So there you have it, my first proper musical/theatre show of 2011 was Mary Poppins. I guess March isn't too bad. I've got Rock of Ages coming up soon, and the final show of Hairspray on May 1st. Not sure what else is coming to town this year, but I'm sure something good will pop up!
I really liked Mary Poppins, Verity Hunt-Ballad was really good, she's got a great voice and personality - which is always important. Marina Prior was very entertaining as Mrs Banks. She was really funny - which I didn't know she could be, having only ever seen her at Carols by Candlelight and the Rob Guest Endowment show. But the more she did the worse I felt for my mum cause she wasn't there the night they went. We didn't have the regular Mr Banks though, and they didn't either. I thought the kids were good. We had Kade and Scout. But the girl reminded us of Paige from Brothers & Sisters -which was weird. But they were good performers, not too over the top or annoying -except when they were meant to be.
I thought the guy that played Burt was really good. His singing wasn't fantastic, but he had acting chops, personality and was a great dancer.
The show was good, it was good that it was different from the movie, because that would be hard to do on stage. I had a few issues with things such as The Queen being there...when at the time its set -there was a king....but anyways. I thought it was really cool when they did Step in Time and Burt went over the top of the stage and up/down the sides. But the coolest thing was Mary flying out over the audience and up to the roof. that was SOOOO awesome! -She didn't fly over us, but I think that was better, cause we could see it better.
I ended up buying a mug with Supercalifragilistic written on it. It's HUGE! - it will have timeshare with the Friends coffee bowl. I didn't buy the program because Mum and Nikki had one and I don't see the need for multiples....I'll probably steal it for myself eventually anyways.
So our seats were pretty awesome. We were in row G, off to the left of the aisle, I've never sat that close at Her Majesty's Theatre before. The view was awesome, 'cept I had a really tall guy in front of me, so I had to keep moving my head. But 2 people next to us never turned up, so I moved over at intermission and then had a perfect view.
Our biggest complaint was that there was a family next to us, with 2 kids, including 1 very little girl who wouldn't SHUT UP. She talked through the whole thing, and the mother kept getting things out for her. It was ridiculous! I'm all for kids being able to go to the theatre - although I think there should be some kind of age requirement....someone brought a baby....who turned out to be quiet as a mouse! Go figure?! But people should know if their kids can handle being quiet. Its disrespectful to the actors, not the mention the high paying patrons around them. I mean it does cost over $100 bucks, so don't let your kids ruin it for people who pay good money to be there. Yes its a whole family sort of show, but its not a little kids show, its for bigger kids who can be quiet. Generally kids would act the same at the theatre as at movies, so if your kids talk or move around at the movies at lot - don't take them to live theatre!
Okay rant over....hopefully I will be able to train my kids to appreciate the theatre etiquette....or I'll leave them at home. -Haha!
Traffic was nuts getting in, and was nuts getting out too. Roads were blocked and so I had to go a different way to how I usually go, so that wasn't fun. I gave up on free parking after driving around for half an hour. I ended up going to the parking garage next to Her Majesty's Theatre. It cost 10bucks, but it was worth it in the end. Plus I did my first hook turn...I've never done one before - I don't like to drive in the city.
I got home just before Midnight, and talked to mum about it, I was way too awake so I turned on the computer, and somehow managed to end up watching half an ep of Private Practice....I only was looking up 1 scene...oh well. I got to bed at 2am...but am now totally exhausted!

