So I've been pretty busy on my weekends lately, but have had at least 1 quiet night which has been good. Last weekend Ness and I did our thing Friday night and then I met her at Southland on Saturday to see The Help - which was AWESOME by the way...great cast, great writing! -but really long...not in a dragging way though! We also bought Brett's birthday pressie! A collection of fun silly stuff!
Last week I was pretty busy after work hours too. I went out to dinner with Jacinta after work on Wednesday in Glen Waverley. Picked her up at her place, and then went to Airstream at Century City. The food was good, the service was so so. Went back to her place after for some tv and ice-cream cake. I also got some advice on media players from her bro, since we had just been talking about them.
Friday night I had the place to myself. It was awesome! I had a normal dinner, and then choc ripple cake which I'd made the night before for dessert! I finished off Parenthood season 1, organised my hard drive and did some washing seeing as I would be busy all weekend.
Saturday Mum and Nicole were up and out before I was out of bed! I was at Ness' by 1pm too! We finished off Bones - I am now up to date, and was not quite prepared for that ending! SHOCKING...and also poor Mr Nigel Murray!
Kay and Nick came later and we went out for Chinese -it was yummy! Ness and I shared our meals so we had variety. Then we decided to go to Stacks for dessert, Ness and I shared choc fudge crepes, a lighter option. Best of all we didn't feel sick by the end of night from too much food :P
Ness and I watched the pilot for The New Girl - Zooey Deschanel's show before bed. It doesn't look great, but I won't write it off just yet.
Sunday morning we walked the pooches and then got ready for the theatre! We picked the Sunday matinee because back when we bought the tickets we thought it was the final show in Melb....we were wrong. We picked up Brett on the way and gave him his pressie. We were listening to Wicked on the way in honor of the last performance in Australia that was happening last night in Perth. Before the show we got drinks and snacks at the little cafe next door to the Comedy Theatre. Our seats were good, but unfortunately we had the understudy for Drew...he wasn't very good...even though I didn't really notice until intermission that it wasn't Justin....but I did feel something was off. I think I was thrown off by the fact that I wasn't sure if Francine Cain was playing Regina or not...she was. I like that the cast have taken a few creative liberties by this point...it makes it a little more fun. I like noticing things that were different. -Just booked more tickets for October, since they are offering cheap ones. We also have tickets for the official final performance in Melb...its gonna be AWESOME and CRAZY!
Since it was a matinee, we skipped the stage door and headed home. I got my stuff together and was home around 7:30pm. I watched a rather crappy ep of SNL and got organised for work.
Today work just dragged, I was unfocused and tired. I was better after some lunch though.
Ness is off on her trip tomorrow, so its going to be an interesting 3 weeks without speaking to her...and I might actually be able to get through my own dvds on the weekends. -Also my aim is to have finished Tina Fey's book by the time she gets back!

Busy Busy Busy...and Exhausted
So I've been pretty go go go non-stop lately. Last weekend I worked my butt off at my grandparent's house. We were cleaning out the garage and house because it has been sold. Saturday it was me, Mum, Geoff, Colleen, Marg, Neil, Tracey and Jay. We did a great job of getting rid of stuff into a skip. We took a little trip to Maccas for lunch...which was an adventure. Ordering for everyone was kinda problematic, and the whole experience was weird.
That night I went to Kay and Nick's...once I got there, after being stuck in Springvale rd waiting to move through a police booze bus line. -They didn't even test me!
We hate fancy pizza and tried to watch some some Gilbert and Sullivan...but as usual we got distracted after a while. We looked at all Brett and Sarah's trip pics, it was cool to see how some things had changed since I went.
Last week was a general work week for me. Thursday night I had the place to my self cause everyone else went out. It was good though, cause I got to watch some tv outside of my room.
Friday night I went straight to Vanessa's again after work. This time I tried Springvale rd instead of Westall, but I think it took longer, so I'll stick to the regular way.
Saturday I tried to sleep in, but I only was able to sleep till 9 or something. I had the place to myself after I dropped Scott at his footy in Box Hill (after taking him to the ATM first). I did 3 loads of washing, clothes and sheets - that kept me busy. In between that I watched 2 Alias commentaries...which I had forgotten were good cast ones. I also watched an ep of Parenthood. All this before getting ready to go to Vicky's that night. The night did not start out well...I stopped to buy Petrol and got out of the car and realized I was on the wrong side...which is strange and stupid seeing as I only ever buy petrol for THAT car.
