Random Hidey Ho

I don't really have much to say, just filling in some time while I'm having a group MSN chat with my fellow PCP project group. We are finalising our proposal that is due tomorrow.

It's totally freezing! I'm sitting here in my uggies and have my hood on to keep my head warm. -My hands are FROZEN! I need new gloves.
On the weekend I went shopping with mum and Nikki, I bought 3 new t-shirts, all old fashioned prints, a yellow tweety bird one, a new wonder woman one and a Mickey and Minnie one. I also bought a new backpack cause my old one is really worn out.

Today I went shopping before a make up tute, in Camberwell for a present for Bec. Her 21st is on tomorrow night. I got her this book, it's a feminist humor thing. Its cool. lol.
There weren't many people at the tute, and I was really out of it. I'd spent the whole morning watching Las Vegas on dvd. lol.
For some reason the vcr didn't tape 'The View' last night, so I missed yesterdays ep. grr. But I did watch 2 more eps of Wonderfalls last night and am finally up to Jewel Staite's eps. My NCIS season 3 and 90210 season 2 will be here soonish. -So I better hurry up and finish season 2. lol.

I think that's enough ramblings

Wacky Wednesday

Didn't do much today.
Got up. That was 6:40am. Got ready, had breaky etc...left at 5 past 8am. Walked to the station. Caught my train to the city, went to class.
Sat in class. Chatted.
Nicole is back. I thought she was gonna be off travelling all year, but I guess not. So she's back. Which is nice, cause she's pretty nice.

After class I went home. All was fine and dandy.
I got home at about 20 to 1pm. I put out the washing, did a little foruming, made some breffles for lunch and sat down and watched The View.
Scott came home, so he took the comp and so I watched the Providence eps I had taped from this morning and yesterday morning. -Turns out I had Molly Sims' m&m's ad on one of the tapes. -I'm gonna try and keep it. lol

Then I whinged to Scott and he let me on the comp. I had been on for only a little while, before mum came home and we went to the supermarket. -Scott was back on the comp when we got back. -So after more whinging, I got it back again.
I watched tv all night.

At 8:30pm I watched House. It was quite upsetting and emotionally draining to watch. It was all about a 9yold girl with cancer...I could relate a little too well. -Although I was not terminal...or kissed by any cuteish doctors. lol.
Then there was NCIS, which was also a little sad, but I was focusing on all the cute/funny/good stuff. I love the end..as sad as it is and all...

Tomorrow is another 5(4) hour class. So I gotta be there at 9:30am again. I hate 9:30am starts! It's such a bitch!
lol

well must be off....things to do...words to type

Hot, Tired, Achey, and They Questioned The Quality of My CJ!

Okay so today was day 2 of Carlie's back to school special. I got up at 7am..after going to bed just before midnight. I got some decent sleep, but it was bloody freezing in the morning!
I couldn't drink my coffee. -For some reason it just tasted all bad and icky. But I did have cinnamon on toast (I blame Jordan) and nutella, so I was okay for the day.

I caught the 8:26am train from my station. -I got a lift. Yay for someone being home in the mornings this week!
I met Jacinta at Richmond station again and we went to class (via the 2nd train trip of course).
Once again there was too many people for the classroom, so it was a bit squishy.
We all wrote our names and numbers and stuff down on the role. We have another new teacher. Paul. He seems nice enough.
We did a 'introduce yourself' thing. I of course admitted my tv obsession and that Crossing Jordan was my fave show. -He didn't seem too appealed by the show. -Saying he'd wonderered if it 'could' be someone's fave show. -I almost yelled yes! lol.
I also went on about people not saying my name right. lol. -I am never getting over it!

After class we picked up our diarys and went to the station. I got the number of the machine that stole my money on Monday. Then I went to the city, Faith and Elsa were meeting at 12:3opm, so I went to the atm to check my balance - a mere $34..eeek.
Then I bought some cookies and waited at the usual spot.

They came, we chatted. We went in search of lunch. They got sushi and we went to macca's and I got my food and we sat and chatted some more. -There was some exchanging of dvds and other movies etc.

After that we went to Melbourne central and then after a failed attempt at getting Serenity tins for Elsa and Faith -They were sold out in like 3 hours! It's MADNESS! Madness I tell you!
hehe.
We there perused some other stores. We headed down to JB in bourke street and Faith bought a copy there, she got a slip cover and a poster too!
Then we met up with Karen for a short while, then headed to Crown to see if Sanity had anything. They didn't even know anything about it. -So helpful.
We played in spaceship thing at the Warner Bros store and looked at lotsa cool stuff. We rambled about how the names they use for all those name things are not fair and how some are just stupid!
We also then spent a great deal of time looking at all these beanie bears. -It was quite amusing.

We then walked back to Minotaur. -My feet were killing me!

Then we went to the other JB and then back to Melb central. We got milkshake thingies from 31 Baskins and Robins. -They were yummy.
While we were sitting there, Leanne walked past, she said hello. -It was weird.
And then not too much later, Peter Beilby walked past.
-it was quite an odd day!

After that we headed to the station to go home. via The Reject shop.