Devils and shiny clothes
Last night I went to Vanessa's for another movie night. Brett nicely came and picked me up and then dropped me home again...around 4am. lol.
Me, Ness and Brett decided on pizzas and then watched 13 going on 30...aka Suddenly 30. We wanted a Jen fix and Brett had never seen it. And since Ness is gonna dress up as Jenna for my party we thought it was appropriate. And after that Nick and Kay arrived and we spent ages deciding on a 2nd movie...since it's so hard to get all of us to agree to 1 movie. hehe. So we picked The Three Musketeers, which a few of us had never seen before. -But we were pretty bored by it really, and spent most of the time arguing over the likeability of Kiefer Sutherland aka Jack Bauer. And then of course Charlie Sheen and Chris O'Donnell.
After that we watched all the bloopers for Alias ...and me and Ness almost died of laughter. I think the others found it funny too. Jennifer is so adorably...nuts. ..in fact the whole cast appears to have been insane. lol.
And then Ness put on 'the routine' from Friends. I love that bit.
Today I slept till practically noon, and then we went to the video store and then went to the movies to see 'The Devil Wears Prada' with mum and Nikki. It was funny and pretty cool. I enjoyed it.
Tomorrow I will have to go in and check when I'm working next. And maybe we'll get to do some shopping (hopefully at Chadstone) done too.

Hidey Ho All
Wow it's been a while since I've posted...
I'm currently in my second week of holidays from TAFE. ...and I'm ever so slowly getting through all the things I have to do. I'm halfway through season 3 of my Alias dvds. I'd forgotten just how much I loved season 3. -Not as much as 1 and 2..but still I loved so many of the eps...and had also forgotten what happened...although today I found myself quoting things before they had already been said. lol.
I've watched season 1 and 2 of the big box o Friends. I'm half waiting for Nikki to get back to watch the rest, since she loves it so much.
Her and mum left for Darwin on Tuesday morning. So it's just me, dad and Scott for two whole weeks...could get interesting.
Toffee seems to really miss Nikki. I do too! I keep wanting to tell her things..and then remember she's not here! -I can't wait till she gets back.
I'm finally gonna start painting my room tomorrow. I cleaned it all out today....about 7
years of crap stored up. I have boxes and bags of stuff stored in the dining room till my room is done.
I also totally freaked out the other night and almost couldn't sleep, because I had NO posters AT ALL on my walls....I haven't not had posters since I was about 8 or something. So yeah...It was very unsettling and freaky.
Tonight I'm gonna be sleeping in Nikki's room. -Her bed is comfy, so hopefully I will get a decent nights sleep...but then it always takes me forever to get used to knew sleeping locations..even though I don't mind new places...it's also gonna be weird sleeping in that room again...my old room. weird.
Well not much else to report. I watched the baseball this morning. and for once, one of my teams actually won the sport I was watching! - It never works for basketball.
I love baseball. -Always have!

My Little Day Off
Hmm. Well. I ended up staying up until 3:30am or something last night...chatting to my girls.
Though I was exhausted and a little bored by the end...they started talking about BlindMan Jim, and so I started getting a lil bored. -I just don't get the show. I watched it once, but don't share their obsession at all. lol
I got up to see Nikki off, then went back to sleep. I slept till 10:30/45 am. Then I got up, had a quick shower and then made breaky and sat down and watched ep 15 of Las Vegas on the comp. It was a great ep. I liked it a lot.
After that I put out the washing and raided dad's cd collection, trying to find a couple of particular songs, unfortunately without any success!
Then I watched Will and Grace and then The View. Then I did some more comp stuff, a little bit of photoshop stuff and all that.
I made muffins just after 3pm. -Finally. I had been meaning to make them last week.
Nikki came home, I did the dishes and then watched ER from last week. I meant to watch Providence that I taped this morning, but I ran out of time. I watched Deal or No Deal and then The Nanny and then Friends.
We had dinner and then I did some homework for my classes.
I watched a bit of the figure skating for the Olympics and then am here....
I need to go to bed soon, I gotta leave just after 8am. Fun.

