Krispy Kremes AT LAST!!!!!!!

So Tuesday was the grand opening of the city store for Krispy Kreme doughnuts in Melbourne. I was so happy cause there was no way I was ever gonna get out to fountain gate to get some. Luckily my mum works right near the store, so on tuesday she brought home a big assorted box. Nikki and I were over the moon! We each had one during Project Runway, and then Nikki and I shared a chocolate one. In total I had about 4...1 original glaze, 1 iced glazed with sprinkles, 1 cinnamon, 1/2 a cinnomon and then the 1/2 devils food one(chocolate).
Mum says she doesn't have to buy any more ever now...but I'm sure that there will be more where that came from...at least at some point in time. Also since its in the city now, I might be able to get some for myself! :D

I've only got 1 day left of my holidays, so far I've been watching movies, gilmore girls (I'm half way through season 4 now), and working on my essay on theories of personality. I also have to get started on a draft for Olga's class about how the peasants in Russia weren't really revolutionaries, and then I have to hand that report in on the 13th of October, which is the same day my research report for Paul's class is due! I can't wait till thats all over! Ness might be coming over that night for Alias watchage. -I have no idea how I'm gonna narrow down my list of eps to watch!

Well not much else to tell....not at all looking forward to working at 7:45am on Saturday...but meh, it's only 3 hours and I need the money!

Oh yes! I am very very very mad at NBC for pushing back the premire date for Crossing Jordan!...well in fact now there is no date at all! October was a long enough wait as it was! ..and the crossover with Las Vegas is gonna be totally messed up now! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Oh well. ...

Devils and shiny clothes

Last night I went to Vanessa's for another movie night. Brett nicely came and picked me up and then dropped me home again...around 4am. lol.
Me, Ness and Brett decided on pizzas and then watched 13 going on 30...aka Suddenly 30. We wanted a Jen fix and Brett had never seen it. And since Ness is gonna dress up as Jenna for my party we thought it was appropriate. And after that Nick and Kay arrived and we spent ages deciding on a 2nd movie...since it's so hard to get all of us to agree to 1 movie. hehe. So we picked The Three Musketeers, which a few of us had never seen before. -But we were pretty bored by it really, and spent most of the time arguing over the likeability of Kiefer Sutherland aka Jack Bauer. And then of course Charlie Sheen and Chris O'Donnell.

After that we watched all the bloopers for Alias ...and me and Ness almost died of laughter. I think the others found it funny too. Jennifer is so adorably...nuts. ..in fact the whole cast appears to have been insane. lol.
And then Ness put on 'the routine' from Friends. I love that bit.

Today I slept till practically noon, and then we went to the video store and then went to the movies to see 'The Devil Wears Prada' with mum and Nikki. It was funny and pretty cool. I enjoyed it.

Tomorrow I will have to go in and check when I'm working next. And maybe we'll get to do some shopping (hopefully at Chadstone) done too.

Stay cool.

School Holidays....and broken bits

So today is the 2nd day of my first week of school holidays, as the first weekend never counts as holidays, as we don't go to school on the weekends...duh. hehe.
Yesterday I watched dvds and tv till I had to go to work, I worked for 3 and a half hours and then got home almost an hour later, after we did the shopping.

Today I've been watching Gilmore Girls season 2 on dvd all day. I finally got them all. I wanted the season 2 box to match the seasons 1, 3 and 4 boxes, but after going to like 7 shops, 5 on Friday before class...in which I stupidly walked all over the city, to find them, I gave up and just got the new skinny box, which doesn't match...but at least I have the dvds now. I also bought season 5.

Friday night I went to Brett's 21st. It was a cocktail party and so I got all dressed up. It was fun. Ness, Vicky, Kayley and Nick were all there, as well as others whose names I can't remember right now, and other friends of Brett's from various places. Ness and I stayed over and ended up talking for a bit. Then we got to sleep some time around 5am. We woke up around 10:30am and then spent about an hour and a half reading books and talking in the room we were sleeping in. Then Ness drove me home. :)
In the arvo, I went to check my roster for work and then we shopping in Camberwell.

On Sunday, Mum, Nikki and I went to the Fitzroy Gardens for a picnic. We've wanted to go there for ages, but just haven't gotten around to it -it's been ages. We went in Captain Cook's cottage, which I don't think I've ever been in before...although mum claims that I have...of course I was about 1 she says, so I wouldn't remember anyways..and so it does not count!

And currently our dvd/cd rom on the computer is jammed and now it won't open. Grrr. It's going to bug me now!

Emmy Week

So Monday was Emmy day for us in Australia. I am sure they were early this year, cause I had to tape them as I was in class all day. But I watched some when I got home and then finished after work and Grey's Anatomy.

I really enjoyed them. Conan rocks! -Thanks to Jacinta the song has been stuck in my head all day! lol.

As a huge Aaron Spelling fan and a Charlie's Angels fan, I loved the Aaron tribute and the Angels' appearance!

I was really happy Mariska Hargitay and Megan Mullally won awards. -Unfortunately half the great shows and people working on those great shows, don't seem to get any recognition at all. -which is for some reason most of the shows I like. ....which I swear says nothing about my taste in tv shows!
So I cling to whatever people I DO have that get even nominated....or heck even invited!

So yeah, another enjoying year of the emmys.

I finally managed to finish downloading the season finale of NCIS season 3 and watched it Wednesday...which I guess is no longer yesterday now. ...hmm.
I cried! lol. -I'm such a sook.
Nikki and I watched Phoebe's wedding episode today of Friends, and I got teary! and during the episode where Monica and Chandler tell them that they want to move out of the city.
I'm gonna be terrible when we get up to the finale! We've got about 6 eps left! I haven't watched it again since it first aired....even though I have it taped off tv. -I love series finales! They are both sad and full of really special moments!

....
ooo today in class we did these personality tests. according to this test, I am an Extroverted intuitive thinker or something like that.....
It was interesting.

Rock on!