I got home just after 6:30pm, I was hot - it was supposed to be 35 today. I was a bit tired and I was also in alot of pain! My feet were broken! lol.
-It was hot so I wore my sandaly shoes, they ain't too good for the walking!

I ended up having a shower, and felt much better after.
I then watched Will and Grace from yesterday and then todays ep. Then I watched House, while I read the paper. Then I watched NCIS and taped ER. I cried less than 5 minutes into NCIS, even though I had seen it before! -It was way sad! But also really funny! Sometimes I was crying while I was laughing.

Then I watched the outtakes on my Serenity dvd, and then I am here.
I gotta charge up my iPod before tomorrow. Another 7am start to my day for another 9:30am class. Stupid 9:30 starts! and another 5 hour class too! Grrr. -I hope they shorten it a tad!...I really really hope!

More Las Vegas tomorrow night. Looks like they are skipping the crossover again, like last year. They just didn't learn! I am very angry and grumpy!
I guess CJ ain't coming back till mid year! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Well I think that's all I have to say for now.
Toodles and sweet dreams to all....'cept for those that dis CJ. -They must be killed. ...politely of course! hehe

A Sleepy Day Off...With Hats

I'm am SO exhausted as I type this...and I will go to bed really really soon. -I have to get up to go to tafe tomorrow. boo. lol

Today I did nothing, but everything! lol.
I got up, watched Providence. -I hate that I'm gonna miss it most days now because I will be at classes. Grrr!

After that I had my shower quickly. -As I needed as much time as possible before The View and Will and Grace.
So I got all dressed, in my comfy houseclothes (trackies), and sat down to watch the View from yesterday (well friday technically), then I made breaky and watched the season 5 CJ dvd I made for Elsa and Faith. I watched one, then had a short break, then watched the 2nd one, which was the crossover with Las Vegas, so I watched the LV ep too.
-It was cool watching them again, though I wish it was on tv!!!
I watched them because I am up to ep 13 of Season 5, and so I needed to be in the mindset of these eps, so that I can discuss them without giving anything away.

I taped Will and Grace while I watched the dvd, as I wouldn't be home to watch it tonight.

After the eps finished, I sat on the comp for 5minutes and the made some lunch and sat down and watched today's ep of The View.
They did this 'In Memoriam' Thing, which was all nice and sweet and all...but I found it on that when discussing Rosemary Clooney, that they made all this mention of her nephew George Clooney, but no mention of Miguel Ferrer HER SON! -Poor Garret! lol
Today is Miguel's birthday. Happy Birthday Miguel!

After that I sat on the comp, then I got ready to go to Em's. I was meeting Nick and Kay in the city and so I got a lift to the station from dad and got in there at 5pm. I met up with them at Fed Square and then we walked up to Nick's Car. -Well we walked to the tram that took us to Nick's car...
We then drove to Em's, we got there first. It was a pretty quiet night, and more and more people showed...but I wasn't overly talkative.
Elsa and Karen had car trouble, but they got there, even before our dinner! lol.
We watched 2 eps of some british show called 'Coupling'. It was weird and sorta funny, but boring by ep 2. -One of the chicks in it was in Law and Order: Criminal Intent on Sunday. lol

Then we had dinner and watched 'School Hard'. It's a great ep. Elsa and I talked through most of it though...as we always do.
I gave her her CJ dvd. She now has possession of Faith's too.

Harm had presents for us from Uncle Petey. -Good ole Pete! Me, Nick and Elsa got 'Jayne Hats'. -Which are those wintery beanie hats that cover the ears and have tassles that hand down.
Me and Elsa wore ours all night -Infact I'm still wearing mine, it's really warm and cosy! lol.
We looked very cute! If I do say so myself...plus everyone else said so first! lol

Nick dropped me home and Me and Elsa chatted all the way in the car.
I might be meeting up with Faith and Elsa in the city tomorrow for a bit. Should be fun!
I have class at 9:30am till 11:30pm. I will be able to kill an hour before meeting them I'm sure.

I'm still realy really sleepy and I should go to bed. I can't wait for tomorrow. NCIS is starting back on channel 10! Even though I have seen ep 1 and 2...I am still really excited about seeing it again...and the rest to come in the following weeks ofcourse!

My Serenity dvd should come tomorrow...I hope!

Okay time for bed. Toodleloo!

I'm a Working Gal!

Today I got the call from Safeway and they gave me a job! Yay! I have to go to an induction session on the 18th and then training during that week. I am sorta nervous now! lol. But how hard can putting stuff in bags and giving change be! lol.

Also today, was Nikki's first day back at school. I got up at 8am and did her hair for her. Then I made sure she was ready and took her photo, before seeing her off. -out the front door of course, for I was still in my pj's! lol
I watched Providence and read the paper. Scott got up and watched tv.
After my shower, I checked on my download of the CJ ep. Then I watched The View and had my breffles for breaky.
I had to stop halfway through the view, because I forgot about Will and Grace. lol. So I watched that and then finished The View.
Then I put out the washing and then my CJ ep was done, so I sat down and watched that. It was a Great ep! I love it.
No more eps till March now! I hope channel 7 puts it on soon! grrrrr!
Oh well LV starts Thursday...YAY! And NCIS next week i think!