THEN I got on the freeway and it kept going and going and going...and it got a little scary once Eastlink came up...anyways I found the right exit and then it got worse once I was off the freeway...I took turns in the wrong places, thought I was going the wrong direction when I was wasn't....but had my map and I got there in the end. I passed way too much country on my way...I'm a city girl...or at least an inner suburbs girl...I don't do paddocks! lol
Anyways..it was a fun night. We made yummy pizzas, and Vicky made nummy cupcakes. We watched Aladdin of all things....its hard for us all to agree on something, so if we find something...we take it!
After that, Kay, Brett, Ness and I went around the corner (not quite literally) to Krispy Kreme. The lady let us have our donuts for free -which was awesome!!! After Vicky's thing finished I ended up going to Ness' to watch more Bones, since Vicky's thing finished kinda early. I had to follow her, and had no idea where she was taking me....we passed a lot of country stuff. We watched 2 eps of Bones and then I went home.
Sunday I slept in till in till 11ish. Which was necessary! Later Mum and I went down to Bentleigh to the house again. Margaret met us down there and the 3 of us cleaned out the place. We packed up the car twice and took stuff to 2 separate op shops and then packed up stuff to take home and drop off at the salvos as well.
I was supposed to go out with Jacinta Sunday night but I was too tired and had a headache, and she was unwell herself!
I've been exhausted all week....hopefully I'll be able to sleep in on the weekend! That'll be great!

Week 2
So I had a good first week at Monash. There has been lots of info to remember and things to figure out. I have notes, but its hard to keep those updated. I guess it is just going to take a while to make things CLICK.
Friday was a good day. We had free dress with fundraising for Jeans for Genes day. So I got to wear my jeans and donate a dollar...like in high school. hah.
We also had a big morning tea for 2 birthdays. People made stuff and it was quite a spread! However, I'm not into sandwiches and cheese platters. But the sweeter stuff was nice. Next time I'll try and make something nice, I ran out of time by going out Thursday night. Jacinta and I went to La Porchetta for dinner. I went over after work since she's just down the road from there. It was fun, but I can't seem to finish a meal anymore. Which is good, but also annoying.
Saturday night was group night at Ness'. We had chicken and chips for tea, which again was too much! Plus there was excellent sweets...I just wish I had time to digest my dinner before being forced to eat Vicky's lemon meringue pie. The plate turned up while I was still eating my tea.
We did unofficial Queen Latifah musical night...we had unknowingly picked the 2 musicals she's in to watch - Chicago and Hairspray. -I swear that was nobody's intention. But everything else got vetoed, by at least 1 person.
I stayed over and Ness and I browsed the Helpman Awards -which were sucky in my opinion. Sunday we watched some high quality Bones.
I got home mid afternoon, had some tea while I listened to an old Alias commentary, and organised myself for work. I had some quality music time, listening to Book of Mormon and Stephanie J Block's album. SOOO different, but both SOOO good.
Today was a quiet day at work, I'm still figuring things out with the work, its a bit confusing, but I think I'm starting to get it.
I think the novelty of having a job has already worn off...but I haven't been paid yet, so that might come back! The only prob is trying to find to go shopping for new work clothes. I have enough to make do with for now, but I'm gonna get really sick of wearing the same thing every week.

A Little Bit of Theatre
So I was kept quite entertained last week, caught up with Ness a few times, and Jacinta as well!
Sunday night I finally saw the last Harry Potter film. It was really good! But then again, I don't really remember much from the book as its been years since I read it, so my opinion may change if I get around to re-reading the books...which I would like to do...but I'll have to complete my collection, I only have the last 3.
We went to Century City at the Glen. It was still really busy, I'm glad I decided to book online in the end. It just meant I could pick decent seats. Which at 18 bucks a movie these days, you want a good seat! I can't believe it costs almost 20 bucks for a regular no frills 2D movie!
Tuesday I had another appointment at Centrelink, all that is going along pretty well. But I still haven't had any job interviews. In the evening I went down to Ness' and we watched some quality Bones. We have become addicted to the Oreo choc shakes from Maccas, but when we went out to get some they didn't have any chocolate, so we had to have vanilla ones. They were nice, but not quite the same.
