So I've been busy this week. I hung out with Ness Tuesday night and Wednesday. Thursday night Jacinta and I went to see Rango, it wasn't fantastic, but it was funny at times. I thought the references were a tad over the heads of kids. Plus there wasn't enough to keep kids entertained. But it was still worth seeing for 7 bucks! lol.
Last night Ness and I did Bones/Thursday night TV night. We did chocolatepalooza, but we didn't make it through all of it....because we know when to stop! A very good sign. lol.
My amazon order arrived on Wednesday, so I now have more dvds to add to the watchlist. I also got the Addams Family original cast recording. Its nice to finally have my own copy. I played it in the car yesterday. I really loved that show, and would have seen it again if I could have.
I also bought the Australian cast recording of Mary Poppins thursday night. I haven't listened to all of it yet. Its a little odd with the applause from the audience at the end of songs, but its still good.
I also had to take my ER season 13 dvds back to JB on thursday, to get them replaced because one of the eps had faults. But the new copy seems to work properly. Now I've only got seasons 14 and 15 to buy/watch. That'll be fun. Hopefully they'll go on special sometime soonish.
Last week was fun with super duper slow internet, but luckily there wasn't much to download. But it set me back with my job searching. So I'll try to put in some time this weekend and apply for some. Yes I need money, yes I need something to do....but it has to be something decent, in terms of description/tasks.
I forgot I was going to post a comment about this woman at my Grandma's home...she has serious boundaries issues. Everytime I see her she ends up touching me. She put her hand through the open car window and patted my head...ick. Maybe I just have extra sensitive personal space issues. But I don't like total strangers touching my head or shoulders. Its creepy. I'm not a hugger...I was when I was a kid, but not now. I was never a huggy teen either. So keep your distance lady - its not nice!

Wasting Time
Okay, I guess now is the point where I need to stop putting it off, and really get hard into the job search. I've got to see what's out there, and make the decision which direction I want to take. I have all the time to dedicate to the right job. -And by RIGHT job, I don't mean the dream job, but one that I can learn, grow in, and be happy doing on a daily basis.
While I really enjoyed working for the AEC, I think the fact that I knew I wasn't going to be doing it for longer than those couple of months, meant I didn't get too sick of it. -Plus I was always doing something different and learning new skills.
Additionally, I really liked working with the group of people there everyday. I felt needed and appreciated, so that made me happy.
Ideally I'd love to find a job new media related, but I am open to other things. So we'll see what happens. Hopefully I should get a little more interest this time around, seeing as how I've got office experiance now.
In other news, I have been pretty quiet. While I am not completely broke, I am holding onto all the money I earned from my last job with the VEC in December, for paying my monthly bills and other needs. I am still paying off the trip...but once I get regular work I should be able to take care of that pretty quick.
I worked last week on Australia Day with the girls from the AEC on a citizenship ceremony. It was cool to see that in action, and the work was stuff I used to do there -so that was easy to get back into.
I've been busy on my weekends, hanging out with Ness, doing our thing. The other week, we went bowling with Kay, Nick and Brett, and had dinner at Stacks. That was fun. I mean I suck at bowling, but its fun to play.
I won't run out of dvds to watch for a while, I've still got 1 season of Damages, 2 of ER, and 1 of Grey's to watch, so I'm set for a while. - Plus Private Practice when that gets cheap on Amazon again.
I've also started reading again. -My old summer hobby. I'm reading To Kill A Mockingbird again...for the zillionth time. I used to read it every summer, but I'm pretty sure I skipped last year. I love that book! I wish my sis didn't hate it so much! - I wish she'd get over her anger/hating everything issues. She's driving me up the wall. -I wouldn't care so much, if we were not watching so many dvds or playing wii games together.
I don't think my summer diet is going as well this year. It hasn't been as hot, so my appetite is more normal. I am starting to cut back again, but its hard sometimes. I'm trying out some stretching moves, which I can feel helping. I must try to cut back on the chocolate and the lemonade...