After CJ, I wrote down my thoughts again. Then I went and made lunch and watched The View. They are having their 2000th show this week and are showing all these old clips. I know I loved the show the minute I saw it back when we first got foxtel. I remember watching it every time we had that channel! lol. My how they have changed! hah.

Then I sat on the comp for most of the afternoon. Chatting with Elsa. -I've missed chatting to her!
Then I went and sat in my room for a while. I watched Friends at 6:30pm and then we had dinner. I was still hungry after my small portion of the fish and chips, so i made Mac and Cheese. lol.
After that I was on the comp a bit more, then I sat in my room listening to music and then playing Care Bear Uno and Spit with Nikki. Then I started reading a chapter of Tom Sawyer, but almost fell asleep. So I had a coffee and sat down and watched Ned and Stacey on TV1 and then some of Law and Order SVU. -I dunno why but I have become very interested in the Law and Order shows lately. I blame Jill...or Elsa....or...me! lol

I am going to the city with my girls tomorrow. Yay! I've missed them! lol.

I shold go to bed soon. But I'm kinda interested in writing some of this stuff about a new show idea I had.

Toodles!

Trouble Times Like A THOUSAND!

Today was just a bad day. Actually it had it's moments....

Like I got to watch a new episode of Crossing Jordan! yay. That was ep 12. Weird. It feels like there have been more than that.

Before that I took Nikki up to the school to collect her books for the year. Scott went off to work and was out all day.
Dad came home at 1pm (about 10 minutes after I finished watching the great ep of CJ), and then he drove me to Prahran for my enrollment.

-He was a total pain, because he was there...off shopping and would just come in and pay the fees. He made me go through all this jazz, so that he could pay over the phone or something. He's a total flake and I am really mad at him for it. I asked and everything.
People should know that for me to ask for something, especially from my parents or other grown-ups (eg. teachers) is a really hard thing for me. And he just has to be a pathetic jerk. oh well. What am I gonna do. *sigh*

So then anyways...I stayed and chatted with Jacinta, Kelly and Judith while they paid, and then went and met dad. Who decided to stay around. Grrr.
We stopped at Ashburton on the way home to buy bread...and I waited in the car. I was totally bombarded with things relating to my tv shows. lol. From Duchamp clothing, to a Molly Sims ad on the window of the chemist, to some guy Tim from a realestate place. lol.
-It amused me.

When I got home I sat on the computer. Mum came home and I ended up getting into a huge fight with everyone because I was expressing my feelings about Dad and his deal!
Then mum got annoyed with me because I had not sent off for my health care card yet. Then because I was annoyed that my black pants are missing. So we went off to Target eventually to buy some new ones. It wasn't easy. lol. But we found a pair for now. I need a pair to wear to my interview at safeway tomorrow arvo. -Hopefully I will get a job and have some money to buy some new clothes! That'd be nice.

We got back and I watched tv. I went though some more old tapes. Then just before 8pm, I made my dinner. I hadn't eaten all day...well since the breffles I had around 11am. I was starving!!
Then I watched Will and Grace and then a repeat of NCIS. I think I had seen part of this ep before. Weird. lol.
Then I watched an ep of Sliders. And read another chapter of Tom Sawyer. Then I watched the blooper reels from Alias and then another ep of Sliders.
Tomorrow Scott isn't working. So he will be home all day. -No fun at all!
My interview is at 3:30pm, down at Camberwell. I will catch the tram down.

I am downloading a new ep of Las Vegas. Oh and channel 7 will start season 3 next Thursday night! I can't wait! hehe.

Still Grumpy, Still Sleepy

Still hot too!
Today was warmish, but had moments of rain and cool breezes. I didn't do anything today. I didn't go to Em's as there was issues with transportation for myself. I spent the rest of the day sitting around at home.

This morning after watching Providence, I returned a call from someone at the Safeway Recruitment office, that I got yesterday, but didn't get the message till last night. She asked if I was still interested in a position and so I have a group interview next week. Hopefully that will come through! - I'm crossing my fingers.

I also got a letter from my TAFE today. They want me to go pay my fees and enrol officially on the 24th and then classes are supposed to start on the 6th...I was really hopeing they'd start a week or 2 later. Oh well.
I also printed out the form for a health care card today, so I will have to fill that out and send that off...or whatever I have to do with it.

Nikki didn't get home till almost 2pm, and she was tired and worn out. -meaning mostly grumpy.
I spent the evening watching Sliders, Will and Grace, NCIS, Gilmore Girls, Friends etc etc. Not much really. Oh and I got to hear Pauley Perrette's (Abby from NCIS) one line in Brother Bear. Lol.

Oooo and after watching Sliders tonight, I watched the rest of the ep of Law and Order, and then the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and then Conan. I wasn't going to watch Conan, but I waited to see who they had on, and it was a repeat with Molly Sims (Delinda Deline from Las Vegas) and so I HAD to watch it....and tape it. lol. I LOVE her! She is a nut...as are most cool people these days. lol.