Wednesday, Jacinta came over and we watched some old SNL and odd tv here and there. That night I went to the arts centre to see Anything Goes with Amanda Harrison of Wicked. I had become obsessed with this show after seeing it at the Tonys. Then when reading the paper on Monday, I came across an article about Amanda doing it THIS WEEK ONLY at the arts centre. So I knew I HAD to go, and Mum was in too. Since Ness was working every other day 'cept Wednesday, that made the decision about which night to go easy. The tickets were pretty cheap which was good, and even though we were 3 rows from the back we still had a great view of the stage...and the seats in front of us were empty which was awesome!
The show was a lot of fun, Amanda was awesome as Reno. The rest of the cast were pretty talented too! The girl that played Erma was great, and Billy and Moonface Martin was great too! Overall it was a limited budget production, so there were not really proper sets or multiple costumes, but in terms of production value it still was really top notch when it came to the performances. There wasn't quite as much tapping as I would have liked, but you can't have everything!
Now I'll just have to wait for the Broadway production's cast recording to come out, so I can listen to the songs whenever I want!

Shopping and More Shopping!
Wow, I have sort of forgotten about blogging in the last few weeks. But I've been kinda busy too - in some ways anyways.
I finally did get my appointment on the Thursday, even though they were running late, so they didn't call till an hour later! -I was getting nervous for bit there....
It went pretty well, and seemed not too complicated for them to do over the phone. Then I just had to go to the recruitment agency on the Tuesday...which turned out to be not what I expected at all. I had an appointment, so I thought I'd get to chat to a person about jobs...but nope. The girl at the desk took my resume, gave me a job seeker ID, and I was done. It seems kinda stupid to me, but whatever.
Then I had to go into Centrelink that arvo to hand in my forms. I did and it took a while, but finally I was done. I got paid on Wednesday. including back pay to the start of the month. So that was great, I was able to pay my credit card bills and phone bill.
Wednesday I went to Jacinta's, and we wanted some quality, and some very bad SNL. Good times!
On Thursday, I went to Chadstone with mum to look for some new interview clothes. Seeing as I have to apply for 10 jobs a fortnight now, in order to get my payments. We looked in Myer, and found a top and cardigan which was good. But no luck with skirts. We looked around a bit more, and had lunch, and then headed over to visit Grandma. She was upset about a letter John had sent...which is what has been bothering the family ever since.... he wants to take away my mum's power of attorney....He doesn't want to sell the house...his reasons for all this remain unclear...some say its about money, some say he just wants to fight. Anyways...it upset my Grandmother that he said she had dementia and was incompetent and drugged up....she's very with it in my opinion...especially compared to all those other people there!
So after that we raced off to see Mum's solicitor.
She has to go to VCAT this week for the hearing. Its 3 siblings against 1, so it shouldn't be a problem...and my Grandma wants mum to do it, so things should go our way....but you never know.
Last weekend, Ness and I did our thing Friday night, watched some quality Bones....and a terrible movie because Janel Moloney was in it....oh the things she makes us watch to see her!
Saturday night it was just us 3 sibs home, Nikki was having her friend over, then Scott said he was having all his friends over...I protested. Then he started bothering me, when I was out in the other room, and it caused a fight. My brother is acting like he is entitled to everything just because he has a job...and is a man. He has this terribly skewed view...which I blame on my dad...he used to act that way. But my bro was saying some very nasty and hurtful things...ass.
I'd offered to take Nikki up to get Maccas for dinner...we picked up her friend on the way, and Nic asked if I had money...I did...MY money. But it was my choice to shout them, and take them. But Nic was totally rude about it. She fussed when I asked her to hold my drink while I drove the car...because that car doesn't have cup holders! She wouldn't carry the bags either! And was not 1 bit grateful for the whole thing...next time I'll go by myself!
Didn't do much this week, but had the whole house to myself on Thursday, so I watched some movies and dvds. But then got ditched by the family for dinner, so wasn't so happy about that...I'd actually gotten bored having the place to myself!