A Rainy Day In The City
Today I went to the city with Faith and Elsa. I am totally exhausted! lol. My feet are killing me and my head is ready to fall off!
I got up at 8:15am, to help Nikki get ready for school. Then I watched the season 3 finale of Providence and cried! lol. It was a sad ep!
lol
Then I got ready and watched Will and Grace at 11am. I blow dried my hair for the first time in months, though because it was raining today it went all frizzy and curly anyways!
I left the house at 20 to 12 and walked in the rain to the train station. -Luckily I remembered my umbrella. -Or brolly as I have been calling it today! lol
I got my train, changed trains and got to the city first of all of us.
Elsa came and we chatted away, waiting for Faith, who had slept in! We were in the middle of some convo, when I recognise someone walking up the stairs and towards us. -It was Kayley. Which was so bizare! We both said hello and she moved on. We were kind in shock and cracked up laughing...cause it was just odd! lol
Faith eventually turned up and we headed off up Elizabeth street. We went to Red Rooster for lunch. We sat there chatting for ages! Puppy gave us pressies too! lol.
Then she ran into someone she knew as we were leaving.
After that we went to Minotaur. They are putting in stairs, so you had to go down the 'up' ramp. The space where the 'down' ramp had been was all open, it looked nasty and like it would hurt if you fell! lol
I somehow decided that with my now having employment, to buy myself a special pressie. So I bought myself the Serenity companion. (Offical).
Then we walked up Elizabeth street and eneded up going in all these shops, including a magic shop, JB and a cool dvd store that sold dvds from the US! -They had 'Yes Virginia There Is A Santa Clause' on video! Faith bought it! lol. We almost died!
They also had season 1 and 2 of Will and Grace. -The Puppy almost died. And season 4 of Law and Order. With a young Jill...who looked kinda old on the cover. It was her first season back in 1993....man that was a long time ago! hah!
After shopping, we went to Melbourne Central and went to Borders and looked at Trenchcoats in Esprit. -I want a blue one!
Then we looked around at other stuff and headed back to Bourke Street. -Since it was pouring outside, we walked through Myer.
We stopped in The Reject Shop and then went to JB.
After that it was almost 6pm, so Faith and I said goodbye to Elsa and headed for the train station.
I got home around 6:30pm. -I saw Peter Beilby getting off the train. That was odd. lol. He was in my carriage, but much further down.
-I guess it was 'seeing people you know' day or something! lol.
Toffee my adorable baby kitty somehow got into a fight today and has a huge gash on his right back paw. It's pretty bad and someone needs to take him up to the vet!
The poor baby! It was probably that mean gray cat that has been around!
I hope it doesn't get infected! Poor thing!
Tonight I watched Will and Grace at 8pm. It was part 2 of Grace's wedding. It's so weird having new eps...that are technically old. And the fact that I have seen episodes either side of that season. Stupid programing! lol.
I taped that.
Then I watched Friends..sorta and then put on 'Holiday Inn'. It made me wanna get up and dance! I miss my dancing! I wanna get my tap shoes out and dance about downstairs. -Maybe Friday! lol.
After that I watched Law and Order SVU, then because I was ordered to by my girls, I watched Blind Justice aka Blindman Jim! It was weird. lol. -And I knew people in it from eps of CJ! lol.
I have started writing another episode of my tv show. This one does not involve Crossing Jordan, so it's a little different. -I will finish the other script soon. I only have a few more things to add to that.
Tomorrow I am gonna watch 'Cabaret' and then I have to take my vids back at some point. Other than that, I am having a quiet day. Scott is going on a camp thing tomorrow, so he won't be back till Friday arvo.