Mum is home tomorrow, so there are a few things planned. A few things to be done before their trip on Thursday. I am meeting up with the gang in the city on Thursday, and will then come home and watch my shiny shiny new eps of Crossing Jordan and Las Vegas. I can't wait! -They are still not downloaded fully yet. Doh!

2006 - Day 3

...For lack of a better title. hehe.

So my tuesday was pretty boring really, I didn't do much of anything really. I played the Sims2 ALL day and created a whole new generation, which I have named 'The Las Vegas Generation', as I have created a Mary, a Delinda and a Samantha Jane. hehe. - Mary also has a twin brother called Nicholas..but that doesn't really have anything to do with Las Vegas...I don't think. heh.
I was also updating my iPod a lot too.

Last night was an Em's night. I caught my train and didn't have to buy a ticket, as we saw Mum driving home as Dad was driving me to the station, and she gave me her daily ticket. So yay for that.
I think I lost my sunglasses cover somewhere during all my travel. Doh. Oh well it's nothing special.
It was pretty cold yesterday and even at Em's I was glad I wore my jacket. We got pizzas. Probably not quite enough for everyone to have enough, but I think everyone got some.
We watched the Unaired Pilot of Buffy, and then we watched The Dark Age and Surprise. -I am sorta sick of season 2 now. I know they are great eps, but I have over watched them I think. *shrug*. I dunno. I would really like to watch some season 5 or 7 even.
Everyone was pretty tired and sleepy I think, but there was some silly chatting. Mostly from me..., but Elsa and I were having fun with making up narrative type comments. :P

When I got home last night, at just after 10pm, I was exhausted. I went and watched last nights Will and Grace, and NCIS that I had taped while I was out.
Then I sat around watching the pilot of Melrose Place, which was on foxtel late last night. I watched most of it, mostly because it was a semi crossover with Beverly Hills 90210. -Which I grew up with.
After a while I got bored and more sleepy, so I went to bed and read another chapter of The Garden of the Purple Dragon. And then, after fighting to get Toffs out of my room (again), I went to sleep and slept till almost 9am. Yay. But I was still totally exhausted still.
I watched Providence in widescreen which was cool, but was only half paying attention and was reading the paper.

After that I had a really really long shower...which I needed to wake up. -I was also really cold!
The stupid summer hot weather has vanished this week, I want it back so I can go swimming! wah!
I just finished watching the season 3 premire of NCIS. FINALLY! Dad's back at work today, so I had the house to myself for a while, as Scott was sleeping in late. I watched the first 2 eps and cried and laughed and grined and awwed. hehe. I love that show. I just need to see the rest now. I might wait at this point...we'll see. I don't think I can be bothered downloading them, as I am already downloading Las Vegas and Crossing Jordan...hmm. But we'll see.

My mum is now on a 'No White Bread' kick. So we have no good bread in the house and I refuse to eat wholemeal, as I hate the taste. So I will probably be really sleepy and aggitated/grumpy for the rest of the day, as I will not be eating much. grrr.

Nikki is off with Lucy today. I belive she is seeing The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe again. Lol.
There is also a new ep of the View on today. yay. -So I better hurry up and finish on the comp.

A Little Bit Cooler, But A Heck Of A Lot Wetter!

So last night all is good, I managed to get to watch Will and Grace on dvd and then NCIS -normally I have to tape it on the arial and its all fuzzy, but things worked out in my favour last night. :)
But during NCIS, my sister decide to have a bath, she turned on the tap as she was getting out and the water would not turn off again. So the poor thing was in tears, thinking it was all her fault and she wasn't going to get to go to Canberra in Jan. Dad started yelling at her (as usual) and we tried to fix it. It was the hot tap, so they turned off the water and went to Kmart to get stuff to fix it. Mum fixed it late last night, and then they all went to bed.
So that was a little bit of drama we had last night. The pilot light on the heater went out, so there was no hot water till Dad managed to fix it this morning.

Today wasn't nearly as hot as yesterday. Only 27 or something I think.
I watched Providence, then got dressed. -after almost falling asleep on the couch. lol. I was sleepy. I updated stuff on my iPod and put a few more CD's onto it.
Then Nikki and I watched Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star. It's a funny movie. We like it. lol.
Then I watched the rest of the Two Brothers movie, about the Tigers. It was good and had a happy ending, happy endings are good. lol. It also had Guy Pierce in it..which was just odd. I haven't seen him in a movie in yonks. Good Aussie word there. :P

Not much else going on today, I am kinda bored already. Dad is home at the moment, that's kinda annoying. He keeps asking Nikki if she needs anything every 10 minutes. She's 10 years old, she needs to learn to be self sufficient. She is perfectly capable of making her own lunch or getting a glass of water.

Last night I watched Molly, which was really good. Jill Hennessy was in it, she had odd colored hair (for her), I think it was filmed after Chutney Popcorn - cause her hair is kinda blondy in that. It was about a guy who had to look after his autistic sister and was very interesting and drew me in.

Nic and I might watch Toy Story tonight, maybe Hercules. We'll see. I think we are having a BBQ for dinner. I love a good barbie. hehe

Still Overshopped, But Having Fun!