Friday I went to DFO with Ness....and found SO many bargins! I went with a plan to get jeans and skechers....but managed to get jeans and a singlet for only $20 at just jeans! CRAZY! I had to get skechers to replace the ones I had to take overseas, that had to be thrown out when I got back...cause they smelled. But my new ones are pretty and purple! I also got a few new long sleeved tops from Giordano.
We headed back to Ness' and did moviepalooza! We watched the newer Annie with Kristin Chenoweth...and lots of other tv people. Then we got dinner....with a side trip to maccas for oreo milkshakes, and watched the comedy ladies emmy roundtable, which was well worth the hour it took to watch -funny stuff! Then we headed down to JB...and I ended up buying a few movies cause they had a buy 3 pay for 2 deal.
After that we watched a movie we'd been trying to find for ages, but it still hasn't come out. Its Kind of a Funny Story. Great movie. After that we watched Yes Man, then He's Just Not That Into You, and then Valentine's Day....by this time it was 4:30am and by the time I got home and in bed it was about 5:30am!
I only slept in a bit, but wanted to go to Target with mum, so I was up at 11am. I then went on to buy some much needed new bras! Go figure, Target had good ones and cheap! I spent the rest of the day dozy...but watched Julie and Julia that night with mum, and then slept for a long time yesterday...and again today.
Last night Jacinta and I went out to dinner at Michaelangelos in Burwood. The food was good and we had coffees and desserts. We did a trip up to Kmart cause she wanted to get stuff out of her locker, then we headed back to my place for some random chatting and tv time.
All last week I had not been sleeping well. I have been having trouble falling asleep, and then waking up early! Finally my lack of sleep on Friday night seems to have reset that. I am finding it easier to fall asleep, and also am able to sleep in. But now I'm having all these weird dreams, but not just weird....scary and unsettling things are happening too! Last night I had one about how I ran out of petrol in the car, and then got a ticket for not putting the new registration sticker on....and also one about sharks right outside the backdoor of a beach side house! I miss the nice dreams.
Got a few things on the agenda this week...should be an interesting week.

Big Weekend Fun.
So I’ve been extra busy and barely at home all weekend. It was the Queen’s birthday long weekend, but it was also Ness’ birthday on Sunday. I went down Friday and we did our thing, got some Chinese food for dinner, and watched some more Bones.
Saturday we slept in, watched some silly tv (abc...enough said), walked the pooches, and then got ourselves glammed up for the Theatre. We headed into the city early, to look at Myer and a few other shops. There wasn’t really a lot to look at though – which was good for me, seeing as I am not in a position to buy anything. Lol. But it was fun to mock all the crazy clothes and the people wearing them!!
We met up with Ness’ friends and headed to the Elephant and the Wheelbarrow. Kay and Nick turned up not much later. We had a nice pub dinner, I got my staple fish and chips – what can I say, I know what I like...even if that makes me lame and unoriginal :P After dinner we headed to our little cafĂ© on Bourke for coffee and cakes etc.
It was then time to go to the Comedy Theatre to see Rock of Ages. We had great seats, 3 in row D and 3 in row E. Which in some ways was much better than sitting in a long row - this way we could all talk instead of having people stuck on the ends. I had a great view too, Ness was in front of me, so no giant people to look around!
We did however have annoying people sitting behind me. They were singing along, and talking while stuff was going on...where’s the respect?! So RUDE!
After the show, we headed to the stage door and got a few of the actors to sign our programs. Kay was super excited to meet one of them that she knows from other stuff...see its not just me :P hehe.
I headed back to Ness’, hid her pressie, got all my stuff and headed home.
I ended up sleeping in a lot Sunday, and didn’t get out of bed till noon or something. I was a bit of a zombie all day, watched some tv, did some laundry, and just chillaxed.

Yesterday was a public holiday, so everybody was home, but I was up first at 9am, so I could be organized for the Tonys which started at 10. I misjudged the time, so the whole thing didn’t fit on the one disc, not in great quality, so I’ll have to put the last half hour on another disc.
I then capped off the weekend with another trip down to Ness’ for Tony night – which may become an annual tradition!

Been Busy
So I've had a few things on this past week, which made me busy...for my current lifestyle. hah!