I'm a Working Gal!
Today I got the call from Safeway and they gave me a job! Yay! I have to go to an induction session on the 18th and then training during that week. I am sorta nervous now! lol. But how hard can putting stuff in bags and giving change be! lol.
Also today, was Nikki's first day back at school. I got up at 8am and did her hair for her. Then I made sure she was ready and took her photo, before seeing her off. -out the front door of course, for I was still in my pj's! lol
I watched Providence and read the paper. Scott got up and watched tv.
After my shower, I checked on my download of the CJ ep. Then I watched The View and had my breffles for breaky.
I had to stop halfway through the view, because I forgot about Will and Grace. lol. So I watched that and then finished The View.
Then I put out the washing and then my CJ ep was done, so I sat down and watched that. It was a Great ep! I love it.
No more eps till March now! I hope channel 7 puts it on soon! grrrrr!
Oh well LV starts Thursday...YAY! And NCIS next week i think!
After CJ, I wrote down my thoughts again. Then I went and made lunch and watched The View. They are having their 2000th show this week and are showing all these old clips. I know I loved the show the minute I saw it back when we first got foxtel. I remember watching it every time we had that channel! lol. My how they have changed! hah.
Then I sat on the comp for most of the afternoon. Chatting with Elsa. -I've missed chatting to her!
Then I went and sat in my room for a while. I watched Friends at 6:30pm and then we had dinner. I was still hungry after my small portion of the fish and chips, so i made Mac and Cheese. lol.
After that I was on the comp a bit more, then I sat in my room listening to music and then playing Care Bear Uno and Spit with Nikki. Then I started reading a chapter of Tom Sawyer, but almost fell asleep. So I had a coffee and sat down and watched Ned and Stacey on TV1 and then some of Law and Order SVU. -I dunno why but I have become very interested in the Law and Order shows lately. I blame Jill...or Elsa....or...me! lol
I am going to the city with my girls tomorrow. Yay! I've missed them! lol.
I shold go to bed soon. But I'm kinda interested in writing some of this stuff about a new show idea I had.

The Start of The Last Week 2
Today is my last 'free' Monday! Next Monday it's back to classes. Doh!
Today I got up at 8:30am. Showered and sat down to watch the SAG awards with my breffles (waffles) with nutella and cream. Turns out the guide was wrong and the red carpet didn't start till 10am. So I got to watch Providence.
Then I sat and watched (and taped) the SAG awards red carpet and then the awards themselves.
They were pretty good. None of my fave faves were there. 'cept Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally from Will and Grace. Sean Hayes won the award. It was so sweet! Megan was teary! -I DON'T WANT WILL AND GRACE TO END!!!!!!!!!!!

Shirley Temple (Black) got the lifetime achievement award. -That was very cool. I LOVE Shirley Temple movies! And I admit that, even as a 20 year old. -the same goes for Disney! lol
After the awards I watched random tv and had lunch, before going on the computer and spending an hour trying to find the new ep of CJ to download.
I had a break and did the dishes. -Not wanting to get yelled at when my parents got home. ...even though Scott was perfectly able to do them himself! But no. -He couldn't even open the blinds downstairs! -Lazy bum! lol
After that I finally found the ep to download. -It's currently at 45% (I had to stop when I got off the comp)
I watched The Nanny on foxtel, then we had dinner. Scott and I fought over the fact that he refuses to wash his hands when they are clearly dirty before touching food that other people may want to eat!...this is an endless war we seem to have going! But I am not letting go of my morals or my principles!
After that I watched the rest of Friends, then some of an ep of Dr Quinn Medicine Woman. Then I realised that Will and Grace was not on tonight and decided to watch Serenity - The Firefly Pilot ep. -I hadn't seen any Firefly since before the 2nd screening of the movie back in August/September I don't think!
I was just on halfway through it, when I got an SMS from Elsa saying that Amy Acker was on Supernatural. So I stopped the dvd and watched that! I HAD to! I love my Amy Acker. She was one of my faves on Angel. It was so weird her being all grown up and with a kid....lol
Once that finished I watched the rest of Serenity. It was so great having my characters back again. It was kinda like seeing old friends! I forgot how much I loved Firefly!
After that I flicked channels again. And now I am on the comp.
I am hoping to watch the new ep of CJ tomorrow while Scott is out and Nikki is at school. It'll be SO great to have the house to myself for a little while again!
I should really go to bed soon...but I'm rather awake. Oh well I can sleep on saturday! lol.