Today was not a so great day, well at the beginning anyways. Lol. There seems to be something out there trying to stop me from hanging out with my friends Elsa and Faith. Today for example, my alarm didn't go off at 8am like it was supposed to, instead I slept in till 10 to 11. Now I was supposed to catch a train at 11:26, of course I missed this train. I got up, showered, figured out what to wear, got ready, and left. I ended up catching not the train after the one I had missed, but the next one. I got there and all was good. Elsa and I browsed and then had lunch before meeting Faith a little later. After I had finished my lunch, Elsa pointed out to me that my nose was bleading! Fun. So I tried to stop that, with the help of a trip to the bathroom... It was quickly taken care of. Then as we were walking to the station, I noticed my bottle of coke in my bag was leaking. Woops. So a few things in my environmentaly safe AGE bag were a little sticky, but luckily Faith's pressie was not ruined. :)

We visited many stores, I bought a little something for my mum. I would have liked to get her something better, but I couldn't find much. I also had NO luck in finding anything for Nikki. Which sucks, but I have promised to take her shopping after Christmas and buy her something then. Oh well.

I got home a bit before 6 and relaxed a little, before Me, Mum, Nikki and Scott went up the street to meet for our annual Street Christmas Carols. We started at no.45 and worked out way around the street. We have been doing these carols for at least 15 years I think. So they are very close to my heart. I also love singing and I love the carols. -Though I think I may make up some new books myself next year, we were a little short of variety this year. Oh well.
Nikki and I had fun playing with the little kids of the street. These kids were 3 and under. The pushy, but adorable Lauren and the hyper, acident prone, but SO cute Harry. I love little kiddies. They were so cute. hehe. -Just incase you didn't get it...the kids were really CUTE! haha.

So that finished at 8pm and then I came home and watched Will and Grace and then some Law and Order, and then an ep of Las Vegas (Season 2). I watched Leno for a little while, and then got on the comp. I have now downloaded the first 2 eps of NCIS. I was supposed to be given the eps, but something happened and then I didn't...
I watched the 3rd ep of Season 2 of Veronica Mars and then went and watched today's ep of The View. I really love that show. They crack me up and they also talk about interesting (and sometimes bizarre) stuff. They also have celebs on and other cool bits and pieces. It's a US show, thats probably one reason I like it so much. lol.

Well thats enough of me for tonight. ooo only 2 more days till Christmas!
It's supposed to be really hot tomorrow. 36 degrees celsius, yeesh!

Nighty Night.

Overshopped!

I was SO exhausted last night, that I didn't feel like posting..but I'll get to that later.
It is now past midnight, making it Thursday instead of Wednesday. I hope to go to bed soonish. I have been feeling extra tired again, but not as bad as before. I no longer fall asleep while I'm watching INTERESTING TV. ...Though that may have something to do with the fact that most of the tv I have been watching is on the computer.

I was given the first 11 eps of season 3 of Las Vegas, and so I have been watching those in the mornings, while my brother has been sleeping in and getting up late. -Which actually works out okay for me, except that I have to do the laundry..but its not really that bad.
I finished the 11th ep today and really do love that show. It's so silly, and just really fun. There is a new ep on the 2nd of Jan, so I will have to download that one, and probably the ones after. I have finished the Crossing Jordan ones I downloaded, the next ep doesn't air in the US till the 8th, so I will have to wait awhile. I was given the first half of Season 2 of Veronica Mars, and I just finished watching the first 2 eps. I like that show. It makes you want to watch the next eps. But I'm not obsessed or anything, I just HAVE to keep watching. lol.

So what have I been up to since Monday?...well lets see...
-Monday night I watched the Michael Buble ep of Las Vegas. He's so funny. lol. I do have a slight obsession with that ep. And the one after it with the camping. I watched that one too. lol.
-Tuesday, I watched 2 more new Las Vegas eps and then bummed around the house and then went shopping in the afternoon. I went to Melbourne Central looking for pressies for peoples. I found a couple and I wrapped them on the train on the way to Em's. It was quite tricky, but I managed well enough. hehe.
-Em's was a lot of fun, lots of people were there...some a little dressy for Christmas, some (HARM) with bunny ears. -But she looked so adorable! lol. We played TCM Scene it. ...I say WE played...but actually, while I was on a team...I didn't really concentrate or participate. and I don't know the answers so yeah. lol. I so need TV SCENE it! That's a little more up my alley.
After the game and dinner (pizza), we did our KK. Elsa had me, I got a fancy Chinese eating set, and a spatula. -If you are a Buffy fan and have seen Homecoming from season 3 you may get the ref...Cordelia found a phone and a spatula, and decided the spatula was more useful. lol.
Oh yeah, the KK was a Jossverse ref thingy. I had Chris. I gave him a little Count Von Count from Seseme Street. -Its a ref to the season 5 ep of Buffy, Buffy vs Dracula...
-After that, we watched Life of the Party. One of Elsa's and my fave eps. Half for sentimental reasons, half cause it rocks! That is where our whole PRESUMALLY thing came from. -Which started last New Years Eve, when after a couple of drinks and lots of sugar, we pretty much quoted the whole ep and said PRESUMALLY......A LOT A LOT! hehe. So that was a lot of fun to watch. Its a great ep.
-Nick drove me home again as always :) and we (and Elsa) chatted about lots of things, including Will and Grace a lot.