Not a lot going on earlier in the week, went to visit my Grandma on Tuesday, had my annual doctors check up at Peter Mac in the city. My appointment was for 2:30 and we drove in, got weighed (eeek) and measured (I was a whole cm taller than I thought - which for me is excellent!), then waited about an hour for my appointment...finally went in, discussed my diet, general health, had my blood pressure taken, chest listened to, etc...and I was done. It was a little silly and felt kinda pointless.
Stopped in at Camberwell on the way home, to get dinner, ran into a girl I used to work with a Safeway, which was nice.
Saturday night Ness and I did our thing, finished off Rizzoli and Isles...started the next season of Bones...and got home just in time to be in my bed at 5am...She held me hostage! I slept in till about 10:30 and dozed till it was time to move the car when my mum and sis went too the footy. Spent the arvo mucking around on my computer, Dad came over and mowed the lawns. I had a bad sinus headache all arvo, but tea made it go away.
Caught up with Jacinta tonight, we went to Century City in Glen Waverley to see Pirates of the Caribbean 4. We got burgers for dinner - they were pretty good. The movie was good. It was in 3D - it wasn't overly worth it, but it did look really pretty and had some good 3D moments. The story itself was okay - I'm not a huge Penelope Cruz fan, and it wasn't as good as the last 3 in my opinion, but still very good.
But the cinema was really really cold! I was wearing my American Eagle jumper, and I had to zip it all the up and pull the neck right up! SOOOO cold. Why are cinemas always weird temperatures?! When I went to Hoyts in Frankston it was really really hot! Crazy!
Not a lot planned for the week ahead. Busy weekend a head though.
Still no job prospects...which really really sucks!

Weddingpalooza Weekend
So this past week I’ve been pretty quiet. Went over to Jacinta’s on Wednesday and we watched the move RED with Helen Mirren, Bruce Willis and Mary Louise Parker. It was great! I knew it would be good, but I loved it! I’d been meaning to see it since New York, so I was glad I finally got a chance. We then decided to watch Helen Mirren’s episode of Saturday Night Live. –It was a great one! And then an old one with Tina Fey, back when Amy Poehler was still in it! We definitely got our fix of the funny!
Friday arvo I went down to Ness’. Friday’s are always chock-a-block for us - with all the US Thursday shows and whatever else we plan on watching. This week was also the big Shondaland Weddingpalooza! We started out small, with quality Parks and Recreation – although I still hate Parker Posey! We did the 30Rock finale – my 2nd season finale for the season. They will all start fading out now. No idea what I’ll be watching this time next month!
We ended up watching our ‘Dinner show’ after dinner…but that’s okay, made it easier to concentrate on what was going on in Rizzoli and Isles. Then we moved onto Weddingpalooza! I liked the Grey’s weddings better than I thought I would…I did feel they stole Charlotte and Cooper’s thunder a little though! Mostly I was just glad that Meredith and Derek made it legal…I mean come on! I thought Charlotte’s dress was the nicest of the three. –It hate that I feel the need to compare the two shows so much.
And I gotta point out these were the at least the 6th and 7th tv weddings for this season alone! Crazy! I’m so over weddings!
Then we moved onto the last few eps of season 3 of Bones. I kinda knew what was coming, but at the same time had no idea. –Kay and Nick always talked about how they stopped watching Bones after the whole Zack thing, so I knew he was gonna turn out to do something bad, but I never knew specifics, and it was just really really SAD. Maybe it was cause I was super tired, but I was this close to getting teary! Maybe it was the tired.

And just when I thought we were done with the weddings, we went to see Something Borrowed with Kate Hudson, Ginnifer Goodwin and John Krasinski in it on Saturday, and they spent way too much of the movie talking about weddings….couldn’t win! It was a good movie though. But they had many many scenes at the Shake Shack in Madison Square Park in NYC, which was right around the corner from where we stayed. They have the BEST shakes there and I am now craving them like crazy!!!
I got home around dinner time which was kinda refreshing, meant everything was unpacked and organized way before time for bed! I spent most of the evening trying to access the super slow internet. It went slow on Friday, I used up the last few mgs downloading Raising Hope. So that’s 11 days before it comes back again…I really gotta get my own internet! It took at least an hour to load a video that only went for 3 minutes! So the next week is gonna be A LOT of fun. NOT! At least I have last week’s TV to entertain me for a while.