Then I sat and watched (and taped) the SAG awards red carpet and then the awards themselves.
They were pretty good. None of my fave faves were there. 'cept Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally from Will and Grace. Sean Hayes won the award. It was so sweet! Megan was teary! -I DON'T WANT WILL AND GRACE TO END!!!!!!!!!!!

Shirley Temple (Black) got the lifetime achievement award. -That was very cool. I LOVE Shirley Temple movies! And I admit that, even as a 20 year old. -the same goes for Disney! lol
After the awards I watched random tv and had lunch, before going on the computer and spending an hour trying to find the new ep of CJ to download.
I had a break and did the dishes. -Not wanting to get yelled at when my parents got home. ...even though Scott was perfectly able to do them himself! But no. -He couldn't even open the blinds downstairs! -Lazy bum! lol
After that I finally found the ep to download. -It's currently at 45% (I had to stop when I got off the comp)
I watched The Nanny on foxtel, then we had dinner. Scott and I fought over the fact that he refuses to wash his hands when they are clearly dirty before touching food that other people may want to eat!...this is an endless war we seem to have going! But I am not letting go of my morals or my principles!
After that I watched the rest of Friends, then some of an ep of Dr Quinn Medicine Woman. Then I realised that Will and Grace was not on tonight and decided to watch Serenity - The Firefly Pilot ep. -I hadn't seen any Firefly since before the 2nd screening of the movie back in August/September I don't think!
I was just on halfway through it, when I got an SMS from Elsa saying that Amy Acker was on Supernatural. So I stopped the dvd and watched that! I HAD to! I love my Amy Acker. She was one of my faves on Angel. It was so weird her being all grown up and with a kid....lol
Once that finished I watched the rest of Serenity. It was so great having my characters back again. It was kinda like seeing old friends! I forgot how much I loved Firefly!
After that I flicked channels again. And now I am on the comp.
I am hoping to watch the new ep of CJ tomorrow while Scott is out and Nikki is at school. It'll be SO great to have the house to myself for a little while again!
I should really go to bed soon...but I'm rather awake. Oh well I can sleep on saturday! lol.