When I got home, I watched TV. It was a little after 11 and I found myself watching the repeats of Desperate Housewives. It was a funny one too.
So at a little after 12, I came out and asked my brother if I could use the computer. I had been out since quater to 4 and I needed to do a couple of things before I could go to bed. I was totally drained and exhausted. But he kept saying no and then with me being all tired and emotional, I started yelling. I could hear my brothers music, from my room -even though the dude was wearing headphones. He finally got off (after much more complaining and pleading) just before 1am. I was so ready for sleep, but I did what I had to do and then went to sleep. Finally!
-I ended up having this really odd dream about how I was adopted and I was meeting my birth mother and sister or something. It was kinda weird. -as it would be. duh. lol.

Today I didn't do much. It was Nikki's last day of school for summer break. -Which is only just over a month, which is totally stupid and not fair! But meh. Oh well.
I watched the last 2 Las Vegas eps that I have from Season 3. I played the Game of Life with Nic, then walked down to the letter box, watched some tv and bummed around again.
I also got a package in the mail from the lovely Ella! She sent me lovely things, including a dancing cow pen and a Serenity wristband thingy, and a cute little christmas puppy.

Tomorrow I am going to the city with my girls. Should be fun. Haven't seen Faith in AGES! Nikki is going to the city with Maree, so I will keep an eye out for them. lol.
I downloaded the first 2 eps of NCIS (well I had half of ep one already downloaded) as it will be ages before the dvds come around to me. Oh well. I suppose I really should just wait till tv...but thats no fun. I wanna talk to the others about it!
Speaking of which, I have been writing notes about my thoughts and stuff from watching the new Crossing Jordan and Las Vegas episodes, so that I can share my first thoughts later on when Elsa and the others get to watch them.

Okay thats enough for now I think. Only 3 more days till Christmas! yay....well in theory! :P

Toodles!

We Have Progress

Oops, I almost forgot my blog entry for today...not that it really matters if I post one every day or not...but I like to.

Last night I was really really bored. I did a fair amount of work on my media folio for economics and society in the afternoon/evening. I then sat around trying to think of something to watch on tv. I eventually decided to watch an ep of Firefly. Which was really weird to watch, as I haven't watched the actual eps for ages, but I have seen the movie Serenity 4 times since I last watched them, so it was weird seeing them not running for their lives and all. haha.
I then watched more tv and then decided to watch the NCIS season finale.....yes I was really bored and had nothing better to do than watch tv last night. And then played Donkey Kong 3 on our old Super Nintendo. -yes its ancient...but I still like it. hehe.

I sat up late talking to my guys on BCA. It was really nice to have a late night BCA chat with Elsa again. Its been a while as her comp is not being at all friendly these days. Which sucks. But there was a whole bunch of people online last night and so there was lots of silly conversation to be had. It was fun.

Today I slept in till about 11:20 and then got straight on the comp and mucking around for a little while before getting started on my economics and society essay due tuesday. I actually got a fair bit done today. I refused to leave until I had at least 500 words. Which I did acomplish, but I have a feeling that a lot of it will be edited out later on. *sigh*
I also managed to do other things that I had to do around the house...though there is still a huge pile of clean laundry in my room that is still not completely put away, I attempted some of it this afternoon.
My brother went off to the movies which got him out of my hair-thank god! and my sis brought her somewhat annoying friend home from school with her...they were being somewhat pains in my ass. But my mother came home and got it sorted out. yay.
We went down to Camberwell, and looked around Target and went to get a few things from the supermarket, before heading home for dinner. Stopping at Blockbuster to rent Bewitched on the way.
My brother and dad brought home pizza for tea. It was okay. Not that great...imo.
My sis and I sat down to watch Survivor. and then we watched Bewitched. It was pretty boring...but wasn't completely terrible. It had its moments.

Tonight I watched 2 more eps of Veronica Mars. 13 down now. yay. Good show. I'm enjoying it.
And added a few more lines to my script...which seems to have been put on the backburner this past week. I have seem to have lost some of my inspiration. which sucks. Hopefully when my course is done for the year, I will be able to finish it off. *crosses fingers and toes* Here's to hoping.

Less than a week left! Woo and a hoo!

Wonderful Wednesdays...totally boring

Wednesdays are one of the most unfun days of the week. While you are 2 days closer to the weekend than Monday, you are stuck in the middle of the week, with still more days to come. Personally I hate wednesdays because it means that yesterday was tuesday and I miss everyone that I was with tuesday night at Em's. It's the worst day, cause it's a whole nother week before we see each other again, and thats no fun at all.