Today I slept in, and spent the arvo on the computer. Mother’s Day doesn’t mean too much around here. Even my sis didn’t do anything this year! -Can’t really change anything in my family at this point.
I really can’t believe how time has flown this year. I thought I’d be better off by now, not just money-wise. I thought I’d have a job and finally some independence. I thought I’d be done wearing the same old clothes, and being thrifty, and missing out. Maybe that just means that when things work out they’ll work out well…or maybe I’m just doomed to be left behind my whole life!

Quiet Times
Well so much for the dancing thing...I haven't done that in weeks! I am still playing Wii almost every day though. The cold weather has come in and I am feeling less energetic. I'm thinking about getting back into the walking...maybe.
Nikki's birthday was last week, the 9th. I was at Ness', stayed over Friday night and we went shopping on Saturday. I bought a pair of slippers, and new black boots. We then proceeded to watch an additional 6 episodes of Bones, after 6 the night before. -She has me hooked...and its trouble, cause I'm gonna have to keep myself away from spoilers...and new eps! haha.
So after a great weekend, last week sucked! We basically had no internet for a week cause we used it all up with a whole week to go. After a couple of days of not being able to do anything or download anything, I was in hell! At least I could access twitter...otherwise I would have been completely miserable! I can't believe with all this my parents still haven't done anything about getting a higher internet limit! I've offered to pay towards it and still nothing! By Thursday I was ready to bang my head against a brick wall. I imagine it is only gonna get worse each month, and so will probably use our quota by halfway through this month.
To make matters even worse last week, my external hard drive decided to act up and not work, so I couldn't even spend my time watching stuff stored on it, like old SNL or anything! I've spent the past few days trying to get the important stuff off it in case it gets lost when I try fixing it.
This weekend Ness and I are going to see Rock of Ages. I don't know a whole lot about it, other than its all 80's rock ballads - which should be good! Today Mum and I went to Chadstone in order to find something to wear. It was pretty quiet for school holidays -which was awesome! We tried Myer, but they had nothing. I bought some cheap makeup from Priceline, and we looked around a few more shops, before finally finding a few options at Just Jeans. I ended up getting a dress which Mum suggested -which is why I don't go shopping alone...I tend to not like stuff on my own. We stopped in to visit my Grandma after shopping, because Mum had to deliver a check there anyways. So we had a little chat, then stopped at Ashburton on the way home to get a few groceries. We got a few things cheap at Not Quite Right. Bought a bunch of things which only cost 18bucks in the end -which is awesome. But I dropped the thing of pasta sauce and it went all over the floor...it was icky, and it went all over my mum's shoe...I felt bad for the poor guy that had to clean it up.
Still nothing on the job front. The net was too slow to look last week. I did have an interview a couple of weeks ago, the job sounded sorta ok, but it was a very small office and was all the way in Moorabbin, which would get annoying to drive to all the time. Ideally I'd really like to work in the city. But we'll see what turns up.

April
Wow, time really flies! I always thought I'd have a job by April...but I guess I'm not really trying. Not sure what that's all about. I gotta stop procrastinating and get on with it.
So last Thursday I went over to Jacinta's. We did SNL day. We watched the Best of Mike Myers, plus a few recent eps, and then an old old ep from 1996 with Jim Carrey. It was nice to get out. -We didn't get up to anything this week, but hopefully will find something to do next week.
This week, I had a pretty quiet week. Went to visit my Grandma with my Mum on Sunday and we sat out on the terrace in the sunshine. It was nice. We talked about everyone. We talked about my sister's trip, and about my trip and places we'd like to go. We then started talking about old movies and books. We ended up talking heaps about Gone With The Wind and Little Women, and Elizabeth Taylor. It was really nice, I don't have a lot to say about myself. I've never been good at talking about myself, or talking myself up. I think that might be one of my issues with jobs. I can talk about many topics, but its hard to talk about myself. I'm not that interesting really. Its funny, for someone who talks a lot...and I mean A LOT, haha, I don't really talk about much at all.
Anyways...I went to Ness' on Monday night cause she was working over the weekend. It was a little confusing for our heads to get used to MONDAY, but we didn't take long to get into our usual routine, of Bones and The Good Guys. After that we watched 30Rock to cheer us up after Bones, and then ended up watching Pushing Daisies cause it was on tv, one of my faves too!