Fuzzy Fridays
Today I ment to get up at 8:30am...so that I could shower and stuff before Nikki's friend got here at 10am. -I was planning on watching Providence from 9.
But I stupidly turned off my alarm when it went off, and went back to sleep. I only got up because Nikki came in at 10 past 9 to wake me up! lol. So I watched most of Providence and then went off and showered. By the time I was dressed and ready, Nikki's friend Lucy was already here. lol.
So anyways...I sat on the computer and did some work on my chapter, while the girls sorted out what they wanted to do today.
The choice was between the beach and going to Luna Park. They chose Luna Park. Doh! I really really wanted to go to the beach! grr. -I am NEVER gonna get there! haha! Something does NOT want me going to the beach this year! Like seriously! lol.
So anyways, the girls played The game of life untill it was time for them to go. I wasn't gonna go to Luna Park, I was only gonna go if they went to the beach.
I was kinda okay with that anyways really. Because for the first time in ages (since my fam went to Canberra) I had the house to myself, since both Scott and Mum were at work!...as weird as that was. lol. I shut all the doors..that dad had opened...even though it was still really hot today, and turned on the air conditioning!
I watched the new ep of Las Vegas that I had. It was a great ep. Very amusing!
Then I watched the ep of the View that I taped last night, and then I watched the new ep of the view. -Which I had to start taping half way through because dad wanted me to take the stuff off the line because it was going to rain.
So when the show was finished, I went back and watched what I had missded.
After that I finished off my chapter on the computer and then Dad, Nikki and Lucy came back. They seemed to have a good time...though they were a bit hungry because Dad is a cheapass, who only let them have some chips at Maccas. I remember when we were younger and on trips and stuff, he would let us have a drink or an icecream or some kind of food. Never a drink AND some food. Even though we had been sitting in a car for ages. Parents! lol
Anyways....
so year I spent the afternoon on the computer. I was SO happy to finish my chapter! I had a lot of fun writing it, but it was nice to finally finish it! lol.
Mum went shopping and I ordered my Serenity dvd online with her credit card before she left. Yay! hehe.
She was picking up Scott from work when he was done, after she shopped. lol.
Must to my protest and whinging, we got pizzas for dinner. They were not great. lol
Nikki and I watched Friends and then we put on 'Kangeroo Jack' to watch while we ate. To my surprise the movie actually wasn't that bad! I was kinda shocked! The only really real bad thing was the kangeroo...it was just..lame and sorta bad. But Jerry wasn't playing a total idiot the whole time....though he was a STRAIGHT hairdresser!!! ...which was just weird. The whole clips on the sleaves thing...eeek. lol
I taped Will and Grace at 8pm, as KJ hadn't finished yet. After that had finished, Nikki and I watched the Shirley Temple film 'The Blue Bird'. I was told it was good, and it was...but it's not a fave. It wasn't THAT good.
After that we watched Will and Grace. I was shocked to find out that Mr Lily...as I call him, aka Ethan Sandler, actor and husband of Kathryn Hahn who plays Lily on CJ...(He's played 3 different characters on CJ so far...) was in it!
So I had to go back and make sure! hehe.
After that I watched bits of Leno and Conan as I went through some old tapes.
I have been trying to find the clips I had of Jill Hennessy on the Today show and The View that I had taped back in October. And I couldn't remember which tape they were on and couldn't find them anywhere. To my shock and luck of course...they were on the very last tape I looked at! lol. And of course I had to watch them again. hehe.
So now at 2am...I am having some quick net time before going to bed.
It's a bit cooler now and I also have the AC on....which I should really turn off...since it's 2am...

Another Scorcher!
Today was muchos hot! The high high temp made everyone in the house grouchy too!
I slept in again...forgetting about Providence...and got up at 11am. I then sat around for a few hours, doing nothing. -A little time on the comp, but not much else.
Nikki and I watched the rest of the Christmas/Party/Birthday/misc tape, and some music vids on foxtel. Then we watched The Barbie movies...the ones I LOVED as a kid. -They were made in 1987....they were kinda bad..but I still love them. lol.
After that I helped Nikki sort some stuff out in her room. Then I convinced Mum (quite easily) to take us down to Blockbuster video to get some movies. So off we went. I got, The Muppet Movie, Cabaret, The Blue Bird and Holiday Inn. Nikki got Billboard Dad (a Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen movie) and Kangaroo Jack. -I can't believe she got it! But I will HAVE to watch it....oh how I KNOW I will cringe at Jerry in it. Lol.
Mum also bought icecreams for everyone.
When we got back, I helped Nikki in her room again. -We were supposed to be looking for things to throw out for a garage sale...but I was mostly looking at old books and games that are childhood faves. -I found my old Flute music book, there was the music to Blow'in in the Wind by Bob Dylan! I need to buy a flute, I'd love to teach myself how to play again.
I watched Friends at 6:30pm. I was a little bummed that I missed the proposal ep yesterday. I love that ep! lol.
Then we had dinner, a bbq on a total fire ban day...my dad never listens to the rules.
Nikki and I watched another ep of Sliders. -We only have 1 more to go now!
Then we watched Will and Grace and then I put on the Muppet Movie. -We ate a few too many Caramello Koalas today..in honour of Australia Day. heh. I had me some Vegemite today too. ...okay I have that most days! lol.
Then I just bummed around watching tv till now.
Tomorrow we may or may not be going to the beach. It's a possibility. Nikki is having Lucy over, they may go to Luna Park instead. We'll see.
I'm gonna head to bed soon..but I have like 1 scene of my chapter left, so I wanna finish that so that I can post it tomorrow.