Today I had to go in to swinburne to re-enrol. I got up early(for a wednesday), at about 9:30am and sat around on the computer. I put on the washing, I put out the washing, I opened all the blinds and let light into the house...while my brother slept till about 11:30.
I left the house a little after 12 and walked to the station to catch my train. For some reason there were a lot of people on the train today. I always have to change trains at Camberwell station, because for some reason my line is a short one, so we only get half the services, at least in the middle of the day anyways.
I got to Richmond and sat around listening to my (dad's) crappy discman, waiting for the Sandringham train to arrive. It takes me 3 trains to get to tafe in the middle of the day. It is sometimes very annoying. But today was all good. The sun was out and it was semi warm and I was still kinda hyper from last nights Em's. The train arrived and I helped this lady with her pram onto the train, for some reason that really stuck out as a big part of my day. I dunno why exactly. Maybe its the fact that I was aware of the fact that I actually am a kind person, despite what my parents(and brother and sister) think and say most of the time...

Anyways...

I got to tafe and not at all surprising, but hardly anyone from my group showed up. Jacinta was there and we chatted as I filled out my forms. We sorted out our presentation for tomorrow's class and then played with the video, trying to see if it would work. It did not.
She gave me some more magazine clippings, she rocks. She's always giving me clippings with bits and pieces about Crossing Jordan and Jerry O'Connell and Jill Hennessy and anything else she thinks I'd want, such as Serenity stuff. I cannot belive how much stuff she has given me this year. It's crazy! ..or maybe SHE'S crazy! lol
So all up I was there about an hour at most. I caught my train home, getting a really crappy old train from Richmond and then having to change again at Camberwell. But at least that train was nicer. :P hehe. I walked home from the station, enjoying the sunshine and got home about 2:30.

For no reason at all really, I decided to watch Hocus Pocus. Just because I had found out last night that Sean Murray(McGee from NCIS) was in it. I do love that movie and knew exactly who he was and then spent the whole movie being miffed that he was only 16 at the time!...it seems wrong when you see movies with people that are much older than you now, but were your age or younger in these other movies...its just weird!

Tonight I did nothing special. I didn't even really watch much tv like I usually do. I spent a good hour or something going though some of my old magazines(like ones from 98-2002) and then watched an ep of Will and Grace on Foxtel, Spicks and Specks and then (after my mother and sister watched Kath and Kim) I watched an ep of Crossing Jordan, while I waited for my mother to get off the computer.

Oh yes and I have also mostly worked out my presentation stuff and also watched an ep of Veronica Mars.

Very exciting stuff!

Fun in the Sun

-oh and the dancing cow mention from the last post was about how Elsa got a cow puppet for her birthday...and there is a dancing cow on msn... and yeah it's a thing. hehe.

So today i went to a foxtel day. Their 10th Birthday bash. It was out at flemington racecourse. I had never been out there. I drove over there and it was a pretty easy drive actually. Some good practice for me, including freeway time!

We got there a little after 11 and stuff was going, but there wasn't that many people around, so the lines for the activities were pretty short. After looking around a bit and getting a few balloons. I went and lined up for the baseball batting cages thing they had. My mum and little sis were standing with me and they decided they wanted to do it too. So it got to my turn and I missed a few, but I hit most I think. Then my sister had a go and then my mum. They got these tennis balls which you took over to a tent and got a free hat. I for some reason did not get one. *shrugs* But mum gave me hers, so me and Nikki got these New York Yankee caps. Mines tiny, as I have a tiny head. lol. Nikki's is way to big for me! and she's only 10. She has really thick hair. -So did I once upon a time. (I was somewhat annoyed when I learned later that they had Red Sox caps, cause those would have been better. lol)

After that we did more exploring. It was pretty much a bunch of tents set up and rides and stuff and a big stage for music. We got free popcorn, water, pepsi, lollies, etc etc. Stickers, a frisbee, a rainbow of balloons, and I got to play in the crime investigation tent, which was cool. I got to play with the face recognition program and look in miroscopes. I went on dodgy dogems. and got whiplash from some kids that couldn't drive, that kept bumping into me! lol. There were baby animals! I wanted to keep the pig and the baby goat and the lamb. There was Geese. I asked my mother if I could juggle them...she said no. -If you have ever watched Firefly you may know what I am talking about. It's from the ep Our Mrs Reynolds.
The animals were SO cute! There were a few piggies. One made me think of Babe, but one did make me think of Ella's Numfar. There were duckies! and Bunnies! and Sheeps and goats and little goats and little sheep and a little cow and a scary looking rooster(though most look scary if you ask me) and some baby ducks(which made me think of NCIS).

By the end of the day we were tired and hot. I ended up getting sunburnt! We stopped at Maccas (McDonalds) on the way home, cause we were pretty hungry. And I spent the evening playing frisbee with Nikki and Toffee the kitty (he was very cute). Watching an ep of NCIS and doing homework.
I so don't want to go to class tomorrow. But I think we are watching a movie. So maybe I will write a little more of my script. I wanna get that finished soon!

-toodles!

Dancing Cows and Glow in the dark mini golf

So last night I went out for my friend Elsa's 21st.
I started off my night running around my house trying to get myself ready, after getting money of my parents and then doing other stuff like wrapping presents-which for some reason had to be left until the last minute. *shrugs* I spent about 40minutes in the afternoon making a cardboard LPod. Yes LPod. -It's an NCIS thing. And I was making this while watching a vid that was taken at my last Camp Quality camp back in 2001. It brought back so many memories, I got a little teary. I miss the camps and the people. Mostly the people.