The internet usage is going like crazy in my house...which I don't have a problem with, its the fact that no one seems interested in doing anything about it. I've offered to contribute to getting more, I've looked up alternatives...but I can't call them up and change the plan myself...if that is an option. I'm tired of being the only one that looks at the usage and curbs my use, when everyone else just does what they like. My sister got a laptop and that pushed up the use, then my bro got his iPhone, and Xbox and now his laptop....and yet our internet plan has stayed the same over this past year. We constantly go over the limit before the end of the month, and nobody seems to care! This is what I hate about my family, we outgrow something, and we just spend the rest of our lives trying to squeeze into something small - like our house, or car, or bookshelves...
Anyways...this month we used 30% in 6 days, and 50% in less than 2 weeks...so I'm not talking about a little bit extra, I'm talking about TONS more downloads than usual. I have been downloading my tv for about 5 years now, and can't go backwards! My brother contributes nothing to the house - and ok, I don't contribute much these days either, but I'm will to...if he does. As a media student, I know what uses more and stuff, and we are a media heavy family....nothing wrong with that, if we can support our habits...but we can't, or won't.
Okay enough ranting for me.
Football season is back, so things are getting crazy in my house. Las Saturday night I was all set up to amuse myself watching new Grey's and PPP in my room....but my dad decided to be noisy right outside my door...He's so annoying and rude sometimes. I found an old story I had started writing about my family. -I always had plans to write a book about my life and my family when I was younger. This one from about 5 years ago, where I was describing each family member, including myself. Not show off, but I thought it was quite well written, if I do say so myself. haha. But there was one line about my dad that kinda sent a shiver down my spine. I referred to him as "A power hungry villain". I can think of a few other ways to describe him now, but "villain" is interesting. It made me think. I'm not sure if that is true, but its dark nonetheless. Sometimes I forget just how long I have been fighting with him. Its part of why my sister hates me. She blames me for every fight my parents have, because they used to fight over me...Mum would defend me, and my dad would then fight with her. I can see where she's coming from, but I don't think my sister will ever really understand.
Okay, enough of that gloomy topic....back to footy, its good cause it means people are home less on the weekends -which will come in real handy when I finally DO get a job. It is also bad because everyone gets so worked up about it. They turn into people that act completely crazy, rationality goes out the window.
Anyways....The sooner I get out of here the better I guess.

Musical Soundtracks and Personal Space
So I've been busy this week. I hung out with Ness Tuesday night and Wednesday. Thursday night Jacinta and I went to see Rango, it wasn't fantastic, but it was funny at times. I thought the references were a tad over the heads of kids. Plus there wasn't enough to keep kids entertained. But it was still worth seeing for 7 bucks! lol.
Last night Ness and I did Bones/Thursday night TV night. We did chocolatepalooza, but we didn't make it through all of it....because we know when to stop! A very good sign. lol.
My amazon order arrived on Wednesday, so I now have more dvds to add to the watchlist. I also got the Addams Family original cast recording. Its nice to finally have my own copy. I played it in the car yesterday. I really loved that show, and would have seen it again if I could have.
I also bought the Australian cast recording of Mary Poppins thursday night. I haven't listened to all of it yet. Its a little odd with the applause from the audience at the end of songs, but its still good.
I also had to take my ER season 13 dvds back to JB on thursday, to get them replaced because one of the eps had faults. But the new copy seems to work properly. Now I've only got seasons 14 and 15 to buy/watch. That'll be fun. Hopefully they'll go on special sometime soonish.
Last week was fun with super duper slow internet, but luckily there wasn't much to download. But it set me back with my job searching. So I'll try to put in some time this weekend and apply for some. Yes I need money, yes I need something to do....but it has to be something decent, in terms of description/tasks.
I forgot I was going to post a comment about this woman at my Grandma's home...she has serious boundaries issues. Everytime I see her she ends up touching me. She put her hand through the open car window and patted my head...ick. Maybe I just have extra sensitive personal space issues. But I don't like total strangers touching my head or shoulders. Its creepy. I'm not a hugger...I was when I was a kid, but not now. I was never a huggy teen either. So keep your distance lady - its not nice!
