be there at 8am...he came home early cause he was sick. He spent the whole evening watching tv. It was annoying, and he's a dumbo.

I spent a while on the Sims2 tonight, then I went and listened to the Will and Grace soundtrack (cause I hadn't had enough of them this weekend. haha) and then I watched Gilmore Girls from last night and an ep of The View I had taped last week. -Duncan from Veronica Mars was in GG. I yelled out DUNCAN. I'm a nut. lol.

Tomorrow I am going to see The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe with Mum and Nikki, as Dad is having all his friends over.
I LOVE the book. It's one of my fave faves and so I am really looking forward to seeing the movie. Nic and Mum don't really know the story though, I hope I don't have to keep explaining things to Mum. Oh well. That's what dvd is for!
I also have to buy me a new calendar and look for some of the cd's and dvd's that I still wanna get.

I should probably go to bed soon...hmm. No big sleep in for me tomorrow, I'm getting up to watch Providence, and I gotta be up before Dad's friends get here...hmm.