All By Myself - Day 2
So technically my first day home all day alone. From morning till night.
I woke up at 7:30am to let Toffee out and then went back to sleep. I taped Providence and then got up just before 10am. I showered and got dressed and then made breaky and sat here at the computer and watched the new eps of Crossing Jordan and Las Vegas FINALLY! And they were definately worth the wait! Very good ones! :D
After that I went and watched the ep of The View that I had taped, and then watched the new one on foxtel.
Then I gave Toffee his lunch :P and then walked down to Blockbuster to rent The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants. On the way home, I stopped at the BP and bought bread and milk.
When I got home I watched the taped Providence and had lunch. Then I spent the rest of the arvo listening to music and reading up on all the things on the net.
At 6:30pm I went and watched Friends. Then I made dinner and watched The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants. It was good. Maybe a little long. But good. I enjoyed it. The actors were all good, though the blond one annoyed me a little bit...just a wee bit.
Then after I did the dishes, I decided to watch an old movie I had taped off tv, I picked Father of The Bride. That has always been one of my fave movies, especially as a kid. The tape is quite old. There were ads from season 1 of Ally McBeal, Home Improvement, and Ellen. lol.
I love that movie. Though it now makes me a little sad....I will not go into why. Lets just say it has to do with my dad being nothing like Steve Martin's character.
I will go to bed soon...ish. Probably...
lol. I haven't gotten quite as far with my script or my chapter of the CJ forum fanfic as I would have liked. But I still have some time. :)
Tomorrow I have to take the dvd back, clean up the house and get ready for my...2 possibly 3 guests tomorrow night.

All Alone At Last
Uck I am SO tired. I am going to head off the bed in a minute, after I've posted this.
But I am finally all by myself! The family left just after 8 this morning. I woke up at 7:30, as they were supposed to leave between 7 and 8am. But when I got up, Mum was still in the shower and the car was not packed up. But eventually they left.
I then went and showered and sat down to watch Providence. After that I put out the washing and got ready to go to the city, eg. finished charging my iPod. I also finished downloading Las Vegas.
So at 11am, after attempting to stop Toffs from fighting with some other cat out in the street, I headed off for the station. I got there early, but all was good. It was warmish today. That was nice! :) hehe.
I got into the city at 12 noon, and met Elsa. Then Faith and Nick arrived.
We went off shopping and then to get lunch. I was really tired and sorta out of it. We chatted for a while in the food court, and even played bottle top bowling. lol. -I said I was out of it! heh.
After that we visited more shops and spent way too much time in Borders...(if that's possible), and then went and got ice cream. -It was yummy. I had Mint Choc and Cookies and Cream.
Then we went to JB and spent a while in there. I got the Las Vegas soundtrack and was going to buy The Mask of Zorro, but decided to get Win a Date With Tad Hamilton instead. lol.
Faith and Elsa insisted on buying me some cheap $2 movie, because apparently I HAD to have it. I dunno when I will watch it....someday. lol.
After that we headed for Flinders St Station, passing a trapeze thingy that there was many people lined up to try. We then said our goodbyes and each headed for our trains home. I got home just before 6:30pm. On the way home I saw a Bubble O Bill icecream wrapper lying on the ground, which made me think about that quote about Bubble Gum icecream from the Las Vegas ep -
I am obsessed with that quote. She is totally right! It's stupid. And so this icecream wrapper made me think about it again. Bubble O Bill's are icecream in the shape of a face (Bubble O Bill) and he has a ball of bubble gum for his nose. And how can you eat the icecream before it melts AND eat the gum. It would be quite prolematic! lol.
So anyways...
After I got home, just as I was walking in the front door, the phone rang and it was Mum telling me that they got to Canberra safely. -Though for some reason the car windscreen has a crack in it...
After that I sat down and relaxed and watched Friends. I was going to watch the new eps of CJ and LV when I got home, but I was too tired and so I am waiting till tomorrow morning. Yay.
I then went and bought in the washing off the line and did the dishes and watched tv. Then made dinner and watched Will and Grace. Then I washed my dinner dishes and watched the season 1 finale and the season 2 premire of Las Vegas. They are both quite sad eps. But I love them. :)
Then I just have been doing other things. I watched another ep of Veronica Mars.
Toffee is asleep, I'm gonna wake up early tomorrow to let him out and then go back to sleep....probably.
Well I think that's me all done then. Tomorrow I have a lot of things I want to do. I might go rent a movie, and buy milk and bread. And then just hang around the house.