So anyways..on to something LESS depressing.
So when the time came I was picked up by said friend, which seemed odd that she was picking ME up on HER birthday...*shrugs*
And off to Knox we went. We got there and found the restaurant where we were meeting everyone (Bar Bosh) and sat around waiting for people to turn up. Eventually people did and there was many introductions.
The food was good. I shared a gourmet pizza with my friend 'Faith' and was then made to eat the wedges that kept magically appearing on my plate.
I sat around with Ness, Brett, Nick, Lucy and Faith (and Elsa when she was down our end) and we were talking about pretty much everything, from classes and assignments, and movies, tv, everything. After dinner we had cake and we all sang. -I don't understand how people don't want to sing. Somehow I ended up with two pieces of cake. I assume it was one for one of my personalities, and one for another. lol.
After cake (and sorting out the bill) we headed off around the corner to the Mini Golf place. It was pretty freaky or trippy..it was all glow in the dark and there were pictures painted on the wall with fluro paints, some of the pictures were just WEIRD. Now I totally sucked at playing, and was having trouble keeping my ball on the course! I do love mini golf because it's fun. I suck, but I have fun while I suck. lol.
Since there were 8 of us playing, we split into 2 groups, Me, Ness, Nick and Brett and Elsa, Faith, Lucy and Elsa's mum Karen. I dunno how they did, but Nick did the best out of my group.
Oh yes and there are interestingly colored glowing rocks in their...funnilly enough they actually rock when you stand on them which Ness and I found out, after almost falling off some. heh.
After the golf, we said our goodbyes and hugged etc. I got a lift home again with Elsa and her mum. I got home a little after 12. I somehow decided to watch another ep of Veronica Mars - I was given the eps by Nick and while I am not LOVING the show, I like it enough and am finding myself having to watch the whole set. Though if I had been watching it on tv, I may have lost interest. Odd that.
After fighting to get the kitty out from under my bed, I gave up and just left hte door open a crack and went to sleep. I was totally exhausted.

-That may be all for today.
I need to get working on those assignments I have. hmmm. oh what fun.

Lets Start at the very Beginning. I hear its a good place to start

...at least thats what Julie Andrews sang anyways.

Welcome to my blog. Ya know I never thought I'd actually end up writing one of these....and yet now I see that it was pretty much inevitable! lol. I really do have a lot to say! As anyone who has ever met me would know! hehe.

So for my very first post I would like to give a general rundown of what I am up to this week, and what I have been up to.

Whatever you know me as, be it Scooby_Gal/Scoobs, BuffyJewelLily, Lilyjnr, Serenity_Gal etc etc etc....the list really does go on and on....and on....and on. You are sure to know of at least one of my big loves in life, my many many tv show obsessions. New this year to the obsession list was Crossing Jordan and Las Vegas. Oh and I must ad NCIS too! I blame certain friends for the latter 2. The first one I watched originally of my own accord. My previous obsessions with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and Firefly are still evident and active. -I doubt they will ever go away completely. And that goes for all of my obsessions. I still love the watch the eps of 90210 I have on tape from way back when(taped off foxtel not off tv) and I still hold my Care Bear and Babysitters Club obsessions close to my heart.
Okay so enough of the obsessions.....I'm sure there will be many a mention of them as time goes on.

I am currently studying a certificate IV in Liberal Arts and only have a few weeks (and a few assignments) left of that and then next year I will be doing the Diploma year.
For the last week I have been very slack with my work on my assignments. I have one due next week on the Moon Landing...you know the whole "One small step for man..." thing. It's a presentation in class that I am doing with my friend Jacinta. After that is done, I have 3 more things to hand in. One is a report due on the 25th(the very last one) which I am writing about Nuclear waste and where it should be dumped etc. It's a somewhat interesting topic. And I did pick it myself. Then there are the boring and hard ones left. They are for economics. My least favorite of all the subjests. I have to write an essay on Australia and the OECD. I have no idea what I am going to write yet. Luckily we got it extended to the 22nd instead of the 15th, so I have an extra week to work on it. I also have to hand in a media folio thing, which has to be presented to the class about it. Mine is on Melbourne and is it the most liveable city.

Oh yes. I am from Melbourne Australia. I suppose I really should introduce myself somewhat.
So for those that do not know me. My name is Carlie Sheehan. My middle name is Ellen, just incase you were wondering :P My birthday is the 28th of November. I am a Sag and damm proud of it! So I will be turning 20 in a couple of weeks. So these are the last few days of my proper teen years.
But today is the birthday of a very dear friend, so I have to give a shout out birthday mention to Elsa. HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay I may leave it there for today. I'm sure I'll have something more to say by tomorrow. I always do!

Tonight I am off to dinner for Elsa's birthday and then we are gonna play Puttz, which is glow in the dark mini golf. I can't wait! It should be a blast. Who doesn't love mini golf?!