Saving Trees???
Okay so I haven't posted here in.....months. But truthfully there hasn't been too much to post about.
'Cept that I saw Wicked and LOVED it. I'm totally hooked and hope they do a movie soon with the originals.
Today after Uni, I was bored and decided to clean out my closet. I'd already cleaned out some old clothes from my draws and they were all over my floor, so I thought I'd keep going. Its amazing some of the stuff you wind up holding onto! I have clothes in there that I haven't worn for at least 2 years and will definately never wear again! Which is REALLY stupid since my closet is the size of a shoebox.
After clearing out my closet, I decided to put away some of my summer shoes I had in boxes on the floor of my room back into the closet where they belonged in the first place. Under them I found a few cardboard boxes that I'd filled with my stuff when I'd completely packed up my room last November when I got my new bed....or didn't....
In these boxes I found 2 (yes TWO!) folders filled with pages and pages of printed out Buffy quotes! Insane! So I immediately when outside and threw them in the recycling. Then I found a whole bunch of old Alias articles and Buffy articles and other misc tv articles. Most I will throw out but there's a couple I might hold on to. I'll see how it goes.
Some of the pages are so old that they have things about people from Baywatch on them! There's also a lot of old WB series stuff and Party of Five stuff, and ER stuff too. And even an article with Marla Sokolof.
It's insane that I'd kept this stuff. But I guess back in my teen years...or late teens it all seemed really important that I keep it. -Even though I haven't wanted to re-read it!

My Little Day Off
Hmm. Well. I ended up staying up until 3:30am or something last night...chatting to my girls.
Though I was exhausted and a little bored by the end...they started talking about BlindMan Jim, and so I started getting a lil bored. -I just don't get the show. I watched it once, but don't share their obsession at all. lol
I got up to see Nikki off, then went back to sleep. I slept till 10:30/45 am. Then I got up, had a quick shower and then made breaky and sat down and watched ep 15 of Las Vegas on the comp. It was a great ep. I liked it a lot.
After that I put out the washing and raided dad's cd collection, trying to find a couple of particular songs, unfortunately without any success!
Then I watched Will and Grace and then The View. Then I did some more comp stuff, a little bit of photoshop stuff and all that.
I made muffins just after 3pm. -Finally. I had been meaning to make them last week.
Nikki came home, I did the dishes and then watched ER from last week. I meant to watch Providence that I taped this morning, but I ran out of time. I watched Deal or No Deal and then The Nanny and then Friends.
We had dinner and then I did some homework for my classes.
I watched a bit of the figure skating for the Olympics and then am here....
I need to go to bed soon, I gotta leave just after 8am. Fun.

Hot, Tired, Achey, and They Questioned The Quality of My CJ!
Okay so today was day 2 of Carlie's back to school special. I got up at 7am..after going to bed just before midnight. I got some decent sleep, but it was bloody freezing in the morning!
I couldn't drink my coffee. -For some reason it just tasted all bad and icky. But I did have cinnamon on toast (I blame Jordan) and nutella, so I was okay for the day.
I caught the 8:26am train from my station. -I got a lift. Yay for someone being home in the mornings this week!
I met Jacinta at Richmond station again and we went to class (via the 2nd train trip of course).
Once again there was too many people for the classroom, so it was a bit squishy.
We all wrote our names and numbers and stuff down on the role. We have another new teacher. Paul. He seems nice enough.
We did a 'introduce yourself' thing. I of course admitted my tv obsession and that Crossing Jordan was my fave show. -He didn't seem too appealed by the show. -Saying he'd wonderered if it 'could' be someone's fave show. -I almost yelled yes! lol.
I also went on about people not saying my name right. lol. -I am never getting over it!
After class we picked up our diarys and went to the station. I got the number of the machine that stole my money on Monday. Then I went to the city, Faith and Elsa were meeting at 12:3opm, so I went to the atm to check my balance - a mere $34..eeek.
Then I bought some cookies and waited at the usual spot.