Still Grumpy, Still Sleepy
Still hot too!
Today was warmish, but had moments of rain and cool breezes. I didn't do anything today. I didn't go to Em's as there was issues with transportation for myself. I spent the rest of the day sitting around at home.
This morning after watching Providence, I returned a call from someone at the Safeway Recruitment office, that I got yesterday, but didn't get the message till last night. She asked if I was still interested in a position and so I have a group interview next week. Hopefully that will come through! - I'm crossing my fingers.
I also got a letter from my TAFE today. They want me to go pay my fees and enrol officially on the 24th and then classes are supposed to start on the 6th...I was really hopeing they'd start a week or 2 later. Oh well.
I also printed out the form for a health care card today, so I will have to fill that out and send that off...or whatever I have to do with it.
Nikki didn't get home till almost 2pm, and she was tired and worn out. -meaning mostly grumpy.
I spent the evening watching Sliders, Will and Grace, NCIS, Gilmore Girls, Friends etc etc. Not much really. Oh and I got to hear Pauley Perrette's (Abby from NCIS) one line in Brother Bear. Lol.
Oooo and after watching Sliders tonight, I watched the rest of the ep of Law and Order, and then the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and then Conan. I wasn't going to watch Conan, but I waited to see who they had on, and it was a repeat with Molly Sims (Delinda Deline from Las Vegas) and so I HAD to watch it....and tape it. lol. I LOVE her! She is a nut...as are most cool people these days. lol.
Mum is home tomorrow, so there are a few things planned. A few things to be done before their trip on Thursday. I am meeting up with the gang in the city on Thursday, and will then come home and watch my shiny shiny new eps of Crossing Jordan and Las Vegas. I can't wait! -They are still not downloaded fully yet. Doh!

Today was warmish, but had moments of rain and cool breezes. I didn't do anything today. I didn't go to Em's as there was issues with transportation for myself. I spent the rest of the day sitting around at home.
This morning after watching Providence, I returned a call from someone at the Safeway Recruitment office, that I got yesterday, but didn't get the message till last night. She asked if I was still interested in a position and so I have a group interview next week. Hopefully that will come through! - I'm crossing my fingers.
I also got a letter from my TAFE today. They want me to go pay my fees and enrol officially on the 24th and then classes are supposed to start on the 6th...I was really hopeing they'd start a week or 2 later. Oh well.
I also printed out the form for a health care card today, so I will have to fill that out and send that off...or whatever I have to do with it.
Nikki didn't get home till almost 2pm, and she was tired and worn out. -meaning mostly grumpy.
I spent the evening watching Sliders, Will and Grace, NCIS, Gilmore Girls, Friends etc etc. Not much really. Oh and I got to hear Pauley Perrette's (Abby from NCIS) one line in Brother Bear. Lol.
Oooo and after watching Sliders tonight, I watched the rest of the ep of Law and Order, and then the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and then Conan. I wasn't going to watch Conan, but I waited to see who they had on, and it was a repeat with Molly Sims (Delinda Deline from Las Vegas) and so I HAD to watch it....and tape it. lol. I LOVE her! She is a nut...as are most cool people these days. lol.
Mum is home tomorrow, so there are a few things planned. A few things to be done before their trip on Thursday.