They came, we chatted. We went in search of lunch. They got sushi and we went to macca's and I got my food and we sat and chatted some more. -There was some exchanging of dvds and other movies etc.
After that we went to Melbourne central and then after a failed attempt at getting Serenity tins for Elsa and Faith -They were sold out in like 3 hours! It's MADNESS! Madness I tell you!
hehe.
We there perused some other stores. We headed down to JB in bourke street and Faith bought a copy there, she got a slip cover and a poster too!
Then we met up with Karen for a short while, then headed to Crown to see if Sanity had anything. They didn't even know anything about it. -So helpful.
We played in spaceship thing at the Warner Bros store and looked at lotsa cool stuff. We rambled about how the names they use for all those name things are not fair and how some are just stupid!
We also then spent a great deal of time looking at all these beanie bears. -It was quite amusing.
We then walked back to Minotaur. -My feet were killing me!
Then we went to the other JB and then back to Melb central. We got milkshake thingies from 31 Baskins and Robins. -They were yummy.
While we were sitting there, Leanne walked past, she said hello. -It was weird.
And then not too much later, Peter Beilby walked past.
-it was quite an odd day!
After that we headed to the station to go home. via The Reject shop.
I got home just after 6:30pm, I was hot - it was supposed to be 35 today. I was a bit tired and I was also in alot of pain! My feet were broken! lol.
-It was hot so I wore my sandaly shoes, they ain't too good for the walking!
I ended up having a shower, and felt much better after.
I then watched Will and Grace from yesterday and then todays ep. Then I watched House, while I read the paper. Then I watched NCIS and taped ER. I cried less than 5 minutes into NCIS, even though I had seen it before! -It was way sad! But also really funny! Sometimes I was crying while I was laughing.
Then I watched the outtakes on my Serenity dvd, and then I am here.
I gotta charge up my iPod before tomorrow. Another 7am start to my day for another 9:30am class. Stupid 9:30 starts! and another 5 hour class too! Grrr. -I hope they shorten it a tad!...I really really hope!
More Las Vegas tomorrow night. Looks like they are skipping the crossover again, like last year. They just didn't learn! I am very angry and grumpy!
I guess CJ ain't coming back till mid year! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Curse The Heat!
Oh how I long for the beach! I have only been once all summer. I want my beach dang nabbit! lol.
Wow I was so busy chatting and writing bits of my chapter last night that I forgot my post again. woops.
So yeah....I didn't get to bed till 3am Thursday night (well friday morning technically), I got up and watched Providence. Then I bummed around. I sat on the computer, and I played the Sims2, and I wrote more of my chapter and did some more work for the website. That's pretty much it. I watched the View ofcourse too. I was also going through one of my old Alias tapes, and found an ad for the season 3 premire of Crossing Jordan - Devil May Care. I squeeled. hehe. I now have the ad for the season 2 finale and the season 3 premire. weird.
I got a call from the Safeway people again. They gave me a 2nd interview, for next week. YAY. I probably won't get a job, but I will try to be optimistic. lol.
Last night we had fish and chips - FINALLY! I was so happy and it tasted really good! Nikki and I watched an ep of Sliders while we ate. - It was a dinosaur ep. Then I watched Will and Grace. It's so weird having all these OLD eps that I have not seen. They are from season 5 which is when I think they put it on Thursdays at the same time as ER or somthing, so I couldn't watch them. doh. So now I am filling in all the gaps. lol.
After that Nikki and I watched 'Baby Boom'. That movie has always been a fave of mine and mum's. I love it! lol.
After that I sat on the comp till 3am again...and slept in till 11:3oam-ish. I kept waking up and getting interupted by Nikki. So I had a few different dreams. Most involving Crossing Jordan characters. lol.
Today I am going to the shops, then down to visit Grandma and Grandpa probably, and then Mum is dropping me at Brett's, who is taking me down to Vanessa's with him. -It's all very complicated. lol.
Well I should go. I have to finish some stuff on the comp so that I can go shopping....
